Downtown Spokane offers residents something unique: waterfalls in the middle of the city. Residents of Downtown Spokane enjoy watching the water at play as they walk along the banks of the Spokane River. Riverfront Park, the site of the 1974 World's Fair, holds more attractions, including the INB Performing Arts Center, the Spokane Chiefs Hockey Club, and a carousel that's more than 100 years old. Also in the park, you can find the Spokane Shock Arena, which regularly hosts arena football, concerts, and figure skating.
Downtown Spokane makes it easy for residents to walk to work or stroll the streets to shop, dine, or grab a beer. The Flour Mill, a renovated, 100-year-old mill, houses eclectic specialty shops and fine dining options while restaurants such as Mizuna and Anthony's at Spokane Falls let diners enjoy a view of the river as they eat. Downtown Spokane is home to Washington State University Spokane, and just across the river to the northeast is Gonzaga University.

Property Ratings at The Warren Apartments
This place is about 50% Airbnb type units. They rent to individuals and “companies” who use the units for short terms rentals. Random people in and out day and night. NO security for residents. Staff is almost NEVER in, they don’t respond to texts or emails or phone calls. Parking garage is $300/month and you have a few inches of space between you and the spot(s) next to. Dirty building, dog hair in elevators, dog POOP on rugs outside the elevator doors. Overpriced, hundreds of $ in fees monthly tacked on to rent. No one to contact if issues arise.
Ignore padded reviews. Had 11 apts. ALL had plumbing issues. Incompetent staff, & HUGE fees. Expect sewage farts monthly smelling up your place from backed up gas lines. Poorly constructed. Elevators constantly out of service.
The location is sort of good and at first glance, it seems reasonable, especially when they offer you "free rent"... but alas nothing in life is free. Move in "charges" fully mitigate any rent credits and rental agency has 100's of fees and "reimbursements" they off load on their tenants instead of accepting them as a cost of running an apartment building (e.g. keeping lights on in the hallways), leaving the tenants to pay over 22% more a month than the lease indicates. They advertise parking, but a spot in the garage is not available for years because they are claimed by the apartments the rental agency uses as AirBnbs, "Corporate leases", and staff.
I toured a lot of buildings in downtown Spokane and most of the other places were old and tired. The Warren was by far the nicest place I saw. I'm obsessed with the Co-Op and its literally across the street. SO excited to move in!
