Extending from San Diego State University west to Fairmount Avenue, College West is home to many college students who appreciate the convenience to campus. The university occupies the northeastern corner of the neighborhood and student housing in this area is plentiful. Cross Montezuma Road and head south toward El Cajon Boulevard to find a quieter, more suburban atmosphere. Most of the shops and restaurants in the neighborhood are located along El Cajon Boulevard. This is where you’ll find hotspots like Ackee Tree the real Jamaican Cuisine, the Living Room, Alforon Mediterranean, and RB Sushi.
