The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Universal Pointe Apartments
They made moving in simple as can be. Straight forward no waiting around for responses. They helped everywhere they could, and made me feel comfortable with my decision.
Moving out for the first time, I was skeptic how the whole process was going to go. Paola from the front desk made it an absolute breeze! Besides having such a positive and energetic attitude, she was very thorough with her explanation of things and was able to answer all of our questions. The place itself is kept very clean, and from what I can tell, the rest of the management staff are consistently making changes to keep the place updated. Definitely recommend giving this place a chance if you're looking to move anytime soon.
Paola at the front desk helped us through the whole experience. She made the application and move-in process so smooth and easy, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The complex is really nice and also affordable. Recommend for sure.
Recently viewed the apartment and knew I wanted to be there. The management were more than helpful in my concerns and general questions as a first time leaser. Super happy to have found this spot with such good people!
Just secured a spot at this place and couldn’t be happier. The staff has great customer service and just made he whole process easy and pain free. Finding and moving somewhere has never been this easy. I would recommend anyone to come here.
Took a tour of a studio that was available, and I was amazed. The manager was helpful and so professional. Hands down one of the best apartment tours I’ve ever received. I saw the entire complex and everything they offered, it’s so clean and beautiful. I’m excited to live here, moving in later this month! Definitely recommend!
Visited them today about a vacancy and they were extremely friendly and professional. Gave me a great tour of their amenities. I ended up signing up with them will be moving in this August. Highly recommend them.
Hard to find an affordable place with parking. This place throws in a pool, jacuzzi and gym in a gated community. The staff was great at showing me all their available units and even those they were working on. They even helped he out during their lunch break.
The staff at Unviversal Pointe Apartments made me feel comfortable with the decision to live here. The answered all my questions and took care of me.
They were so helpful and considerate when it came to any questions i had. The aparments are nice and the pool area is beautiful. They gave me a chance to have a beautiful apartment i can call my own.
My girlfriend and I cannot say enough about the high quality of management we've experienced thus far! Javier and his staff have been extremely efficient and professional and have answered any and all questions we have asked. The leasing process was effortless and made a potentially stressful process very, very easy. The complex itself is in great condition, very well-kept, and the same can be said about the apartment! We love our new place, and plan on staying for as long as possible.
Me and my boyfriend moved in a week ago. Super cute apartments. The application and leasing process was so easy and the staff was very kind. We plan on staying here for a long time! Rent controlled!!!
Recently moved in... Management has been great. Javier has been so helpful and is always available when needed. Place is nice and clean. maintenance is always on point! Havent had a problem since our moved. Very pleased.
We’ve been here for almost 5 years and have been thru several management changes. I can happily say that it has improved a lot! Regarding a previous review about management not allowing your kids to play outside is a LIE!!! Management allows all kids to play outside, but you have the occasional “parents” that stay home watching soaps and not caring for their kids. Management can only do so much an deal with tenants kids, not their job. And other tenants have to live with them running around upstairs when they have plenty of room downstairs. People should take care of their kids. This is a nice place, but not all people know how to enjoy it. Raise your kids properly!
From my first tour to now living here, the property manager and associated staff were so helpful and really sold me on the apartment. The apartment is so spacious and it really feels like home. There is an amazing little rec center and pool, and it is very quiet. Every question and concern I have they have helped me with right away. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a place in NoHo, that is close to all the major attractions, this place is a great place to call home.
Do not rent an apartment here, the new manager is very strict, he lets you have plants, curtains and does not let the children go outside playing! he wants everyone to be inside their apartments! and there is also a plague of large cockroaches coming out of the bathroom. Too bad, we will move because the new manager sucks
Lived here for about 7 months now and I can say this is one of the nicest apartments I've stayed at. The manager on site Kelly is not only the sweetest person, but also the most helpful. Can't recommend enough!

