Honestly, The Shores has everything that I need! I love the location, sometimes traffic gets a little spicy because of Paycom but it's manageable and really doesn't bother me. The office staff has been really friendly and generous with their time. Helping me relocate to OKC with the best recommendations has been above what I expect an apartment community staff to offer. Matthew has been especially helpful and the manager has been extremely kind as well! All in all, a great experience so far. Happy to call this place home.

We’ve been here about 6 months and are really enjoying our new home. The apartment is roomy and love the outdoor environment. The pond is great for walking around and we see people catching fish all the time from catch and release pond. People that live here are friendly and the staff is great. Maintenance staff is great and work hard at keeping up the whole complex looking and running. The complex is quiet and peaceful. The play ground is nicely kept up and children seem to enjoy it. I would recommend this IRT property to rent from.

Apartments are spacious and modern. I love how close it is to the Paycom office. The fishing lake is a huge bonus too. I don't fish but it is really nice to hang out around and look at. They also have two pools rather than just one so I never see too many people at the pool at once... I also like that your rent can get reported to the credit bureaus to boost my credit score. Overall a great place in my opinion. :)

I've been living at The Shores Apartments for a while now, and I must say it's been an exceptional experience. The management team, especially Faith, goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Faith is always approachable, understanding, and genuinely cares about the residents. She handles any concerns with professionalism and a warm demeanor. Patrick, another valuable member of the management team, is equally impressive. He is always ready to assist and ensures that residents feel heard and valued. His commitment to creating a positive living environment is evident in his day-to-day interactions. A special shoutout to Arlington from the maintenance team! He is incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. Whether it's a minor fix or a significant repair, Arlington addresses maintenance issues promptly and effectively, always with a friendly attitude. They add fees that shouldn’t be added then refuse to take them off your bill, many times charging the same fees twice but in different amounts and supposedly for different reasons that are supposed to make it okay. So shady. They have also added property tax before to my monthly bill when I don’t own this apartment, that’s the owner of the property’s tax to pay. Thankfully that charge they did remove when I contacted the office, but I can’t help but wonder how many residents paid it not realizing they shouldn’t be or how many are still paying it. Because if it was able to be added to my account by “mistake” then who knows how many mistakes are not being corrected. They force you to use a trash service that forgets to pick up the trash charging you 30.00 a month for the “service” then charge you again 17.00 more dollars each month also for trash. Meanwhile you have to take the trash out yourself anyway so just throwing away 30.00 a month and they act like their hands are tied and they just can’t let you cancel the service which is ludicrous. They can remove fees if they wanted to or credit the account. It’s not rocket science. They charge a utility fee of 5.95 a month on top of water and sewer charges and add admin fees and anything they feel like. They also never answer the phone at the office where you can only email them and many times get no response. Horrible communication. I usually have to take off work to go in person to the office to get ahold of anyone. There are spiders and bugs and everything is ran down and falling apart while they act like they are luxury apartments. I already have renters insurance but they still charged me for their own and refuse to take off the charges. The apartment itself has trouble staying heated and cooled and my electric costs tripled when I moved in here compared to my old apartment with a different company. I am very disappointed in my experience here as I thought this would be a long term home for me and I hate moving, but I don’t like being taken advantage of either so I will be moving when my lease is up.
I never leave reviews, but charges for something that’s not valid is ridiculous. Lived there two years and have heard from multiple people that they charge pet owners for new carpet when they move out. My carpet was exactly the way it was when I left as the day I moved in. They claim that there were pee stains which never happened. They pulled the carpet saying that that’s how they found them and that my pictures aren’t valid but while I was living there never saw other apartments get their carpet pulled after moving out- but they claim they do it to all apartments (not true). When I moved in there was dog hair everywhere from the previous tenant. Definitely didn’t move into new carpeting. Also puke and unknown substances in my trash cans that they provide. I know they’ve had multiple companies take over since I’ve been here, so there’s no way that they knew the condition of what was underneath my carpet when I moved in. Sorry, not possible and very clever of them to claim that it’s under the carpet since clearly I couldn’t have seen that when I moved out.
They are fast, polite and give me a family vibe
Rent was becoming to high. The office personnel could have been a little more friendly and warm.
I do appreciate the privacy of the townhome and the convenience of the attached garage. The maintenance team and valet trash service is a big positive as well. The pool and the lake are very aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend touring the facility beforehand.
The cleanliness of the grounds was the best of any place we looked. Loved garbage pick up.
Love the location and the pond. Price is a bit high.
We would recommend the property to our friends who would enjoy being near the lake. We would recommend the Shores based on our apartment's layout. But the mounting problems with the grounds, the apartment, the appliances, some of our neighbors, and rising prices make it hard to recommend. The current state of the complex doesn't justify the price.
I am torn an reserved about this one. I don't want ANY RENTER to have to go what I went through. It was ridiculous and not necessary, esp. after the stress of just selling my home and moving, which should be a totally joyous event of both selling, AND moving to someone new. When I do recommend, I will pay they never have to experience what I did.
The gate situation is awful but everything else is great for the most part.
The office is always helpful, the maintenance guys are always polite and prompt. The couple of things why I would not recommend living here, the hallways are so dirty from people not using their trash can outside, it's embarrassing when I have company and the dog waste around the walking path is terrible. Other than that I enjoy living here.

