Verandahs at Hunt Club

We have had issues with the management team ever since my friend and I had moved into this apartment complex of last year. I have waited patiently to write up a good review but unfortunately for them that's just not going to happen. They hardly ever pick up their phones and despises you if you repeatedly call them for information and work needed. The repeated phone calls are there because they do not do what they have said they will.

This property is amazing! The office staff is always so friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff comes very quickly to address any concerns and they all always wave when you drive by. They just had a summer scavenger hunt around the property and my son loved it and won a prize. It is also kept very clean. We love living here.

My motorcycle was stolen within the first month of living here. Months later I had a license plate stolen. The officer that responded to one of these calls said the neighborhood is known for crime. There is a homeless camp in the adjacent woods with a bunch of women’s purses and their contents strewn about and needles/beer bottles. You pay extra for a “gated community”, but clearly the gate is just something that breaks often and is annoying. Two of the ladies at the front office are incredibly rude, Ericka will cut you off mid-sentence and even get mad at you for calling in maintenance issues at times that aren’t convenient for them (I’m not joking). The “Soothing Spa or Hot Tub” by the pool has never worked. When I called asking why I didn’t get a copy of the notice to move out form 60 days before my lease was up (like every other apartment) I was told they do not give these out. The very next day I got a text form another office employee (Katie, who is the only competent professional there btw) stating “Hi, you should have received your 1st notification about your lease expiring. I wanted to follow up with you on your decision…”. Oops. No doubt they didn’t send it out purely to rack up the $40 per day fee for every day after the 60th you don’t fill that out. Also, the online rent payment program is often down, but they still try to charge you for late payments Lots of water damage simply painted over, drywall anchors left in walls and painted over (even though I am sure they charged the prior residents for the repair at $25 a wall). The pest control tech was able to make a hole in a window frame with his hand because the wood is so rotten (this hole was reported but never repaired). Overspray everywhere, all of which the office refused to fix because it is “just aesthetics”. My a/c would never go below 80 degrees if it was above 90 outside, which obviously happens often and ran non-stop racking up $250 electric bills. The front office had it looked at and determined it was operating “within spec” and never did anything about it. Had to spend several hundred dollars on a window ac unit just so I could sleep at night. A small water leak at a window turned into a major one and despite several calls and promises of getting it repaired it took EIGHT MONTHS (reported 7/4/17, repaired 3/18) and a call to the managing company to get it repaired. Leave a glass of WATER out overnight and it will have 40 ants in it by morning.

Verandah's at the Hunt Club is a great location to our GAA school and the Staff did a great job in Welcoming us on Move In day! They also fixed all the identified issues immediately. Thanks again and we look forward to our stay!

The staff in very courteous and reliable. The neighborhood is very quiet and good to live. Near to everything the best location in this area and the best schools.

I have spoken with two different ladies from the office and even while they were sick with bronchitis this is the best attitude and most reliable staff I have ever met. Positive attitude and great demeanor are hard enough to come by these days, let alone while people are working with coughs and colds. You have a great staff.

We have lived at The Verandahs for over 10 years and we absolutely love it here! We even relocated to a upgraded apartment in a different area of the complex and really just love it! The staff weather it be maintenance or the leasing team in the office are always very awesome to work with. The community in itself is nice and the grounds are always kept neat. Its walking distance to food and shopping which is also great! Schools in the area are all A schools. I totally recommend this property to anyone.

I moved into The Verandahs about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It's very quiet and has an almost neighborhood-like feel. My old apartment complex was loud and the neighbors were unfriendly, but this place is just the opposite. The office staff is nice and efficient, the gym is great, and there's plenty of parking (also a big problem at my last place). I would absolutely recommend The Verandahs to anyone looking for a quiet neighborhood to call home.

The management staff is absolutely wonderful. No matter how small or large the request they are always there to make sure things are handled in a positive and professional manner.

I love The Verandahs they have such a peaceful community. The updated models are beautiful with amazing closet space. The office staff is amazing and helpful with everything that I needed as well as maintaince staff. It’s conveniently located to major shopping and major roads. I highly recommend living in The Verandahs!

I have lived here for over 3 years now and enjoy coming home every day. It is a small, safe community on a lake with very large units. The updated units are crisp and inviting. The closet space is amazing! Whenever I need any maintenance, I complete the online request and it is taken care of within a few days. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I also like that it is convenient to local grocery stores and restaurants. Another great thing is they are dog friendly too. I feel relaxed and at home watching the beautiful wildlife while sitting on my lakefront porch. I’m happy to call the Verandahs my home!

This unit is located on a huge lake and seconds away from a park, great for hiking and dog walks! Several restaurants, stores, and shops are within steps. These apartments have more square feet than any others in the are for the price. Also, malls, downtown, and tourist attractions are only 15 to 20 minutes away. This place is truly a great mix of being close to the city and still have room/piece of mind like the suburbs.

I have not actually lived here YET, But I know at least 5 "families" of different sizes whom have. They told me and what I see on the website is just phenomenal for the money. I recently lost my husband from cancer in Feb. and find myself getting ready to sell my house, it is way too big for my dog and myself. I can't wait to get to a community and an apartment that is all mine. Being only 53, I am not looking for old and stuffy or young and party but somewhere in the middle and everyone I have talked to has said the same thing...."my expectations will be met or exceeded". Thank you. I can't wait to (hopefully) start my new life at Verandahs at Hunt Club.

The Verandahs at Hunt Club is a quaint and peaceful community. It is moderately priced and includes amenities such as trash valet, year round pool, lighted tennis court, play ground and gym. The complex is over 20 years old so there are starting to be some issues however they are being addressed. When it comes to the smaller things like broken doors and light switches, you will definitely face a 2 to 3 month wait. The community is relatively small and a great place for any age group to feel welcome. The Verandahs is conveniently located to shopping and major roads with easy access to I4 and 429. I love this place.

My one bedroom apartment has closet space and rooms that I do not even use. It makes me want to go out and buy more clothes just so I can use is availability. I have no complaints regarding my choice for choosing this property.

I have been in my apartment for 3 years now. I have nothing bad to say about anything! I need something fixed I send in the request on the computer its done in a timely fashion! It a pretty quite neighborhood! No problems here!!!
