Property Ratings at The Wyatt at Northern Lights
I have never dealt with a property this poor before. Not only do they lack customer service in every sense of the word but they will be on you for every little thing as long as it benefits them. False advertising when they say they “plow the snow for you”. If you get stuck in snow due to THEM not plowing, don’t expect them to help you out. If you have issues with your garage during non business hours, they will also not come and help. You will need to call a locksmith or figure it out on your own. The one they recommend will most likely not answer. We unfortunately chose this property because we were moving from out of state and needed a place immediately after arriving so we did not get a chance to tour the property in person. The pictures advertised are clearly not updated. There is damage inside the apartments that are obviously not shown in the pictures. I would recommend avoiding IMM in general.

Thank you for your review and sharing your experience. Our management team is reviewing your feedback as your comments do not fall within the resident service goals our team has set for themselves. We do have guidelines set in place regarding the handling of winter precipitation. Most snow management throughout the northern plains is based on the amount accumulating. In lighter accumulations it is common for the snow removal to occur once the snow fall has ended. If attempting to operate a vehicle in light snowfall conditions, all-weather tires with good tread on them and a vehicle with good ground clearance is essential. All wheel drive/4-wheel drive vehicles are generally preferred for winter driving here. In heavier snowfall events, usually a no travel advisory is issued for the area which does aid snow crews in their cleanup efforts. Most often if conditions fall within a no travel advised situation, military personnel, schools, businesses, etc. will close and advise non-essential persons to stay at home allowing snow removal crews time for snow removal - which can be a multi-day process after heavy snow events. You are correct that during office hours, staff is able to assist residents who may have locked themselves out, but a locksmith will need to be called if this occurs afterhours per our policy. All residences, which have been previously occupied, may have cosmetic blemishes like a scratch in a cabinet, or maybe scratches on the top of washer or dryer for example. We fully inspect and return units to a sanitary condition standard set by our management team. We do provide a move-in inspection to all residents which includes our inspection of the unit at move in. The resident then inspects and documents any issues that they find in the unit. If any issues that require repair are reported on the inspection, our maintenance staff then follows up to complete the needed work. Kindly, IMM
If you're able to get a first floor apartment I'd say these are reasonably priced. Had the most difficult time getting a standard sized couch into the 3rd floor (had to use a pulley system from the balcony as the stairs are too narrow). Otherwise management is great and maintenance requests are fast to respond!
The apartments themselves are lovely and we have had no issues with them. The clubhouse with the pool, hot tub, and sauna is amazing.

I moved into the Wyatt apartments back in Nov and have no issues with property or even the property managers. They have all been very kind and friendly to work with. I love the atmosphere they give off from these apartments cause it doesn't fully give you that apartment living but maybe more townhouse living but still could to neighbors just like an apartment. I love all entrances to each apartment are all outside and no need to be within a building to access them making for delivery services to be easily done as well. It seems like a very nice, neat, and friendly complex to be apart of.

Even though the airport is near us, it is pretty quiet for the most part. We have our own little patio that we can decorate. And the apartments themselves are very nice! We haven’t had any issues with any of the appliances. It’s pretty well kept up from the lawn mowing and the snow removal. Although I would say the mail room situation needs to be addressed. It’s unorganized and not what we were expecting. Although I think the staff is doing their best. We don’t use the clubhouse for anything , I think that’s definitely why the rent is a little higher than some in minot. So if you don’t use the pool or hot tub, I would suggest a different apartment with a better price.

The Wyatt has been a really good place to live so far! The staff is friendly and helpful and the amenities are very nice to have. They are dog-friendly and do short term rentals if needed. The only real downside is the cost. The rent is on the higher end and heating is electric-only, so the utilities are also quite high. If you need a convenient and pleasant place to live and don’t mind paying a bit of a premium, the Wyatt is definitely a solid option.

Thank you for your review! With the rising costs of everything in our lives today, here's some energy saving tips we found online: Turn off the lights when not in use. Change your lightbulbs to energy-saving lightbulbs. Don’t run your appliances unless they’re full. Check for phantom energy - unplug devices when you’re not using them. Adjust your refrigerator - set at about 35–38 degrees, and keep your freezer full. And, check the hot water heater temperature setting to make sure it is not set too high. Kindly, IMM
I have lived here since August, and I absolutely love it. So many amenities, great staff, nice neighborhood. We love the spacious apartment (2 bed 2 bath). We also love how modern it is! If it’s in your budget to live here, 10/10 recommend. Plus, we get military discount and it’s not too far from base!

The Wyatt apartments have been a wonderful place to live for myself and my family. They are beautiful in the inside and come with different amenities such as a pool, hot tub, workout room and a place for our dog to play. Maintenance is always around and comes when needed!

The staff is very attentive, even though they are always very busy when I go in there. The clubhouse has the whole indoor winter package: pool, hot tub and dry sauna. Like having private entry to apartment and the dog park helps the pup run off some energy.

A poorly managed and disorganized property. Management expects residents to solve their own issues, and when residents find a way to deal with the many problems present at this property, thy are then slapped with fines for anything and everything. In the winter, residents are plowed into their parking spots and forced to dig their way out. Garages will freeze shut and you'll be unable to access your vehicle at all. In the summer, children throw rocks at cars in the parking lot. They'll also be allowed to disturb their neighbors at all times of the night. Management must not take pride in their work, as they have not - and will not - do anything at all to correct the many issues that accompany this property. Don't waste your time here, go somewhere else.

Apartments are not worth the cost, the layout is inconvenient and your electricity bills will be through the roof every month. Much better choices around town, my recommendation: stay away.

Moved in 2yrs ago for a PCS and have had nothing but good experiences. I cannot say enough good things about the front office staff, the maintenance, the complex and the amenities, and how good everyone has been in helping maintain my unit during deployments. EXTREMELY MILITARY FRIENDLY!

Just went to these apartments to tour and sign a lease because they are considerably more affordable than other places in town.... So we thought. Their prices are listed incorrectly due to a "glitch" in the system. For a two bedroom they advertise anywhere from $1038-$1063, when in reality they range from $1199-$1274 based on how long you sign a lease. I was fully intending on renting from this company and now I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
