Villa Del Rio Apartments

It is 2:37 am and I am writing this review. I can’t sleep because of the very loud music in the parking lot. My 4 year old daughter got scared because of the loud music and woke up this midnight. It is happening here many times. The management is very poor. In addition to this, laundry area is worse and dirty and most of the time machines are not working. They don’t clean the stair ways for weeks and sometimes even for months. Lack of enough parking spaces is another issue. Most of the mornings and evenings the parking lots are too disgusting since people throw a lot of garbage there. It’s getting costly here, but they are not well managed and don’t have good services. Lots of complaints about roaches and rats from neighbors. Just sick of this place and will leave it soon.

The outside of the apartments look old and worn out. The pools seem nice. There is terrible parking. You cant get a satellite mounted on the roof, so get Comcast. Not all WiFi companies can give a connection here. The inside of the apartments look and feel great. Great stove/oven. The dish washer is great. Only problem inside is that it is really easy to get roaches. I seen four roaches the day I was moving in, but none since then.

The rent price and size of apartment is good. The parking sucks with LIMITED guest parking and they only assign 1 parking stall for each family which is a hassle for having 2 people with cars. I don't like being so close on a major street, I hear every single car. It takes hours to cool the apartment doen because of all the cracks in the doors and windows. The flooring is completely tile except for the rooms which isn't a good idea. The master bathroom is tiny compared to guest bathroom. Roaches !!! Cannot get rid of them.

I live at Villa Del Rio in a two bedroom/two bath apartment for going on two years. The management is very kind and is attentative to all my needs. They are on top of all their managerial duties and will answer my request to fix anything including a flooded toilet within the hour. They're has been a bug problem during our entire lease, but again, management calls for pest control every week. I simply have to request pest control to come to my apartment. The parking in the complex is very poor. There are not enough parking spaces and a tow truck comes every night to tow. There has been police cars and gun violence in and around this apartment complex. There are also a lot of children that play outside which shows the managements efforts to clean up the place & its residents. I appreciate the managers efforts. Overall, Villa Del Rio was a great place for me and my sibling to live. We shared an apartment and saved us a bunch of money over the past few years. I would love here again!

Management is in constant turnover and routinely send out erroneous pay or quit notices due to mismanaged files. Complex upkeep is fair on the outside, but the apartment themselves are failing apart. The area is decent and close to major freeways as well as restaurants and stores.

This place sucks, built over 50 years ago and shows it's age. Has the beautiful #2 colored paint which suits it well. In a total state of disrepair and lack of qualified maintenance good luck when things go wrong. Rats and roaches are regularly a problem. Renters BEWARE!! Don't rent here!
