Property Ratings at Union Flats
Good place with a lot of stray cats you can play with and feed. After moving, minor repairs needed and repairman came quickly (came in the next day). Met a bunch of good friends here. Also, the appliances here are good brands like Bosch and they are reliable. Interior design is modern and with a few plants, you will enjoy your days here.

Union Flats is horrible. Their staff is incredibly rude and always say that they are short staffed so they cannot handle any requests. They use any excuse to increase rent. They increased rent by 5% this year (the maximum legal amount) with no reasoning provided and pet rent by 8%. They are taking advantage of the poor housing situation in the area.

We loved living at Union Flats during the beginning of our lease, however, things changed once there was a staff change. Our move out experience was awful and very frustrating. There was no communication from any of the Union Flats staff leading up to the move out process or during. We had to reach out every time we had questions and follow up. When we did get a response, it seemed condescending and as though we were an inconvenience. We were shocked at the amount of charges we were given against our security deposit and it seems as though they nickel and dime you. As long as the lack of communication and the move out process doesn't improve, I would not recommend renting from Union Flats and I will never rent from them again.

Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful. They really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to ensure that everything is going smoothly for you. As far as the community itself, you really can't ask for more. It's safe, clean, well kept, and everything is new. The closet space is unreal. My walk in is like an entire extra room. The community is very quite. I've never had any issues with hearing my neighbors. My bedroom window faces the parking lot so I do hear cars but I have a sound machine for night time and I sleep like a baby. There is absolutely no issue with parking. Also, the roads and walkways get cleared right away when it snows. The maintenance guys are great. I put in a request for a leaking faucet and they were at my apartment in about an hour. The location is a short distance from the city it takes about 10 minutes to get to Harrisburg and is right in the middle of all the shopping grocery stores. Very glad I chose to live here
There's so much I could say about how much we love living at Union Flats. The apartments have an open floorplan with lots of modern touches. There are a lot of top-notch amenities (clubhouse, pool, firepit, fitness center, business center, dog park, playground, and social events throughout the year). The staff are friendly and responsive. It's a pet friendly community. Everything is well taken care of. It's in a great location, close to everything yet it feels like it's off the beaten path.

I have been so impressed with my housing and the staff at Union Flats since I moved in 3 months ago. The apartment is beautiful and modern, and all appliances and fixtures are of high quality. I have had zero issues with noise from neighboring apartments, which is unique among every other place I have previously lived. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with answering any questions. Every request or concern I have had has been addressed and resolved promptly. Amenities are great as well and kept in amazing condition for resident use. I truly can't think of anything negative to mention in this review. I am so happy I found this place when I relocated for my job
Brand new community! Safe, clean, dog friendly with onsite dog park. They even have a secure place within your building for your packages. The staff are wonderful - helpful, friendly, attentive and efficient. The community of tenants seem to be wonderful. Everybody is respectful and polite. The location of the community is perfect. I can't think of any complaints whatsoever. By far, one of the best places to rent in the local area! I would highly recommend this community to anyone.
I moved into Union Flats with my girlfriend, and our cat, rats, and guinea pigs at the end of May 2018. The apartments, facilities, and amenities are all top notch. It is so refreshing to have a pool, workout area, and a common place to utilize during the week and weekends. The ascetics inside and outside the apartments are awesome and functional. In addition, pets certainly are made to feel comfortable and welcome as well. It certainly feels as though all people in this community enjoy talking, sharing life stories, and feeling at home at the end of a long work day or week.

