The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Town Village South Apartments
If you can live anywhere else please do so. These apartments are completely falling apart. We've had one issue after another. The toilet takes several times just to flush, the shower is stuck in shower mode. They tow tenants cars from the parking lot. We have to walk across the entire complex just to throw our trash out. Management is awful. The apartments are tiny and run down. Just save yourself the nightmares and don't live here!!!!
I’ve been living here for over 6 months.. and I haven’t had any issues.. the manager in the office has been really nice and she’s really professional.. the maintenance staff is really fast at doing their.. job. it’s in a good area as well you have just about everything close to you. Overall I think it’s a really good apartment..I’m really glad that I can call this place my home..
They got rid of the apartment manager Stephanie who has been there for at least 6 years. She was amazing... The young assistant girl in the office took her job and the authority got to her head. She now speaks to her residents and I've even heard her speak to her staff so poorly that it made me sick to my stomach. We used to think she was a sweet girl until she was put in a position of power, they need a new manager! I can't wait to get out of this hell hole :-( I've called this place home for 5 years but because of all of this I will be moving when my lease is up
If your looking for a place to live, look no further. Chloe in the office was very knowledgeable and caring. She was a doll and Stephanie the manger was a blessing to work with. We already feel like they both a re family. We are the Brown family. My wife kids and I felt welcome from the start. Thank you for having them as your office team. They sure need a raise. I've looked into many other properties and no one came close to them. Very professional and respectful. I can see my family and I being apart of the community here for years to come. If your looking for a great place to call home look no further. Stephanie and Chile will sure talks care of you Tha k you so much for everything. We love y'all like family already.
my husband and I have lived here for six months and we aren't very happy. there are roaches outside at night all the time, our fridge door broke, the bathroom door came off a hinge, there is constantly people blairing music in the parking lot at night. the stairs are not in very good condition, the apartment didn't come with a microwave, and standing in my living room i can hear every conversation that goes on in the parking lot. not worth the price.
We absolutely love our landlord...she's just amazing the staff are great also. The only reason we will move bc we have a dog that needs a big back yard...thank you Stephanie.
Excellent staff at Town Village South. Very glad I made the move here. From the office staff to the maintenance crew absolutely wonderful and caring ... Kristina walker
Stephanie (hope thats how its spelled) is the best apartment manager ive ever dealt with in my 8 years of leasing. She is absolutely amazing and has done nothing but help me out since i first moved here to Tyler. She was the only one that would take me in back in 2016 (i had some problems with my rental history), and ever since has gone above and beyond for me. I will not live anywhere else while im staying here in Tyler. I admit they arent the most amazing apartments in Tyler but for the price its an awesome place, and the staff here make the stay worth it. If Stephanie (again hope thats how its spelled) leaves the property i would highly consider finding a new place because anyone that would replace her wouldnt live up to my expectations since she has set the bar so high for the future staff here. I am extremely happy with my experience with town village south!!
I have been living here for 6 months now. It has been terrible every since I got here. I called to inquire about the apartment. Each time I called I got different information. They showed me an apartment that looked nothing like mine. I didn't see my apartment until I moved in. The apartment has no knobs in the living room, bathroom or master bedroom. They just keep giving excuses why the can't install the knobs. Also I didn't have a mailbox. So instead of them put one in the correct spot. They just used an empty mailbox in the wrong spot. This results in me getting a lot of mail returned. There was a drug bust two nights. I do not recommend any one staying here unless you have no where else to go.
