Property Ratings at Trevi Apartment Homes
I’ve been living at Trevi Apartments, specifically in the Rossini unit, and overall my experience has been a rollercoaster. Things started off pretty well, and I was excited to move in. The leasing process was smooth. But the first issue popped up right away: I didn’t receive my mail keys. I was told we were on a list to get them, so I was patient at first. But five months in, I still had no access to my mail. After repeatedly asking the office, I finally received the keys—eight months into my 13-month lease. That was frustrating and felt avoidable. Later on, I decided to adopt a dog. Trevi advertises itself as a dog-friendly community, and that part is true—tons of dogs, lots of variety. I adopted a boxer and had all the necessary paperwork ready to officially add her to my lease. But when I went to the office, the staff tried to claim that my dog wasn’t allowed because they believed boxers were considered “mastiff breeds.” Boxers weren’t on the breed restriction list, though. And ironically, I’d seen plenty of clearly restricted breeds around the complex—pit bulls, German Shepherds, Great Danes—you name it. Then something weird happened: after I left the office and started chatting with a potential new tenant outside, the leasing agents suddenly came running out and reversed their decision, saying my dog was fine after all. The whole thing felt shady, like they didn’t want the new person overhearing bad vibes. The biggest issue by far was the internet. When I moved in, the only provider was CenturyLink. During my lease, CenturyLink came out six different times to fix connection issues. I was trying to transition to remote work, but I couldn’t rely on the internet at all. CenturyLink techs even told me they believed the complex had outdated wiring and that the Chandler heat was making the issue worse. I wasn’t surprised. Credit where it’s due: the maintenance team is awesome. They’re fast, reliable, and always helpful. Unfortunately, as my lease neared its end, the complex started to go downhill. Trash overflowed from the dumpsters, no one was picking up after their dogs anymore, and stray kittens were rummaging through garbage at night. It felt like management had checked out. When it came time to renew my lease, I never even got a renewal offer. With only about 20 days left, I went into the office myself. Instead of offering a deal or even keeping the same rate, they told me my rent would be going up. That was the last straw—I decided to move. T
Moved in August and I was assured that there would be no issues with maintenance unlike what the reviews had mentioned. Well, I should have trusted them. Have had a work order in for my broken microwave and dryer in for 2 months (posted on October 13) and it is now December 12. For some reason the fire alarms here also do not take batteries, and they need to replace the entire alarm when it starts beeping due to low battery. One of my bedrooms has been without a fire alarm for a month now as well (posted on November 15). I have also communicated with the front office multiple times about the requests, and have been assured they will get taken care of. This led to maintenance coming up and leaving a note saying they will need to come back and they just never did. It is a shame because the complex is beautiful and in a great area, but people move into apartments to not have to deal with completing maintenance themselves.

The apartments are ok. They have most things updated within the flats. The location is perfect, not too far from everything. There is shopping not even 7 minutes away. The pools could be cleaned, but there are 2, which is a plus. They give you a gate code but the gate stays open 24 hours which is unfortunate. One attribute I liked was that it was gated but not. Unfortunately, I will have to rate them as mediocre because maintenance and just getting anything done in a timely fashion is beyond them. I moved in on June 17. I completed the walkthrough and there were a few things that bothered me. I thoroughly inspected it myself and took pictures for my own collection as advised. My toilet was leaking at the bottom when flushed (easy fox needed to be tightened). The major thing that has yet to be fixed is my dishwasher. I ran it the first day to test it out and I noticed stagnant water that wasn't draining. Again, I wrote this problem on the paper provided to me to describe what was wrong with the apartment before moving in. A week passed. Nothing! 2 weeks passed, I called and they stated people called off so I wouldn't be able to be seen until that week (as it was a Saturday). Later that week came around (Tues/Wed) I walked to the office and spoke with two people personally (a receptionist and manager) and the manager said she had just gotten back from vacation and hadn't gotten a chance to look into anything. I expressed to the young lady that I understood. If someone could just address the two main problems that involve water, I'd be happy to compromise on timing. She said she would send someone pronto. The next week rolled around ( week 3) and a young man came to inspect and fix the toilet. He also looked at the dishwasher and told me that I needed a new drain, he would order it, and it would be here by Wednesday (it was a Monday). The NEXT WEEK ROLLED AROUND (WEEK 4) AND STILL NO UPDATE. I HAVE CALLED AND PERSONALLY WENT INTO THE OFFICE FOR THE 3RD TIME REGARDING THIS DISHWASHER. THE WATER HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A MONTH STRAIGHT! IT HAS STARTED TO SMELL! I've asked on multiple occasions for them just to come drain the water so that it wouldn't smell. I can wait for the part to come. This is very disappointing! It should not take a whole month to just drain the water. I shouldn't have to use my tools to drain it when the problem was here before I moved in!