I have not ever had any major issues here. Its kept up and there is really not a whole lot more you could ask for. Except maybe some deals on garages for residents that have lived here for more than a year. Its clean and the neighbors seem like kind people. Office staff is diligent and the maintenance crew is kind and swift.

I like the community, I've lived here 2 years never had an issue. Some of the newer residents are a little loud but still not bad, overall probably the best apartment community I've ever lived in.

The shores is a very professional, Safe, and luxury place to call home. These apartments have many additional features that are convenient. For the price of rent, you will get your money's worth in the style of the apartments, the amenities, and the wonderful staff.
The interior of the unit was great. The exterior and common grounds were not maintained at a level equal to the rent.

We loved living at the shores and would recommend it for the nice apartment condition, pretty grounds, and friendly staff. The rent did increase quite a bit in our 3 years there, and we were disappointed to be charged a $70 cleaning fee we were never told about in the beginning despite leaving the apartment in great condition and spending a lot of time cleaning after we moved out. We also would have enjoyed a working hot tub and gate more of our stay there, as both were frequently broken. Overall we would recommend the shores to anyone looking for an apartment!

The leasing agents are highly professional and you can tell they actually care about their jobs and their residents, something that's hard to come by with many other complexes. The apartments are also really nice inside and the grounds are perfectly maintained. All in all it just feels "homey" from the minute you drive through the gates.

Hello, Thank you very much for your feedback on the trash and the pet waste. We utilize an outside vendor to provide the valet trash service. We apologize for nights your trash has been missed. We would love for you to contact the office to provide us with dates that the trash was missed so we can forward it to the appropriate team member and ensure the apartment is tracked. We apologize that other residents were not picking up after their pets. We make a point of consistently communicating our pet rules and have our maintenance team checking the grounds every day. Please contact the office if you are able to identify any owners or pets causing the pet waste to be left on the grounds and not picked up. We sincerely apologize that these items caused a less than stellar outlook on the community but will work to improve this so you can continue to find your happy at The Shores!
This service request is a great improvement from previous requests. The level of communication was very good. I was informed on the possible completion date of the repair.

The location is great but there are lots of updates my apartment could have used BEFORE I moved in - new carpet, for one. Kitchen floors that stay stuck down and don't slide around.

It has space for storage and is open and roomy, but also the pond outside is beautiful and ther's 2 pools!

Make sure they live near the entrance of the complex
The community is not as clean as it was a few years ago. The atmosphere is not as upscale as the price point reflects that it should be.
No BBQ is a big deal. High rates is even more of a big deal. The entire property is excellent. The staff are excellent
James and his coworkers were so friendly and helpful. I did not feel like I was bothering him at all and he made me feel completely satisfied with my new apartment.
