I lost my package in the mailroom before even getting a code. I talked to staff and they were not helping me. I lost my packages multiple times now. Not just once, not just twice, but uncountable many times. I want to write this review to warn people about coming here. Towers is one of the worst apartments. With my 4 years of living here, I would say nobody is really helpful. My dishwasher is still broken in these 4 years. My ceiling is still leaking water after multiple repairs. Please run away from towers if you can.

The kitchen is small with no room to prepare a meal. The bathroom drawers get stuck on their sliders. The air conditioning doesn’t work in one of the rooms in a double that I live in. The place was in a good location and had a washer and dryer in the unit. The rent continues to get higher for a mediocre place. Not worth the money!

Towers on State is placed in the center of campus. It is in walking distance to all my classes and only seconds away from every store on state street. The amenities in the buildings are great and everyone who works there is helpful and nice. Highly recommend!!

Towers is the best location in the city and with a secure building what more can you ask for. The gym and studies room are super useful, and they even have a secure package room. The staff is always friendly and helpful and we have 24 hour emergency maintenance.

I have been living at Towers on State for two years now. I have had a few internet issues, but the front desk has been super helpful which I really appreciate. I love the new fitness center and game room. They just added a new pool table and dart board, which is super nice right now since we can't do much with COVID. All of the study rooms have been the biggest plus since I am not ready to go sit at a coffee shop with a bunch of people without masks on.

I absolutely love living at Towers. The front desk staff is so kind and helpful, and everyone is super nice. The walking distance to campus is perfect. I work at the Memorial Union, and it is literally 5 minutes away. It is also super cool that I can see Bascom Hill from my living room!!
This is by far the WORST apartment building I've ever lived in. I have lived in 2 different apartment buildings in the Down-Town Madison area before this one. And this is my worst experience so far. When we moved in our blinds were broken and walls were really damaged and they didn't do anything about either. Don't bother filling out a maintenance request because they don't get answered to. We filled out a maintenance request about our AC because it was 87 degrees in our apartment and they said they had shut off the AC for the rest of the year and didn't tell us. It was only an "emergency" if it got over 90 degrees. Here's a list of some of the many things that are horrible with this place. -No parking or car space out front. so moving-in is a nightmare. -Maintenance guys came into our apartment randomly as early as 8am. Only knocked once before entering (I was in bed during one of these times) -Wifi constantly went out for hours on end sometimes into the next day. sucks if you have online work to do. -Neighbors partying throughout the weekdays (til 3am most times) -Hot water shut off for days throughout the year -Fire alarms 24/7 -No oven. They list they have a "microwave oven" but it's literally a regular microwave cause it doesn't work as an oven. -Dust accumulation everywhere. Air quality is literally horrible. -AC and heat get shut off during certain points of the year -No closet in the bedrooms -The shower is literally the tiniest thing ever -Gym was never cleaned This place is just straight up grimy. It's so gross and smelly and the furnishings are hideous and damaged. Please, if you are looking at this place, keep in mind there is so much better you can get for your money. I know the location on State street is nice but it's not worth all the things that go wrong within the building. It is not worth the money.

Hello Ashley, We apologize that you are unhappy with your current apartment. Our apartments do not have regular parking, as we are directly located on State Street. City parking is available through the city of Madison, and we do have time allotments for cars for loading and unloading directly outside our building in the loop. We see that you are having trouble using your convection oven. We would love to help show you how to use this machine if you would like to set up a time to do so. We do apologize that we do not have regular closets at this property. We do have California closets, as this is what we advertise. If you are having issues with noise from your neighbors, our security guard is on-site Monday-Sunday from 9 pm to 5 am to assist you. He is at the front desk during these times. We do hope you understand that our building has a boiler system, which means the air conditioning does need to be turned off during a certain time of the year to start heating the boilers. We did wait until the weather was at the point of under 50 degrees before we switched this system. With being in Wisconsin, it is very difficult to determine what the weather will be like at all times. We would also love to discuss the water issue you stated above, as we are worried you have a maintenance issue that needs to be addressed immediately. We have never shut off the water for days at a time, we only had shut the water off in the building for a 5 hour period while we were replacing a pipe on the main floor, and this was notified to our residents the previous day. Can you please contact us at 608-257-0701 so we can make sure to address any maintenance issues that may be happening in your apartment or please log into your resident portal and put in a request so we can help assist you?
