The largest city in North Dakota, Fargo rests on the North Dakota-Minnesota border and the western banks of the Red River. However, Fargo residents affectionately refer to their location as “North of Normal.”
You might find that Fargo is a bit different when you stop by the Fargo-Moorhead Visitor Center and see the woodchipper from the movie Fargo. Maybe it’ll be when you start spotting members of the colorful herd of bison painted by various artists scattered all around town, and rightfully decide to go on a scavenger hunt to find them all. Perhaps you’ll find it unique that Wurst Bier Hall serves a rattlesnake rabbit bratwurst and indulge your curiosity. You’ll notice that North of Normal is a pretty interesting place to be.
There’s no shortage of things to do in Fargo. Plains Art Museum and Rourke Art Gallery and Museum offer residents and visitors endless opportunities to admire art with all kinds of rotating exhibits.

Property Ratings at Urban Plains
They locked us out of our garages last week in an attempt to increase security to prevent garage break-ins. Some of the garage units are 6 garage stalls side by side with a shared hallway. There are 3 entrances into the hallways, one on both ends and one in the middle. These have always been unlocked. We use our own keys to access our individual stalls. The handles were changed to those that remain locked last week without anyone informing the residents who have those garage stalls. People were locked out of their garages (and vehicles) for work. Not impressive. They'll help you with accepting your packages at the main office when someone is stealing them at your apt. I appreciate that. But don't expect help with things like pot smoke or pets in your not-pet-friendly building or a resident that keeps opening main area windows even when the air quality outside is in the unhealthy category.

We were being proactive in trying to provide an extra level of security to gain access to the attached garages. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication when this task was completed. As soon as we found out about the problem, we reached out to the affected residents and made sure that they got keys so that they could access their garages.
I know there has been a fair amount of turn over in my time at Urbain Plains, but even with the constant changes, everyone is always very friendly and willing to help. Any time I submit a maintenance request they are on top of it too! We have really been satisfied here the last few years.

Urban plains has been a great overall place to live. Very clean and up to date.
I am new to Urban Plains Community. So far everything has gone very well. The staff have all been very pleasant and attentive to questions/needs. Pleased with the layout of the two-bedroom units. Ample storage throughout, including the kitchen and laundry room. Nice sized rooms, especially bathrooms and closets. Close to a variety of shopping and dining options. Parking has been easily assessable.
The location is awesome. The building has good amenities. There is almost always parking for me and guests.
Great, spacious apartments with in-unit washers and dryers, modern appliances, large windows allowing a lot of sunlight indoors. Garages are also included and are a good size as well. Located right near the Sanford hospital, Costco, and I-94, it's centrally located between Fargo and West Fargo, and nothing is too far away.
Everything has been good so far. If a problem happens they are good about fixing it.
Just moved to Fargo and already feel at home. The apartments are large and have beautiful layouts as well as being in great condition. The move in process was super easy and people have been friendly! Very excited for our time here.
Moved in since February and haven’t had any issues with appliances. Very pet friendly, especially if you have a dog with the open field if your dog wants to play. Nice accessible garbage on the side of building to avoid storms as best as possible as my apartment is located by that garage. I just came from a horrendous living experience with horrible management, this has been a MASSVIE upgrade. My wife and I lived in 4 different places since 2015, this place has been nothing short of a desirable place to live.
Make sure you look at the apartment really closely before signing the lease. Mine is pretty beat up and quite a few things weren’t working properly when I moved in.

Urban plains is a beautiful place where you can feel at home. The apartment size and layout is so impressive. The environment is so clean and a beautiful park by the side. A gym open 24/7. The staff are so professional and timely. I'm enjoying my stay at Urban plains apartment, I would recommend Urban plain apartment to anyone looking for a beautiful apartment with a peaceful environment. Terry west helped me and my wife through the application process, we had a wonderful experience working with her.