Thank you for your feedback. Our records indicate that your dishwasher was repaired over a week ago. If this is not the case, please contact us at (480) 637-3864 or email us at residentservices@davlyninvestments.com so we can promptly address any concerns.
Seriously. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. First of all the unit I moved into was NOT ready. Drawers broken/not opening properly. Drains not draining. Sharp things poking out of the carpet. Dishwasher not mounted properly so it moves any time you try and open/close it. All of this is frustrating on its own but the thing that pushed me over the edge is the parking situation. There is no reserved parking for tenants unless you PAY for a garage unit. What this means is that there is no guarantee that you, the person who lives there, may have to park very far from your unit because someone has guests over, IF you get a parking spot at all.

We are sorry to hear that we didn’t meet your expectations. We have very high expectations at Trevi and would love the opportunity to improve. Please get in touch with us at residentservices@davlyninvestments.com.
Don't move here, this is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. It was filthy dirty and not move in ready when we received our keys. We had to reschedule movers in order to clean prior to moving in. Response and communication from office staff are horrible at best if they communicate at all. They almost never answer the phone and voicemail is almost always full so you can't leave a message. If you are able to leave a message, they won't return your call. When moving out we were not allowed to be present for the move-out walk through. They deducted money from our security deposit and won't provide the detail of what was deducted. By far the worst apartment ever. Save yourself the headache and aggravation.
We needed apartment on very short notice and Monica helped us out in apartment showing, application submission and providing all details on the application and also answering all the questions.(special thanks to her for bearing with all the questions:-)) Was able to get it approved and keys handed over to us with 48 hours of our intial contact. Excellent service.

Poor management places are infested with bugs and don’t do any thing…want something fixed it takes min of a month ..DONT RENT HERE
Trevi is tucked away in a quiet corner of Chandler, calm and serene, but it is also in an incredibly convenient location. Anything you could possibly need for day-to-day living is within a 10 minute drive. It's a quick hop to both the 101 and 202 if you need to reach other parts of the metro area. Bonus: The staff is absolutely outstanding!
The reason I like living at Trevi is the floor plan. The Frangelico is amazing and its like a townhouse with a completely open floor plan.
A nightmare is the best way to describe it! They not only went up on my rent by 30% they never communicated things properly, valet trash would skip my apartment on multiple occasions, the pool was closed most of my lease. Just not worth the headache or the money spent!
Trevi is a beautiful, peaceful, friendly community with a dog park, 24 hour gym, pool, and just a generally calming atmosphere. Even the USPS drivers are cool. The apartments are kept in working order with all the appliances one would need included. It's right by the Chandler Fashion Center, too, so if you're a heavy shopper, there isn't a better location. If you're afraid of water and dust damage to your car, they have garages for that.
Absolutely love the community and our life here. 10/10!
Completely terrible experience with this apartment complex. We lived here for 3 years and the best thing we ever did was move away from here. The office does not respond to email/phone inquiries. They get them, but they do not respond to anything. I complained about this directly to one of the office workers and she tells me she see's the emails come in and sit there but she doesn't respond to them because it's not her job. The office was not responding to email requests for weeks. Finally I figured out who the district manager was and emailed her telling her that the office was not responding to requests. That night the apartment complex towed my car claiming it hadn't moved in 7 days. This was during COVID when tons of cars hadn't moved for 7 days. I also noticed that there were cars parked right around mine with expired plates that were not towed. It's interesting that the same day I complain to the district manager my car gets towed and no other cars get towed. Retaliation? I don't know but the apartment let me go get my car from the tow company for free.... sooooo that's interesting. Some quick hit issues: They force you into Century Link internet which is 100 percent garbage service. You'd think you'd get some sort of discount because of how bad the service is and the fact that the entire complex is forced into using it. You don't. The box for the apartment is located very far away from the actual apartments. You'll pay for 40 mbps (which is the highest they can give you) but the internet speeds will barely reach 15-20 mbps, often not even that high. Working from home with these speeds is a disaster. Streaming cuts in and out... god forbid if you play online games. The type of century link service you're set up with doesn't even allow you to call customer service for help. They transfer you around 5 different times before you get to a specialty department that is the only group of people you can talk to. It's infuriating. I would not recommending living at Trevi. Long story short, you pay a lot of money to live in "luxury apartments" that aren't luxury and are more of a headache than anything else to deal with.
Lovely apartment complex! Beautiful and clean facilities and wonderful location!
Overall the Trevi community has been great to live in. The staff overall is pleasant and I love the floor plan. It's a nice place to live but the complex is getting older.
I Love Living here! I have been Living here for 15 years and have Enjoyed everyday Living here! It is so Beautiful here at Trevi! The Management Team and Maintenance Staff are Fantastic and Very Professional!
