The Summit at Coates Run

The staff is very friendly and the maintenance team does a great job of fulfilling our requests in a timely manner. It is a beautiful place to live for a decent price. The bus transportation is also great, especially when the weather isn’t so nice!

Overall, a very solid experience. Only downside is that the location is somewhat unwalkable, having to wait for the bus is a damper on the living experience.

Love living here!!!! All of the staff are the sweetest!! The resident events are also a plus and we are able to connect with other residents and the staff!

Love how close it is to school and that there’s a bus that takes you to campus. Maintenance is very friendly and comes quickly once a work order has been put in.

Overall a great space! Parking could be better but beds and baths are spacious and comfy. Appliances have all worked and if something breaks maintenance is quick to fix it.

I have really enjoyed my time at Summit, the staff is always so friendly and the activities planned are a ton of fun! I look forward to living here next year!

Great for college students, pretty well built as well, with lots of amenities. Fairly quiet compared to the rest of the city's apartments. The location is fantastic for Ohio University students.

It’s my first time in the US, and the place is great! The bedroom is very spacious for my liking. The leasing office people were very helpful and responded to my mails on time. I’m loving the place by far.

Pretty good apartment want to get it cleaned? You will walk into it dirty and nasty because the cleaning people don't know how to do. Their job maintenance is really quick. A good parking.

Common area is not well maintained. Dirty and rusty. The interior Wall was not cleaned well or retouched well. Model room looked wonderful. Most people who work in the office are very nice and the office was very inviting.

I have lived at the summit for 2.5 years now. The office staff is always helpful and the maintenance staff is incredible. Im looking forward to living here for another 1.5 years!!

Staff is really nice and very helpful! Amenities are great too! My favorite is the resort-style pool. I’m excited to renew my lease next year!

I love living here! The community events are so fun, the staff and maintenance are friendly, and it has such a nice view of Athens. The apartment itself is great, I love having a private bathroom attached to my bedroom.

I decided to stay at Summit for the spacious rooms, the individual bathrooms and also the shuttle. Those are all amazing things! However the parking here is a little questionable and should be reviewed on how it can better accommodate for everyone.

Best apartment complex so far. Maintenance is very up to date and quick. However, I wish there was a recycling in addition to the trash compactor.

Front desk staff is understanding and open. Higher-positions are understanding and so is maintenance crew. Roommates are decent as well as community around pool.

I've lived at the Summit for two years and I love it! Highly recommend! If you are planning to have guests over, it is unlikely that a parking pass will be available. Yet, there is buses to and from the Summit so it has never been too big of an issue. Any maintenance requests are always quickly handled and the amenities are wonderful.

I love the apartments as they are some of the nicest you can get as an OU student. Awesome AC and renovated apartments are super nice. Great community as well, with lots of events and activities.

For the price, I expected the apartment to be cleaner when moving in. My family and I cleaned for 9 hours on move-in day before even getting our things into the apartment. Previous tenants left black residue from smoking, all of our cloths came up black. We still can't walk on the carpet without shoes. We did 5 passes with a carpet cleaner and the water still came up black. Not to mention, our apartment had fleas for the first few weeks after moving in. Our HVAC system had black mold on it. Conditions were unacceptable to move into, and it's clear that no one checked the apartment before giving us the okay to move in. The only good thing about this situation is that the summit has been responsive to our complaints and has sprayed for fleas and removed the black mold.

I love it! The amenities are amazing! The pool looks super luxury, and the view from the gym is breathtaking! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing and clean apartments, love the community and neighborhood! One thing I love about the summit is that you can hear the Marching 110 practicing and playing all the way from the summit.

Everyone here is very nice, this is a great place to live! My apartment is a great space, I love having my own bathroom. My kitchen and living space is very large and able to accommodate all my roommates.

I love the Summit! It’s perfect for students and families and is such a nice place to be close to campus! I love the pool, gym, and lobby area which is a great place to study outside of your room. I also love how friendly the staff is. They tend to your ever need as soon as they can.

I live in a Beachwood style apartment and I absolutely love it. It is beautiful and spacious, and the Summit made sure that my room was clean and prepared for my move in. So far everyone has been so kind and helpful with settling in to my new apartment!

Great size for an apartment, each room has their own bathroom and location is a great distance from campus. Friendly and very responsive staff and awesome amenities!

The apartment is much bigger than I thought and super cute! Rooms are great sizes, everything works well, and it's a super good deal with all the amenities.

My move-in was a little stressful because my apartment key worked and my room key didn't. Other than that, the apartment has been pretty good so far.

When moving into my apartment today, it was very filthy and a lot of things are broken, leaking, or just extremely dirty/torn. I guess I was expecting more since the summit seemed very nice. Now that I’ve put my stuff up and cleaned a lot, it feels better. However, I do feel like the amount of things that are broken is kind of unacceptable and the state of the apartment is very below what I expected. If they do inspections, it’s hard to believe that these things are just being missed. A lot more work needs to be done to this apartment before it feels like what it should’ve been in the first place.

I have enjoyed living at Summit for the past 2 years and I am excited to stay with them for the next 2 years! They have great staff and amenities!

It's been a smooth experience from the initial inquiry of the space to signing the lease to moving in! It's a quiet neighborhood with wonderful amenities so I would definitely recommend it to anyone finding a place to stay around Athens!

Living at the summit was a great experience. There are lot of areas to spend time with friends in. The staff do a great job at keeping up with the cleanliness on the property.

I love it here it has all the amenities a college kid could ever need. The pool is awesome and I love that it's heated. The game room is nice as well. The apartments are so nice.

Overall I've appreciated living here the past couple years, the amenities are nice, and the people youll meet are great. The water pressure is low and plumbing isn't so great, but it's nothing horrible. Random roommates can be a gamble but for the most part mine have kept to themselves.

Living here has been great! This is my third year living here and it's been very convenient with how close it is to OU. The staff is always really helpful, especially Bethany! She's always so friendly and answers all of my questions!

Pet friendly, really nice apartments, and a free shuttle to campus! I wish there was more parking for guests (you must have a pass to park here) but overall I enjoy it here.

Overall, my experience was great. I love the layout of the apartment and the amenities. Some thing I would change however, is the amount of parking during the school year.

The units are nice, and the staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I go into the office. I also enjoy the communication we receive regarding any changes happening.
