After the American Revolution, the untamed wilderness of Onondaga County was designated a Military Tract, where land was donated to war veterans. John McHarrie and his wife Lydia were two of the first permanent settlers, arriving in 1794. They helped those traveling the Seneca River, and one of those travelers, Dr. Jonas Baldwin, arrived in 1798. Dr. Baldwin constructed a dam and a canal to harness the river's energy, and he built a bridge to establish the settlement as a river crossing. Eventually, the settlement was named for him. Today, the Village of Baldwinsville retains much of its historical atmosphere, with several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Baldwinsville apartments provide easy access to nearby Syracuse, just 12 miles southeast. A trip along I-690 takes roughly 15 minutes, making Baldwinsville ideal for commuters who prefer a small-town atmosphere.

Property Ratings at Village Green
These apartments are old, but the cost of the apartment is around the same of the newer ones that have hard wood floors & updated appliances (stove, fridge & dishwasher are at least 10+ years old). What you see in the pictures is NOT the case for all apartments cause when we asked why our's didn't' look like the ones advertised, we were told we had to pay extra for them to upgrade us (not worth that extra cost when they raised our rent again by close to $100 for a new year). Wish our patio was nicer & that the entry way had clear glass instead of frosted glass so you can see if someone is coming in/out of the building, especially when you are coming in with your dog & someone is walking out with theirs (to many run ins & close calls for fights). Other then that, it's an ok property & the staff seems to be nice & quick to respond.

lived at village green for a year through 2020-2021 and everything was excellent. it was the third apartment complex i’d lived in and was really fantastic. staff was friendly and helpful, apartments were clean and well-maintained and the grounds were always very well-kept. a beautiful place to live and i highly recommend it

I had lived in a few different apartment complexes in and around the Syracuse area and Village Green by far outperformed all of them. First, the people that work at the office are incredibly polite, responsive, and willing to help when needed. Second, the apartments had a lot of space and were incredibly well maintained. Third, noise was not a problem at all (we legitimately never heard anything from any of our neighbors). The grounds are the complex were really pretty and were great for walking. Pastas (the restaurant attached to the golf course) is within walking distance and is a great local food (and drinking) option. Despite being surrounded by a golf course, we never felt as if our vehicles or windows were in any danger.

Ok place to live until you leave.I was told my apartment was move in condition when I left then they held $700 of my money. Said $350 Application fee & $350 Pet registration fee were Non-refundable

Great, responsive staff. Apartments are well kept and modern inside. Quiet, quaint community. Grounds are well maintained year round. Maintenance are friendly and professional.

The office staff and maintenance team are very wonderful and extremely helpful. The apartments are great size for a small family. We love it here

I've lived at Village Green for over a year now and am very pleased. The location is convenient, the office staff and maintenance are very responsive and the apartments are spacious (terrific closet space!). The fitness room was recently renovated and it's great!
Spacious bright and cheerful apartments! Office staff is VERY friendly and helpful! I gage nothing negative to add! I'm glad I chose this as my new home.
