Property Ratings at The Vista at Winter Park
Thank you to Yaritza for going above and beyond and being so patient with my family and showing us multiple units. She was truly a pleasure and very knowledgeable of her work and you can see, she takes pride in her work.
The townhome we were promised was not at all what we got. We were told the townhome was under new renovation and then we found out that really someone was currently living there! The welcome letter we received and the unit we applied for was not the unit they showed us. Not even the same street address or unit number. The management never disclosed any room dimensions to us even after countless times we asked. For the record, both the “master bedrooms” are about 9x9 feet. I measured out my basic queen size bed frame that is 6x7 feet and it never would’ve fit inside the room comfortably. The AC unit in the unit was disgusting. Covered in black dust and filth. The carpet on the stairs was matted down and reeked of must. Most of the closets were dented or uneven and all were incredibly small. The management insisted we pay a $899 security deposit before we ever received a copy of the lease to review. We ended up NOT signing the lease or moving into the townhome. They never gave us information when we requested it, never gave us any paperwork of pricing or documentation, and never verified they even received our security deposit. They also didn’t allow us to view our unit and see the size until the DAY before we were set to move in. All the “amenities” are extremely disappointing. A gym that includes 3 machines total and a tiny pool. I wouldn’t trust this place with any money or hopes of a secure, safe, happy place to live.
So far we have had a great experience with Property Manager Herby Sincere, he is super welcoming, professional and polite, always ready to help with any questions we have and to try to solve the problems as best as possible. The entire process prior to move-in was very smooth, the apartment was in good condition, and so far we are happy to have chosen this community as our new home.
Lived here two separate times for a total of 3 years. Gene and Melissa are great people and always addressed any issues promptly and effectively. Apartments are spacious and clean to live comfortably. When moving in the second time I was put in at the front of the line giving me a sense of ease. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.
I absolutely love this complex. It Is clean and always maintained. Landscaping is always nice and the pool is always clean. It has beautiful scenery on the property and gives a relaxing vibe to the entire complex. Additionally, the staff is wonderful. The apartment manager, Melissa, is just delightful. She makes me feel welcomed. Gene is equally as amazing and is always on his game. If I ever have any issues (which is rarely) they are on top of it and quickly at that. Melissa and Gene show their love for this complex by how much effort they personally put in it themselves. I constantly see them running around and making sure everything is running smoothly. If I could recommend any place to feel at home, it would be here, at Tealwood. This may sound to good to be true, but it’s not. I adore my home that I have made here and I couldn’t ask for a better experience with the staff!

Highly recommended apartments in the winter park area. The apartments are nicely built and very well taken care of. Very safe community and quite place to live. I myself have been here for years and love it! Gene and melissa in the office are very polite and respectful. Customer service is exceptional. Maintenance staff always completing service request in a timely manor. They are the best in town with great rates!

I have been living at Tealwood for about 7 months and it is absolutely the best complex to ever exist!! The property is always clean and neat. There is not one paper on the floor. Each building number is well kept. When ever I need help with my apartment (maintenance) repairs are always completed in 24/48 hours. The maintenance staff is so respectful and timely. If there is a task that will take longer than expected Maintenance or management will always keep you abreast of the timing and updates until the project is completed. If I ever have a question, Melissa and Gene are always eager to resolve the matter to ensure I am satisfied with where I live. My children just love Melissa and Gene because they are always welcoming and a joy to be around. You can truly tell that they love what they do and why they do it! Anyone seeking a safe and peaceful place for their family to reside, TEALWOOD is the place and Melissa, Gene and Henry (maintenance) will make you at HOME! I thank GOD I found them!!!
Lived there for a year and it was not a pleasant experience. The Office Manager, Melissa, is nice to you so that you will rent there until you have a legitimate complaint and then things change. She can be rude and condescending, totally unprofessional at times. The maintenance crew sucks, they are lazy, rude and totally not trustworthy. Don't trust them for nothing, they're sneaky and lazy also. The siding on the outside of our building was filthy and full of dead bugs so we asked for them to pressure wash the siding because we were actually embarrassed when we had visitors, that's how bad and filthy it was. They finally cleaned it a year later, 2 days before we were to move out, Melissa at her finest! This is the first time I give out such a negative review but it's because these folks really are two faced and sneaky. Look elsewhere if you want a good experience!
