Thornwood Apartments

The whole building is infested with roaches, I’m a very clean and organized person . No matter how clean my house was I still had them. They are also in the hallways. Kids run up and down the hall all day and night, the elevators are always broke . Management is money hungry and they’re quick to put you out . It’s a nice area to live but the people and kids are ghetto

I had a very bad problem with mice this year. I never had a roach problem but definitely mice. And it took 4 months for the problem to be fixed. Nothing was done for the food I lost from all the mice we had. The kids are always in the hallways. These pictures are nice but not reality. Appliances out of date. Crime happens here all the time. Because the doors are unlocked. And not just petty crimes. Not sure how the 3.5 stars came about.

This is the absolute WORST PLACE YOU CAN LIVE!!!!! Management is terrible and doesn't care about the safety of the residents. No security. No police patrol. The doors aren't locked. The hallways are disgustingly nasty and stink!! The Kids are OUT OF CONTROL.They run through the hallways banging on doors, at night kids throw rocks at windows and bang on them as well. Even if you report these things to management SHE DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT!!! This is a horrific place to live. Save your money and your peace! You will be in turmoil!!!!!!

This is the worst place ever to live. The management is clueless or just don’t care what goes on at this property. All the doors are always unlocked , kids run around like animals. Someone is always banging on the windows and doors, there is no security this complex is to big not to have security Horrible!!!

These pictures are false. It is very nasty here and no one will ever fix or help change this nasty establishment.

Mold is very bad in both buildings. Also don't let anyone tell you that it's caused by heat and moisture. Mold is caused by water leaks inside the walls or leaking pipes inside or near the walls. And also bleach and water will not take care of the problem. Tearing down and replacing the walls is the only solution. When it comes to the roaches I believe the tenants have them as pets or something cause it's just way too many of them. Mold is harmful to you if have allergies or asthma. It also irritates your skin, eyes, throat, and lungs. It's not good for anyone but its especially harmful to babies and the elderly. If you place a call to the city village they will fix it faster than "management" will.

I would not recommend this dump to a dog i have lived in better places Thornwood's management should be fired. The place is filthy! would you like to live with ROACHES?

Management is horrible.. They have roaches and bed bugs crawling all in the hallway and inside the apartments and plus you can't even drink the water cause it comes out cloudy.??

the building is pretty well maintained it is near the bus route, stores, restaurants. it has a pool in the back, a place where you can bbq and a play area for the children. i just don't like the fact we have to pay $5.00 for any lights we get now except 1