I love living in Union Flats! My boyfriend and I moved in together from a place that I had in the borough. We could hear EVERYTHING and the neighbor I had there (it was duplex) complained about EVERY noise she could hear. It is so refreshing to be able to do laundry past 9 p.m., which as a funeral director with a hectic schedule is amazing!! Everyone here is so friendly and I love that they are so very pet friendly. When I mentioned that we have guinea pigs and rats, they were awesome about it. I love coming home from work and seeing fellow residents walking their dogs, it's such a change of pace for me coming from a place that not welcoming of pets at all. I highly recommend Union Flats to anyone who is looking for a modern upgrade and a welcoming environment.
I've lived at Union Flats in Mechanicsburg, Pa for about a year. It has a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Very open layout with a friendly, livable atmosphere. The staff does a great job of keeping you informed and keeping up with all the amenities. The outside dog park, pool, playground, and fire pit are nice additions. It would be nice to have a seating area outside away from the pool. Maintenance does a fantastic job of getting the orders done promptly and a great job of keeping the main hallways clean. You do hear a lot of noise from outside, and there is quite a draft from the windows. However, the inside of the building if not terrible on the noise level, you really only hear noise from those in the hallway. The doors to the units do a decent job of keeping out the other smells i.e., cooking. The AC unit is very loud in the living room area. The price is worth what you are getting. Overall though, it is an inviting place that has a modern feel and you are able to make it feel like home.
Living here is a total blast, and I look forward to coming home everyday.
As a new resident, Union Flats has been an enjoyable place to live thus far. I cannot be happier with having Union Flats as my first apartment because of several reasons. First, it is in close proximity of the Carlisle Pike and major highways. Second, the apartment complex is very safe and they do not allow anyone to get into the apartment buildings or amenities (pool, gym, clubhouse, etc.) without having a key fob. Also, the staff and other tenants within the apartment complex are friendly and helpful. There is never a problem with parking and they make certain that he overall appearance is well maintained and clean each week. Not to mention, the apartment itself has all brand new appliances and the layout if spacious, which is great when having people over.
This is by far the nicest apartment complex in this area. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

This Brand new apartment complex is a great place for living in greater Harrisburg area which is closer to shopping, work places, schools and major high ways. This complex has very good amenities such as clubhouse, Business center (available 24X7), salt water swimming pool, well equipped fitness center and fire pit. This place just makes you feel like staying in a luxurious vacation homes. Staff is very nice and very attentive and easily approachable in terms of leasing and repairs. This complex has plenty parking spots available which will be helpful when guests try to park their cars.
We have lived here since March 2018 and are truly looking forward to our years here at this property. We have lived for several different realtors over the past few years, and no property compares to Union Flats. The staff is wonderful and responsive, the property is gorgeous, the apartments are so spacious, and we love how pet-friendly they are. This is truly a great place to live, you will not regret it.
Union Flats is a beautiful new apartment building close to the Carlisle Pike and major highways. The amenities are fabulous: pool, lounge, business center, workout room etc. The apartments are luxurious and spacious with brand new appliances, hardwood floors, washer/dryer in apartment. People here are very friendly and the leasing staff are amazing who go out of their way to help you! They also organize resident parties from time to time, so you can get to know your neighbors. It's a great place to live!

The apartment complex is brand new, the appliances are up to date and high quality. There are granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. I have lived in other apartment complexes but this by far the nicest and I feel with the security it provides I also feel more safer. The complex is in a great location, it is close to the Carlisle Pike which has endless amounts of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. When there is a maintenance issue Cameron is right on top of it getting it fixed. You couldn’t ask for quicker service Perry and the ladies in the leasing office are superb They help in anyway they can, they are super nice and they truly care about their residents. I am very happy I decided to make Union flats my home
This is a brand new apartment complex that is very near to the Carlisle pike. It has great amenities like the clubhouse, pool, gym etc. The staff here is the best. The only issue i have is with the building construction. You can hear neighbors walking easily. Apart from that, it is a nice place to go to.
Recently out of college and I found my perfect home away from home. Excellent fitness facility and pool area where you meet friendly faces. From retired to just starting their careers, everyone is pleasant and happy. The staff has the upmost respect for all their residents and are quick to help in any way they can. In terms of apartment, I don't know what I'd change. It comes with a huge kitchen with lots of storage, in unit washer and dryer, and spacious bedrooms. It's all brand new, kept well and you feel safe and cozy as soon as you enter the community driveway. Very happy to have found this place.
I moved here for a temporary work assignment, originally from Minnesota, and Union Flats could not have done a better job at making me feel right at home. Their service and amenities are incredible, and the location is really good as well. The friendliness of the staff and neighbors is the winning factor for this place. I have been living here for a little over a month. I have a one bedroom and I find that it is perfect for my needs. For a one bedroom apartment there is ample storage, and the walk in closet is huge.The location of Union Flats is convenient to all of life's needs but is located far enough away from the main road so that you don't hear the traffic. The fitness center is open all of the time and I'm able to access it whenever I like. The staff is wonderful. They will assist you in finding an apartment that you love.
I have lived here for a little over three months now. I am very happy with my decision to move here. The buildings are secure, there is very little foot traffic through the building, and even if there was, I wouldn't hear it because the walls are very thick. The apartment is well made and the kitchen is my favorite. The countertops offer a lot of space and make it a joy to cook. I would really recommend checking out this apartment for your next choice, and if you decide to come, you will not be disappointed.
This is the best apartment I've ever lived in. The insulation is great, water pressure, outlet placing etc.. Everything was well thought out when they built the place. My only complaint is that the air conditioning too loud when it kicks on, but if you turn up the TV a little, it usually is fine. Appliances are beautiful and top quality. Super easy to keep clean. Really a quiet place to live, and the residents are super friendly. Summer by the pool is relaxing, and the gym is never packed. Occasionally you hear dogs barking, but it is a pet friendly community so that is perfectly okay with me.

