Property Ratings at Villa Del Mar Apartments
Ashley has been great to work with! Their insurance you can get with your lease doesn't cover "vandalism" to your car even when parked in your assigned spot nor are they willing to look at footage from camera to see if you can identify the person vandalizing your car. That cost me $229.00 plus there is another $300-400 dollars worth in window damage I'm not even going to get fixed because I can't afford it. Then there is the mold spore situation that I'm highly allergic to and spent $300.00 for testing because I immediately got sick upon moving in. Mold is also not covered in your insurance if you get it through them. Even when it's here when you moved in. They come see that it's dry but that does not stop mold growth I hate to tell them. If you seek "quiet" stay away from the units on Frederick's Street. people LOVE slamming these gates when they go through and believe me they are traveled through A LOT!!! If you are at all noise sensitive or prefer a little quiet don't move to this section! Noise all the time,it's like a thoroughfare. Cars w/ radios blasting all hours, motorcycles with their loud motors in and out late at night and foot traffic in and out of the gates slamming them shut constantly.
I rented a 2 bedroom and the apartment itself is great! Lots of room, nice carpet, large windows, but the walls are thinnish so I could hear a lot of what my neighbors do. The leasing office was less than great. The people that work there were nice enough but the rent bill would often be late and/or inaccurate.
This apartment was great for just starting out, except the sink was outside the bathroom, the pool was not that great/usable, and there was no indoor lighting fixtures. Other than that this was a great apartment complex to live at. They left residents alone. Parking could have been better.
nice & ok, mostly quiet. close to most things like shopping, restaurants, schools, 5 & 78 fwys, & hwy 76
