U lofts has been a great community to live in so far! All of the staff are amazing and friendly. The gym is fairly nice as well as the pool. I think the best thing is how close U lofts is to the Texas Tech campus! Overall, I have had a great experience so far!

House is too old. top ceiling is very cautious. I dont know why holes on my ceiling? Very noisy air conditioners operation. Everything is too old and not well managed.

Decent but a lot of bugs in the building. The building has to have keys to enter so I feel like it is safer than any other places in Lubbock and it is considered as the closest student apartment to the campus

The lack of internet is super annoying when I have to log into online classes each day. Otherwise the room is great I love the price and quiet and parking is always available

There are two wall-mounted air conditioners indoors, making the space comfortable, and the essential furniture and appliances are well-equipped with decent quality. The outside view is also nice, and in particular, the spacious bathroom is a great feature. In addition, I like that the gym in the building is easily accessible. The location is also very convenient, with schools, restaurants, and cafés nearby, which is another point I would recommend.

WiFi I a little slow and they said you have to register your device but the link they sent to do that was for logging in with an account you already made but not to register and when I emailed them to get the right link I was ignored.

I think y’all should replace the ovens with electric glass top ovens and allow us to have the options to use the garbage disposal. I think the walls, cabinets furniture should be upgraded as well.

In general, I love staying here in the apartment. But the cost is the main reason I frequently question whether or not it is worth staying, and it doesn't help that the price keeps on rising. The maintenance workers are top notch, and quickly get their work done. The pool, for some reason, is still dirty and closed; which has been for a while now. And parking is ok, but once again is going up more than it should. In general, it's great to be here, but I feel that the people in charge are overcharging us just for being located across the street from campus.

Apartments need more frequent maintenance, but they’re good in general. I’d recommend at least once a year to check out with residents to do a deep clean and repairs.

Awesome staff. The apartment looks exactly like the photos. The complex is well kept. Maintenance comes to fix any issue within the hour usually.

Provide clear, step-by-step instructions for move-in, including parking, utilities setup, and community guidelines. Implement a 24/7 maintenance request system with guaranteed response times.
Locationwise, this apartment is so convenient to Tech. It is well managed and all inspections in the units are done regularly to ensure safety. I like the apartment's activities on special occassions.
My experience has been mostly good. The complex is kept clean and the apartments are nice. Maintenance is fairly quick and the front office is helpful.
Roaches everywhere and very little done to deal with it other than the occasional spray, which doesn’t work. I keep my apartment clean so I really don’t think that one is on me. My apartment was absolutely trashed when I moved in and had clearly not been cleaned at ALL before I got there. Black mold was everywhere. Was not notified that my bathroom sink was completely molded and warped upon move in, which is quite frankly unacceptable. Wasn’t fixed for another 2 months and had no notification from the front office until a day or two before they decided to come and fix it. Many other utilities in my apartment were damaged as well, including the AC, stovetop, fridge, and the water heating in my bathroom. Water heating issue was never fixed. Communication and accountability are huge issues here. Only real bonuses are the rent and utilities prices (ish) and maybe proximity to campus too. Not sure if it makes up for my overall experience though.
I generally like Ulofts and the people in my community. The staff is always nice, however they continually raise their prices, even for residents who have spent repetitive years in the community. This is very frustrating for those who have been loyal to the location and process. The neighbors could also be better. Two doors down from me is a family with small child and whenever the child has a tantrum, they take them into the hallway so everyone has to know that they are crying, even at 3 AM. The work orders are taken care of relatively fast and most of the workers go above and beyond to ensure that you’re having a great stay. The pool is not taken care of during the off season, so if you are to have a window view of the pool, it’s not at its best in the fall/winter/part of spring. Furthermore, the parking garage isn’t in the best shape and for some reason, the complex decided to do construction in the garage during the school season versus the summer when many less people are there.
Very nice and spacious apartments. Very conveniently located across from TTU. Apartment is furnished with nice appliances. Pool is not operational right now but I’m told that it will be in the near future.
Quiet and convenient. I really like my room and the gym is nice. Overall I have had a good experience here. The only real complaint I have is the parking garage can be difficult to drive in and the community areas could use updating
I have lived at ULofts for over five years, and its proximity to campus is a huge advantage, especially for those working or studying at Texas Tech. The apartment units are cozy, though a bit dated, but the apartment complex has shown consistent improvement over time. The neighborhood feels safe, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and approachable. While most of the residents are considerate, littering is an issue in the common areas. The fitness center was recently updated with great equipment, but it could benefit from more frequent cleaning. One downside is the frequent unavailability of amenities the pool was open for only a few weeks during Summer 2024. The cost of living here with rent increases and a “flat utility fee,” which now surpasses cumulative inflation over the past five years, have made it more difficult to justify ULofts' pricing compared to the market. Overall, ULofts offers convenient and pleasant living but has several areas that need improvement.
The apartment office often provides notices with very short advance warning, which can make it challenging to cooperate, especially if you travel frequently. However, the location is excellent—just steps away from the classroom, making it very convenient.
The move-in process was very smooth, and the apartment was generally clean. The spaces seem to be renewed. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Could be cleaner, musty smells linger throughout the complex. Maintenance is not the most urgent/quick at responding to requests. Office staff are easy to reach most of the time.

I’m not a resident yet, but i scheduled a tour the staff was really nice, they answered all my questions and gave me a tour of my room plan, while my tour i got to see everything and it was really clean and nice just like the pictures, it was also barely any noise. Everything was great but to be honest i was expecting my the room plan that i got to be a bit bigger, but overall it was nice and clean. Just the way they show it online.

It was a Great Tour and very informative. I am very impressed with the Gym and the area around Texas Tech and the surrounding area with restaurants and churches.

Good but it’s hard to get packages to be delivered. I’ve had to call maintenance a couple times to fix the hot water because it was really hot. Overall clean place to live

The location is wonderful. However, the overall maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness in common areas (elevator, corridor, parking lots, etc.) are not perfect. Additionally, the office hours are sometimes unexpectedly changed, with the office either closing early or opening later than stated. Regardless, there has been significant improvement over the last year or two.

Good price for what you get. Management has been improving a lot over the year. Had very few problems! And ever when I had them they solved it pretty fast I'd say.

The price point and amenities are okay. The kitchen could be a bit bigger, but the living room space is great. However, the cockroach infestation issue is stressing and tiresome.

Enjoy the location right across from campus. The new weight room is nice also. Working through some issues with bugs in the apartment but it was sprayed so hoping that will resolve it.

towing rules and parking garage is ridcouilis to the point where it wouldd be more conveint to park outside the property. Terribe noise you can hear everything from the bar across the street to neighbours to even other peoples microwaves.
