Property Ratings at Village at Gateway
i would give 0 stars if i had the option to. the place is not bad but it is the worst mangement i have ever come across. unprofessional, rude, mean, and lazy. the first year we lived here our unit became infestied with roachs after countless requests for pestcontrol and months of waiting finally somebody came. they atempted to evict us on numerous occasions and fined us for late payments even though we always payed out rent early, and when we brought this to there attention they gaslit us by saying we never payed and showed us incurrect payment statments and refused to look at receipts showing we were on time. our hot water was cut after they didnt pay the gas bill (it is their responsibility to pay for it). our floorboards have been broken since the day we moved in. there has been water leaking from the floorboards, we have brought this to there attention and they have yet to do anything, more people are moving out then moving in, think twice before moving in.
Bad management. I've never wanted out of a lease more
The team is high energy and about service. I appreciate the follow-up and follow-through. The units, location. and the additional amenities make this one to consider!
The homes are built with quality products and appliances. You can see the details from the front door to the stainless steel handles on the cabinets. The property manager Allen is very attentive and provides superb customer service. His communication style makes you feel like you've been knowing him forever. I would recommend this property to my family and friends due to the quality of the homes, amenities, and Allen's warm and inviting personality. -Tabia
The recent winter storms brought on an onslaught of several residents’ pipes freezing and other associated issues, which were met with passive aggressive emails from management as they were apparently frustrated due to residents contacting them with questions. What I have found is that in the winter and summer, electricity bills tend to be higher as insulation is non-existent coupled with the high ceilings that they flaunt as ‘vaulted.’ Maintenance is decent, though understaffed, and apparently overwhelmed by the flood of service requests, as when you submit a request, never expect a timely response. It usually takes days for them to respond if not a week. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for that perfect rental property because if you are looking for this one as an option, looks can definitely be deceiving. Oh, and don’t get me on the train that comes at the most inopportune times.
Everything from the staff to my home is excellent! I have my own garage attached to my home. Perfect when it is pouring down rain. Can’t wait for the clubhouse to be finished! My lease is coming up to renew and they can count me in!
Your electricity bill will always be high since this place was poorly insulated and built.
They pretty much just threw this place up in a hurry. Your place will not be clean on your move in date and there will be a lot of things that will still need to be fixed. I am still having problems with my unit. I highly suggest you do a walk through of your unit before you sign the lease, BE SMARTER than me. The tile work in the bathroom is terrible and the doors for the bath room have to much space meaning when i close my door someone in the kitchen can clearly see me in the bathroom through the space. The flooring throughout is terrible and their communication skills are too. The only thing i like about this place is the garage, and i will miss it when i move out at the end of my lease.

This place is awesome. The apartments are more like town homes. The management & staff are great. Miss Lauren is always friendly & professional, Mark & Alfredo are always prompt when sending in a service request. I have a 1 bedroom with a garage & it's very roomy & a well laid out floor plan. So glad I moved here.
Didn't inform anyone that unit would be unavailable for move in date until week before. Blames construction but doesn't seem to be communicating with team as to what is supposed to be done. Should probably stop preleasing if the construction isn't on schedule and lease like a traditional apartment complex
