It's close to the university. The gym has a nice variety of machines and is clean. I like the secure mailroom that keeps my packages safe. The study rooms have been a great help.
nothing fancy but a nice apartment. the maintenance guys are some of the nicest people i’ve met. they manage a lot of apartments, but always make sure to come in with a smile and explain things. if it’s something small they don’t make you feel stupid, they simply explain it ,fix it, and go about their day.

The apartments are great! I love everything about them. The only thing is maintenance has been a little slow and I put in a work order for my sink and they said they came to fix it but they didn't actually do anything. Other than that I have had a great experience living here!

The apartments here are some of the nicer ones in the area and I really like my room. Maintenance and staff could do better, but they’re not the worst. Decent place to live.

Apartment is nice, but your requests will usually go unnoticed. Took us two months to get a working TV remote. It is a nice place to stay but could be better.

Although it’s more expensive it’s a very nice place with very helpful people. I like that it’s close to campus and a lot of food places. We have had all our maintenance requests checked on even if it sometimes did take some time.

It feel like a home away from home in a sense. Very small and cozy. Nice appliances, good common space, a personal bathroom, you can pay for tv services, that way your able to watch some shows or movies, and this place is fully furnished which is a big plus, love the balcony, and my personal space within my bedroom, just wish it wasn’t on the first floor. Especially in a college town.

I really like how much closet space we have, as well as the location. 5 minute walk to campus and right across the street from McDonalds, how could you go wrong.

Overall have had a great experience living at the Social on Hovey. The maintenance is very quick to respond and resolve issues. It is very simple and easy getting moved in and the only slightly confusing part is setting up payments for rent, and payments for utilities.

I love how close it is to campus and all the restaurants. I also love that we have a parking garage to keep our cars in along with guest spots for when visitors come. Size wise it’s a decent size, It’s comfortable enough and I think the room size is what makes up for the smaller living room. Overall good place

Good facility with nice amenities. Very close to ISU and uptown normal. Only negative is that it is a little pricey. Other than that this is one of the better place in Normal.

I’ve had no complaints it seems quite lovely here. Nice size bedrooms! The only weird thing is that grey rubber string we have to pull in the shower when the water stops, buts that’s about it!

I like all of the amenities that are offered here and that we can park in the parking garage. I wish the access cards were in the form of a key fob so they are easier to use. Even though everything is separated and the room is locked in the luxerOne delivery room, other residents have opened my packages and gone through them.

I like living here everybody is in their own world and it isn’t too loud. The people here are nice and has a welcoming atmosphere to them. i would recommend to live here.

Great! Love living here! The only negative issue I have is it is so hot in my apartment! The thermostat is an issue between myself and my other three roommates. There are nights we cannot sleep due to it being so hot we are sweating at night.

Pretty good! Some things are iffy in the appartment but maintenance fixed it. Other than that it is a great place to live I feel secure. The tvs aren’t smart tho so get a Roku.

The apartment was not very clean at time of move in, there were many things wrong with the apartment. The room we viewed before signing a lease was not like our room at all. I definitely think things need to be improved at the social. There should have been many things fixed before allowing residents to move in. My unit is not the only unit having issues at time of move in either, we spoke with other residents and their unit had issues at the time of move in too. The elevator and hallways are not very clean either. Definitely would take time considering other apartment complexes before signing with the Social.

It's been great so far. No complaints besides the water pressure being mediocre in the showers. The porch is very convenient, and all the furniture is very nice.

I love living here so far and my roommates are wonderful! It truly feels like home here already. There's typical apartment things (like putting in maintenance requests and we are right next to a busy street so it can be a bit noisy at times), but you will find that with any apartment no matter what. I think this is a great place to live and I really enjoy it so far! I'm looking forward to the memories we will make here this year!

So far it is really good and everything is nice. My roomates are all pretty cool and chill. It is super quiet at night still nobody is really throwing parties which is good.

There was a handful of things wrong with my unit that’s still being worked on. The maintenance staff is super cool and looking to solve your problem quickly. The reason this is 3 stars is because our fridge has been filling up with water and it ruined groceries and hasn’t been fixed after 4 days

Everyone was super nice and welcoming. They answered and clarified any questions I had. The process was smooth overall even if the line was a bit long.

great apartment, shower did not work and got water does not work either, it is a nice location for commuting to illinois state if you attend

I have been loving my experience so far. I love the gym, the large closet, and the personal bathroom. The only downside is my microwave did not come working. Overall the area is very convenient and the parking space being included in the rent is nice.

Great location to the college campus. Having an in-house washer and dryer is convenient and saves money. The apartment is overall spacious and the private bathroom is a plus. However, my apartment and my bathroom was outdated and the cleaning of the common areas was subpar.
