The city of Laredo is rooted deep in the Lone Star State. Not only will you find affordable apartments, you’ll be encompassed by culture, as only one would in Texas.
Founded over 250 years ago on the Rio Grande River, Laredo tourism is pretty huge and the sites consist of San Agustin Plaza and the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum. When it comes to shopping, you’ll be impressed by all the opportunities surrounding you. Locals enjoy the brands at Mall de Norte as well as the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo.
At San Bernardo Avenue, you’ll find 40 blocks of shops selling authentic finds and baked goods. The culinary scene is excellent with a bounty of authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants. Residents here are serviced by the Laredo International Airport and three major roadways.
Texas A&M International University calls this city home, just north of Lake Casa Blanca Park. This state park features waterskiing, picnic pavilions, and trails.

Property Ratings at Townlake Apartments
These apartments are nasty. There was a roach infestation a few months ago when I moved in that I was told nothing about. The carpet is full of stains that won’t come out even after having it shampooed (and it’s peeling off/falling apart all around the edges where there are sharp nails). The shower is falling apart. The linoleum is also falling apart and is full of holes. If that wasn’t bad enough, the water had a strange smell when I moved in that gradually got worse as time went on. For the past few weeks, the water has been turned off and on at random and recently it was turned off completely for days. Extremely inconvenient for the tenants as these aren’t even livable conditions (can’t use the toilet, shower, sink)and the owners had the audacity to increase the rent. No remorse. And all the woman at the front desk has to say about any and every issue here is: “it’s out of my hands” not worth the money AT ALL! It’s a miracle these apartments are still standing with all that is wrong with them. (Also, it’s not just my building, several neighbors have confirmed that they are going through the same or similar issues!) It is a sad situation considering all the money we pay to live here only to get treated so poorly...