I love my apartment. Kelly, our manager, is not only super sweet and competent but also really attentive—any time I have any sort of issue she resolves it on the spot. When I email her, she replies within the hour. Our maintenance man lives on site. The pool is nicely kept and we have a cute little fitness center and rec room that you can even reserve. I have not had any bug problems whatsoever, the other reviews are old and I believe they have fixed it, but I can’t speak for others. I feel safe here. Hope I can stay for a very long time.

I toured a few weeks ago. I LOVED UNIVERSAL POINTE. The place was real quiet and beautiful. The office staff welcomed us warmly. We were shown a really nice apartment. The building is older but seems really nicely kept. I really loved the open floor plan. I can't wait for football season and enjoying the games with my family in that apartment. The bathrooms were updated and I am already planning my decor. I can't wait to move in. When we were showed around I was ready to jump ion that pool. So clean and inviting. I can't wait for my first day off to read a good book beside that pool with a glass of tea.

Thank you our Leasing Team hope you are enjoying your new home.
This apartment is really top notch. Spacious walk-in closet, nice size kitchen with a large living room and bedroom area. It doesn't get any better. I am very excited I made the choice to calling Universal Pointe Studio my home. I would recommend anyone to make Universal Pointe Studio their home. :-)

Thank You we really appreciate your feed back on our property
It is not "carefree" living. A lot of noise. Kids are disrespectful. Rules are nonexistent. Management doesn't do their job. Nothing ever gets fixed. Pool gets crowded with kids all day every day during the summer time. Worst place to live!

We are sorry you were unhappy here, we wish you all the best.
The neighborhood may seem super sketch at first but it is not so bad. However, the apartment itself is bad, there is a major cockroach infestation. The apartment smells bad as far as walkways and the overall community. There is never any parking on the street. Overall, I guess you are paying for what you get.

We are sorry you had a bad experience here. Our Management team has had some changes since June 2017. It is our goal to find solutions. All of the corridor floors and walls are freshly painted as well as most common areas. Our apartment rent ready homes, have all been freshly textured and painted. Unfortunately we cannot solve the street parking, that is not under our control. We wish you the very best.
Looks like a great place to live except very busy traffic area.
The roach problem here is beyond unexplainable. Strongly suggest to look somewhere else! This place gives me nightmares!
My husband and I have been living here only 2 months and it's been...horrible to say the least. We had the roach problem fixed immediately because we kept bothering them about it until they did something. We don't see many anymore, but I see an occasional one every once in a while. For some reason they've come into our apartment to "inspect" who knows what about 4 times since we've moved in. They are never in their office. I don't even know how we caught them when we moved in. They say they don't allow animals unless its a therapy animal, but seems like everyone has a dog or cat. I doubt this many people have issues that require therapy animals, but I could be wrong. It doesn't seem fair how they are allowing certain people have them because I would love an animal. I suspect we specifically wouldn't be able to get away with having one....just a feeling I have based on some things. It is extremely noisy here. If you can't stand the sound of kids constantly screaming, running up ad down the stairs, and large groups of people always congregating outside talking, then avoid this place. It says in the lease that its supposed to be a quiet place but the people living here do not care. Anyway, if you think none of that would bother you then go ahead and try this place if you have no other options.

Thank you Lacie and Peter. With so many important features in an apartment it's hard to know where to compromise.
From outside appearances, this place looks perfectly adequate for a lower-rent place in the Valley. Outside areas are fairly well kept and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately this hides the fact that the place has a major, major cockroach infestation. My first night in the place, I hadn't even moved anything in yet but a bed and I was afraid the bugs were going to carry me away. No matter how clean you are, or how much you spray, they just keep coming in from other units or the structure itself. It's also impossible to get maintenance issues attended to in a timely fashion, and it's obvious they use low-rent handymen who do not do a professional job in fixing up the place. My unit has been falling apart since I moved in. Unless they get some professional contractors and exterminators, stay far away.