Communication between office staff members is non-existent, their communication with potential and existing tenants isn't any better. The application to move-in process was a nightmare. I had to initiate every instance of contact, from being told I was approved, scheduling move in, etc. Move-in was rushed. They try to get new tenants in as quickly as possible, leaving themselves no time to clean or do necessary maintenance. My apartment either had not been cleaned at all or not well prior to move in day, as there was dust CAKED and hanging from the ceiling fan. As an existing tenant, good luck getting a hold of anyone in the office by phone. Expect to call multiple times, or dare to leave a message that they'll hopefully get to days later. They fail to remove snow from the lots in a timely manner, and the lot is overall neglected throughout the winter. Snow removal would sometimes take over 48 hours after heavy snows. Snow drifts would block entrances. Ice would build up on the lots making walking across them dangerous. I missed more work than any of my coworkers, who also live in apartments, due to the snow removal not being done. The buildings are not pet friendly, but on multiple occasions people's pets defecated in the hallways and entryways and be left there. If you're on a second or first floor beware of people's dogs relieving themselves on the balconies above you, because this does happen. People do not clean up after their dogs, especially not in the winter, so in addition to being icy the walkways will be surrounded with excrement. The advertise that there are cameras in the entryways, but after reporting to the office that someone's dog had voided it's bowels in the entryway with a time frame they told me all they could do was put notes on people's doors. I highly doubt these cameras exist after being told that.
Management will ignore you as long as they can. Withholding rent was the only way I could get them to complete a basic task.
If you're looking for a place where management doesn't care about you or the conditions of their properties these overpriced apartments are for you!
Urban Plains community is a quiet place to call home. It is close to interstate connections and is an ideal location!
When I first moved to Bluestem Court. It was so beautiful and clean. Being over here as long as i have been. The neighbors over here doesn't seem to care about how the environment look. No respect and consideration for our community.
Overall great community to live in and very convenient area to live in the Fargo area.
Great place to live, updated apartments, quiet and peaceful as well
I enjoy it very much here. My neighbors are wonder. People have there own opinion on these places but I feel as they work as hard as they can. Thank you to goldmark for meeting my needs when needed I appreciate it.
Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is very spacious with a large kitchen, bathrooms, and closets. So far, the community has been quiet and clean. The apartment is conveniently located near many shops and major roads, yet far enough to avoid traffic and create a sense of privacy. The staff was very responsive to phone calls and emails during the application and leasing process. My only complaint is that there are several machines in the fitness center that are out-of-order and appear to have been in need of service since September. Overall, I believe that the apartment is a great value for the cost.
I would have to say that my building has alot of good hardworking people. Friendly/helpful when meet in entryway and if have an issue is usually solved within a few days. Would have to say is a pretty well kept building.
Urban Plains has so far been a great place to live, the apartment is nice and spacious. The property is fairly quiet and not too busy.
I recently relocated here from Texas while spending time living in a hotel and vibing in the city with locals. I would hear negative things about Goldmark. I'm glad I made my decision from my heart and not the voices of others. Urban Plains fits everyone needs rather your a millennium or older citizen. You will ejoy your peaceful relaxation home in a prime location. A real nice size square footage home with amazing amenities. Very secure well as clean and modernized perfection of beauty! Beautiful stainless steel appliances drape with beautiful cabinetry along with a huge island that can handle a nice size family. You have so much kitchen and living room space. Your definitely be the host of the family gatherings. Wash room is so spacious definitely a plus when you doing laundry. If your shopper like me than the walk in closet and bonus space will give vibes of joy of not feeling so cramp with limited space. Patio view is nice well a nice entry to your beautiful home. If you're looking to stay or get in shape the free fitness room is where to be. They also offer you a remote garage to keep your pride and joy vehicle from the winter trenches of North Dakota. O yeah speaking of shopping you never have worry about pirates getting packages Urban Plains offers you the best packaging delivery. Overall I I been pleased with my decision of Living in this wonderful community called Urband Plains. I hope to see you soon as a new neighbor.

I have found living in this apartment of Urban Plains to be an overall good experiance. The nieghbors around me in this complex are friendly and helpful. My only negative comment is not aimed at the staff as they do a wonderful job, but a comment about tennants who throw trash in parking lot or main entrance where mail is gotten and never pick anything up. Staff and those of us who care try to keep things as nice looking as possible. but sometimes wind and weather don';t cooperate.
Community appears clean, and it's quieter than what I expected also. The furnished unit was just what I needed! It's nice to have a peaceful home away from home that's still in the city!

Urban Plains has been amazing. Maintenance and management has been very responsive, if they don't call you right away you can expect a call back. The apartments themselves are very good on the interior and exterior. Community is also nice. You can tell that Urban Plains has put effort and time into their apartments and I appreciate it.
Is a nice, mostly quiet area. Surroundings are well kept and staff is both helpful and accomodating whenever possible. Maintenance people are quite helpful in my experiance with them. Only negative check is how some residents don';t seem to know what a garbage can is for and also how to clean up after spilling in hallways which can give them a dirty unkempt look. Susan .

Nice apartments and most of the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, you will have to wait a long time for maintenance and snow removal.
It's just a better deal than what you get out of a lot of these new apartment complexes. The balcony is big, the cabinet space in the kitchen is big, the living room is big. The only space issues I found in a one bedroom was that the bedroom was a bit small when you're trying to put a full size mattress and a dresser in there, but that's pretty minor. In unit washing and drying is huge. The elevator and wide hallways made moving in fairly smooth as well, so I'm overall quite happy with it so far.
I continue to be very happy living at Urban Plains.
I was very happy with the speed at which they got back to me. I was not expecting someone until the next day, so it was very nice how quick they got there. Maintenance man was very nice and respectful of my apartment.
Urban plains is a great environment. The staff is there to help and instantly does what they need to do. They are extremely communicative with what they need and get back to you fairly quick with issues you have. The people who live there is helpful and friendly too!
I love living here, because this place provided so many service, inside the apartment and nearby, shopping area, sports activities etc.
