Property Ratings at The Taylor at Winter Park
This place is awful. The pool has been out of order since July and we have had 3 different managers over 4 months who over promise and underdeliver on repairs. I have had roaches, spiders, and ants (and I am very clean). The solve was them giving me a spray bottle to spray my own apartment down since they don't have pest control at the moment, but still collect $5/month for it. I have had mildew in my in-wall ac unit (which is poorly constructed into the wall) for months and no one has fixed it. The laundry rooms are disgusting and the on-site gym facilities is literally just some weights and a treadmill. I am moving out as soon as I can. I know the prices look good, but trust me, you get what you pay for.
I am relocating from Jacksonville to Winter Park. My job gave me very short notice. I looked into several different apartments and houses for rent in the Orlando area. Giselle is the friendliest person I have spoken to during this very stressful process. She has put me at easy. She is also very competent at her job. I move into my apartment at Winter Park Village soon. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. If you are considering moving into an apartment in Winter Park, I highly recommend this place. The prices are also reasonable for the area. Call Giselle. She is an outstanding property manager!
We happend to stubble on this little gem... the office staff is very helpful. The apartments are in great shape for being older... the neighborhood is very quiet and looks to have a good amount of older people. Which we love. The grounds are kept so neat and tidy. The roads are smooth and not full of potholes. Makes me wish we found this place a year ago before moving into the disaster of community prior to here.. Karla was amazing and wish we had more time with her before moving to a larger company! However the new office staff are equally amazing ?? .. the dumpsters are cleared a few times a week from what i see and they are never over flooding with garbage.. I would comment on the hard working valet trash people but unfortunately we have yet to see them and we been here for 13 days but luckily we live 60 ft from the dumpsters lol.... the price of rent is super fair and they definitely do not over charge.... sooooooo glad we moved here..
had a great experience living here but just recently moved out due to changing jobs and states, my husband and I paid for an extra month of rent (when we weren't even living here) so that my husband could thoroughly clean the apartment from top to bottom. We scrubbed everything down for literally a month, we even bought new stove top drip pans and ice cube trays just to make sure that we didn't get penalized for anything. We cleaned the fridge out multiple times as well as thoroughly cleaned the stove and stove top. We followed the move out check list that the apartment provided to us and made sure that everything was completely done, I don't think we have ever been so particular about cleaning anything in our life. But here is our advice, don't even worry about cleaning a thing because they are still going to charge you your full security deposit. They claimed that the counters and sink weren't clean and charged us 45.00 to clean a sink as well as the fact that there was rust in the sink and it was not dirt so not really that isn't our fault either. They claimed the fridge hadn't been cleaned and that there was dirt underneath the stove which ended up coming out to 240 dollars for them to clean? I called to discuss it and I have never been treated so rudely in my life. My mother in law also tried to discuss it with the staff members and they claimed that the financial assistant wasn't available at this time and she could call back later, my mother in law then looked online at the staff directory to see that the financial assistant that she had spoken to at the time of her visit was the one that claimed she was not available? She then tried to cover up her lie and say she was on lunch break? Come on people, now you are just blatantly lying. Please, don't waste your time.

Moved in about six months ago and I couldn't have made a better decision. Everything from the helpful leasing agents to my neighbors are incredible. When you walk in the leasing office you feel at home already. In a great area close to shopping, trails, and local schools. Maintenance are on top of any issues that may arise. Altogether an amazing apartment complex.

Thank you so much for taking your time to write a review. The office and maintenance teams work very hard every day to make sure service is delivered as quickly as possible with professionalism and kindness.
My husband and I went looking apartments today and there is nothing available, there is even a waiting list and no one has announced a move-out date. I believe there in no turnover due not from the apartments but the surrounding area are excellent. This is amazing for young couples. There is a Panera, Starbucks and Wholefood on a walking distance. Sure would like to have seen a beam of hope to move to this place but sadly no :(

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review. The location is ideal for area and convenience. Renters that start researching several months ahead of their ideal move date can apply, be screened and approved in advance, and can expect to move in within 60-90 days. The answer is to start looking early. Those that do not look for an apartment until 30-60 days before they want to move will probably not be able to get an apartment. We are happy to work with wait list applicants and keep them informed during the wait list process from tour, application, through move in day-:)
These apartments are very quiet and have a great location. They are just minutes from Park Ave and just a few more to downtown Orlando. I'm in walking distance to many restaurants and grocery stores. The only draw back is the coin laundry.