Love the community and people and feeling safe. Neighbors and maintenance staff are great and friendly. Management is friendly and nice, however the time frame of things getting resolved takes long
Beautiful property, but the pools/jucuzzi s need work. Bad pumps. Jets not working. Jucuzzi dirty.
Trevi is a nice place aesthetically, but the maintenance response is poor at making repairs timely. It seems like the pools have been more unavailable than available due to repairs so amenity fees seem like theft. Air conditioning units fail to keep up with summer heat and the lone internet service option and speed that we only have with CenturyLink is poor and not sufficient for working from home or more than one person.
Worst management i have seen ever! Maintenance is so slow that i start to fix problems on my own!
The property itself is maintained daily, maintenance folks are always out making sure things look nice and for the most part the neighborhood is quiet. There are the usual amenities and they’re kept up. The reason why this gets two stars is because the ownership thought it was a great idea to sign an EXCLUSIVE contract with CenturyLink as the internet provider. If you enjoy internet speeds at a blistering 2mbs on average this is your new home. Imagine using those free AOL disc in 2021 that use to come in the mail in 2001. Do not pursue a home here if you value any hobby pertaining to the use of internet or if you work from home.
Do not live at Trevi, management is poor. Residents are noisy, maintenance doesnt fix issues in a timely manner.
I Love living here! I have been living here for 14 years. The Management and Maintenance Personnel are all Fantastic, Professional, and Very Nice!
Do not live here. Poor insulation, sounds leaks in, leaf blowing before 7 am on week days, slow internet, slow cell service, they don't replace cracked old tubs, ants everywhere. Not worth it
I’ve lived here for 6 years. At the beginning of this year we moved into a bigger apartment. I’ve seen many office staff and maintenance staff come and go. I’ve been here for the change of property management. I’ve seen this place at its best and worst. I stayed here because of convenience and close proximity to work. We will not be renewing our lease after the horrible treatment we’ve had this week. Our ac unit stopped working, and we are now on day 4 of living at 90 degrees inside. I’ve called them several times during the day everyday this week with no resolution. I’ve known for a while this place was going down hill but was willing to overlook it as most things inside my apartment worked. I regret renewing my lease and cannot wait to move out.
We moved to Arizona from across the country & we signed a lease- site unseen! We lived here for 2.5 years & wouldn’t have left- if it wasn’t for us moving to a new state! We had a 2BR/2BA on the first floor & LOVED it! Having neighbors upstairs can get a little annoying, as you can hear kids running around & specific people walking about, but it’s livable. We love Alex- the assistant manager who is always so nice & a pleasure to talk to. Maintenance is usually very quick to respond to issues, & work on first come first serve basis. (which is fair) I have loved living at Trevi & will miss how comfortable it is.
My roommate and I have lived at Broadstone Trevi for a little more than three months now. We came from a small one bedroom apartment to a much more comfortable two bedroom apartment. So far our experience at Broadstone Trevi has been not as expected. We moved in hoping to come to a place that we could call home and feel welcome and apart of a community. At first, it seemed as though we had all we hoped for, but then things took a turn for the worst. The apartment itself is everything we hoped for, but the employees unfortunately are not as welcoming as we thought. Now, my roommate and I are in search of another home to hopefully find that community feel that we have missed out on. It's unfortunate that we would have to break our lease and move our belongings once more because of something that could be changed in such a simple way: their attitude. I hope that one day Broadstone will be open to change and that future residents don't have to feel the way that we do.
I absolutely love it here! The apartments are wonderfully sized and the interior features are at the prime of Luxury or a low cost! The beautifully colored granite counter tops are a great feature to have in an apartment for this cost. The laminate flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms is very easy to clean and looks great as well. Though I would love to see more laminate throughout the main areas of the home, I understand the carpeting need to muffle sound on the higher floors. Maintenance and Office staff are always so friendly! The only time that I needed a maintenance call was the first week that I had moved in my washing machine was not hooked up properly. When they came in they discovered that the machine was not working properly so he brought up an entirely new machine. This entire process from start to finish took less than an hour! And the main office staff is always willing to help with whatever you might need! Brandon, Tammy, and Jamie are always so cheerful which makes it wonderful to come in when I need a package. The location has super easy access to freeways and close to things happening in Chandler. You can make it to downtown Phoenix in just about 25 minutes.
I really enjoyed living here. It was luxurious living for a decent price. The best parts of this complex are the pools that they have. Some of the coolest looking pools of any apartment complex I have looked at. The gym is nice as well. It is nice to be able to go to the pool at any time of the day/night as well. This apartment complex is also perfectly located near the 101 and 202 and you can get anywhere you really want to go. I definitely recommend this complex.
