The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Village at Granada Hills
Honestly this place would be so much better if it wasn’t for the roaches. At any given time you will see them. Between the months of July and October if you walk around the complex you see roaches everywhere. It’s pretty gross. And no matter how much you clean up your apartment they will infiltrate your dwelling. Staff is friendly enough but are not phased by the roaches to the point where the manager literally told me that it’s normal for the roaches to be out because it’s hot. I have lived in plenty of places and never seen it this bad. Supposedly they have regular pest control guys come by but you couldn’t tell. The city should tear these apartments down and just start over. I would love living here except for the fact that I’m greeted by roaches every morning … and pretty much anytime I come home from work. Just save your money and live somewhere else.
Property Manager at The Village at Granada Hills, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your feedback. We take concerns like yours very seriously, and we're sorry to hear about your experience. Pest control is a top priority for us. Our property is serviced by a professional pest control company twice a month, and we are actively working with them to adress and eliminate any persistent issues- both inside units and throughout the community grounds. While warmer months can increase pest activity across the region, it should never reach the level you described, and we are taking steps to ensure it doesn't. We're also evaluating additional prevention measures to better support our residents' comfort and peace of mind. We encourage you to reach out to our office directly so we can resolve any remaining issues in your home. Thank you again for your feedback-it helps us continue improving for all our residents.
