1. No mailbox security, tenants are forced to buy/rent p.o. boxes at post office... 2. Maintenance requests are met with multiple excuses of why they can't/won't get done and tenant will be blamed for inoperable features, appliances, fixtures, etc.. 3. Tenants get surveilled without their knowledge, often by other tenants. who then report back to landlord/owner, in exchange for a reduction in rent... 4. Your personal, financial, and other sensitive information will be spread amongst certain chosen tenants, and throughout the community, for manipulative purposes... 5. Unethical practices are the standard... 6. Many of the tenant's attitudes seem burdened and unhappy, the general atmosphere has an uneasy, heavy, and unsettling quality about it... 7. Check every item thoroughly in the lease's "condition of unit" checklist before signing off on each item. The pressure to sign and submit the lease is significant... 8. etc...etc...etc...