I would highly recommend Union Flats to anyone. After 6 weeks, I can honestly say I have really enjoyed my stay here. Everything from professional and helpful staff to modern apartment units is truly exceptional. I can't say enough good things about this place.
We have lived here since February, 2017 and love it. All the amenities are just what anyone would need .The island in the kitchen is beautiful, full size laundry facilities in each apartment is wonderful. The pool, fitness center, clubhouse and fire pit are amazing. The staff is fantastic, Stephanie, Perry, Cameron and Maria are there for anything anyone would need. They are the best! It is close to everything, wonderful school district and our community is very quiet. You couldn't ask for anything better!
I absolutely love living here. The community is well maintained by the maintenance staff and the office staff is always friendly and ready to help. I relocated here from out of state for work and Stephanie made the application and move-in process painless. The community is safe and quiet and the residents are friendly. There is a nice size dog park with toys and water for my fur baby. I really enjoy calling Union Flats my home.
The apartments are beautiful, the location is perfect, the amenities are amazing but above all the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’ve lived in a number of apartment communities and I have never felt more comfortable than I do here. I truly feel like I moved home, not just another apartment. Thank you Steph for all that you do!
Seeing how management cares for the property and its tenants, they clearing take pride in their work. Starting with the initial tour, through the application process, to well beyond moving in, management has been nothing but enthusiastic and helpful. I haven't lived in such a great place before and I doubt I'll find such a place in the future
Polite, courteous, and accommodating staff. I’m unsure how they’re so adept at memorizing names. Moving is much easier than expected.
My overall experience has been phenomenal. The girls in the front office are fantastic, and any time I need something, they're there to help. They're still putting up the last four buildings, so we will have to see how crowded it becomes after that. I'm sure next summer will be not as great as this one with regards to the grills and the pool, because there will be a massive amenity to person ratio, but hopefully I will still be able to get in the gym at that point. May have to go down the road to LA fitness. Kitchen floors scuff very easily, and I noticed dents and nicks in them after the first few days being here. Single bedroom units are nicely divided, and it really is a great place to live.
I'm new to this area and I wanted to find a place that was safe, had apartments in a working condition, staff that was reliable, and not that far from grocery stores and shopping areas. Union flats fit all those necessities. The apartments are brand new so you know the apartments are up to date and not broken. It has a gym, pool, fire pit, pool game, and a business area for printing needs. The staff is responsive to any questions and concerns that I have and are there to help me. The other residents are nice and I feel safe in the apartment complex during the day and night. Overall I' would say I'm happy with this place
Since day 1 Union Flats has been nothing short of quality service. The apartments are luxurious and comfy. The area feels very safe on top of the extra security each building provides. The location is next to everything from grocery stores to restaurants to malls and extracurricular activities. I drive all over this area for work and traffic is never an issue. The walls are very solid and i barely hear anyone above us. The pool is clean and wonderful and even has a fire pit that is accessible for the residents to use. There is free wifi by the pool which shows the little details that go above and beyond. The gym is better than any other gym apartments in the surrounding area offers and all of the equipment is brand new. Last but not least the staff is wonderful. Stephanie and Perry are who I mainly have had to work with and they are amazing, they set the bar for reliable and accommodating leasing agents while always having a smile on their face. If you are looking for somewhere to live look no further. Anywhere else will be subpar compared to Union Flats.

I'm new to the area, and I found Stephanie to be proactive, responsive, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make me fee right at home. Easy to do business with. Location is perfect - within easy bicycling distance of my job, and only ten minutes driving distance to great shopping. Modern amenities that include state of the art cardio fitness equipment, and brand new, soon-to-open community room. Check this place out if you want the best value for your money!
