      Overall Valley View Townes is a nice place to live. It sits in the beautiful small town and not to far from the malls, shopping centers etc. I have been here since the homes were first being rented out, my family and I were the first residents in our unit. I have seen a dramatic decline in the quality here due to the rotation of new tenants. The overall problem is THE TEENAGERS , not all of them but a huge amount have become a problem. They leave trash all over the property, disrespect your personal space, curse and the list goes on. In my opinion they are bringing the value down, and although I don't have a problem with management here, it seems thee parents of these teens have no control regardless of threats or fines from the property. Last week a teenager came on my porch and looked inside the window of my backdoor, When we made eye contact, he ran.

      I would recommend moving here if you like to hand wash your dishes.

      So I was sold moving here based on the walking trail , the smart home features and the small community feel. Overall, it's a really nice clean community. Things that could be improved: My dishwasher has been out for at least six months and there's no sense of urgency from management to fix it. There are several other homes with broken dishwashers too. There's no updates about the issue either. I also moved here to have a working dishwasher to free up some of my time from housework. The streetlights to enter the community are out and has been for at least six months as well..I called to get a work order put in from Duke Energy and was told it's not a maintenance issues it's a payment issue.

      Cheap construction at premium cost

      After almost two years of living here, the poor construction and planning for this development becomes more and more apparent every day. It took 6 months of complaining about my dishwasher not working until it was finally replaced. The cost of living here mixed with all the issues has been frustrating. I can't wait until my lease is up and I'm out of here

      It's unfortunate when construction and maintenance do not meet expectations, leading to dissatisfaction. It's important for residents to feel that they are getting value for their investment.       This has been the most frustrating experience I've had in a long time. My lease started on May 3. Most of my experience so far has been very negative, and I would not recommend Valley View Townes to anyone. I do not see myself renewing my lease once the year is up.

      No help with ongoing disturbance issue

      My family moved to Valley View Townes at the end of Jan 2023. The first few weeks were amazing the townhomes are lovely, great kid-friendly neighborhood. Unfortunately, after about two-three weeks we have had constant disturbances from the neighbor. Domestic issues have required local law enforcement to come out multiple times. My husband and I both went to the office managers after the first incident to report the issue. As the mother of two daughters, I will not tolerate my children being exposed to constant Dometic Violence. I do not feel safe in my home. Over the past few months, we have made multiple reports to management and requested at the least to be moved to a different unit. We are told by management that they are addressing the situation with upper management and that we just need to email them every time there is a disturbance. Nothing has been done to try and resolve the issue or even address the issue with the neighbors. I think with issues such as this there should be more done and a little faster pace. It is unfair to my family to have to be exposed and worry about what the next incident may escalate to.
