The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at THE WELLINGTON
DO NOT LIVE HERE OR RENT FROM AION THEY ARE AWFUL!!! We lived at The Wellington for 3 years and it was terrible from start to finish. The rent was raised $100-$200 every year but NOTHING WAS DONE. We moved in during the middle of summer and had broken AC. Maintenance told us we were “out of season” and we didn’t get a new one until the NEXT June. Within a month max we had mice. Maintenance came and told me the apartment didn’t have holes for mice and didn’t do anything AT ALL. Then the bugs came. Roaches everywhere. 5 maintenance requests were put in within a few month span and 3 WERE IMMEDIATELY MARKED CLOSED WITH NO CALL/EMAIL/TEXT AND NO MAINTENANCE OR EXTERMINATOR VISIT. The office NEVER answers calls and they have at leasti 15 phone numbers for some reason. If gsomeone does answer they ALWAYS tell you they work at a different location and transfer you to a voicemail box. And their office is always locked with a “be back later”. In three years I only came to see an open office two times. We also came home on Christmas Eve one year to NO HEAT OR HOT WATER and it wasn’t fixed until winter was over. For a short period they made us turn a lever in the bathroom closet on and off and that only allowed you to use 0 or 100% heat ni in between. They say the outside doors to your building are always locked and that no solicitors are allowed on the property but I had MULTIPLE come to my door LATE AT NIGHT and nothing was done about it. DO NOT LIVE HERE
I have lived at the Wellington for 12 months. I can safely say that this place is a COMPLETE waist of your money. Please do not consider moving here. For the last 11 months we have had a constant leak in our ceiling. The “contractors” came out MULTIPLE times and still, the leaking ceiling continues. Work orders upon work orders and nothing gets done. Or they start but never gets finished. Upon that, we have complained about the mice in our kitchen multiple times. They were literally eating us dry. All of our food- eaten by these mice. Still, nothing done other than a few traps put on the floors. The landscape looks nice but if you look close enough you will see dog poop EVERYWHERE. be careful where you walk here because again- nothing gets done other than an email being sent out. Finally, the prices are JACKED and NOT WORTH IT. The apartments are so small and you have no space for anything. Kitchens small, barely any closet space, the washer and drier are SHOVED in your bedroom closet so you quite literally have no room. You can find bigger and better elsewhere, DONT SETTLE FOR THIS PLACE LIKE WE DID.
I am currently residing here and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The worst apartments in the area. Worst is an understatement. The windows leak and it's get so closed at night, because the windows leak, that it's not worth staying. The maintenance is so bad, that if you put a call, they come after 3-4 weeks and that not even finish the work. The customer service is extremely poor. The utilities bill is never itemized and it is all divided between tenants. It is NOT AS YOU USE. It is divided and you never get the details or meter readings of your utilities bill, so they can charge whatever they want. The utility bill keeps increasing very month because you can never check. The apartments are broken from inside, light fixtures are broken, windows are broken, doors are broken. No assigned parking for any apartments, so if you are late, you need to park far and walk with all grocery and shopping. They market they have gym, it is unusable and broken. Very few equipments which doesn't even work properly. Also it super unhygienic in the gym. I am very disappointed with these apartments. I would never recommend anyone.
Service here at the Wellington Apartments in Hatboro is unacceptably poor. In addition the roaches that run rampant in my unit (despite repeated notices to maintenance), the overflowing trash bins, and the noisy neighbors who scream, slam doors, and run throughout their unit all night and day, the management refuses to respond to tenants’ concerns or to even call them back(since no one is ever in the office). The heat is out in my building and we have received no updates about when it will be fixed. Of course, respectful management would find a solution and adjust the tenants’ rent, but they are so inefficient in their communication that not even that has occurred. I can therefore not in good conscience recommend this place to anyone.

Even with new ownership and management this place has not improved. The buildings were poorly maintained in the past and are constantly having issues. If you don’t like black grit in your water bath water, I would look somewhere else.
This seems like a very nice community, and so I applied and was approved but chose to live somewhere else nearby instead. Note that I was double-charged the application fee, and the sum though promised for a refund was not so that I had to dispute it via my credit card company because it was clearly a mistake. Also there is a $200 deposit that can be applied to the security deposit at move-in, so make sure you are committed before you even apply. That $200 deposit is a hidden application fee, and they should disclose it upfront when advertising but they do not. Business practices of this management company, given these two facts, are highly questionable.

Hello, and thank you for your review. Since your experience, The Wellington has changed ownership and management, and we invite you to come visit the new Wellington!
My wife and I have been living at Wellington for around 7 months now. We enjoy the landscape and the attention to detail the Wellington staff takes. Our apartment if perfect for us. The neighbors are nice and the staff is very attentive. I love living at a place that is friendly. People are always walking dogs, taking advantage of the dog park by the pool. I have lived in apartments where people don't talk to each other and we are glad we have found a place the makes us feel at home. Kitchen came like new nice cabinets and appliances. The laundry situation is smooth we don't have to go outside to do it just go downstairs and there are multiple machines which helps. Overall it has been great living at Wellington, my wife and I will probably stay for the next couple of years. -Jeremy Gonzalez
