Property Ratings at The Rosetta Apartment Homes
Everyone is so warm and friendly, the Maintenance staff is courteous and respectful.
These apartments are in dire need of an upgrade. The walls are thin (I could hear neighbors using the restroom and they could probably hear me, how embarrassing). Appliances were probably from the 80s. What was extremely disappointing was the laundry facility. When I moved to the Coronado Trails (now known as The Rosetta)and went to use the laundry room, I could see there were 5 washing machines, 3 were broken with handwritten signs that they were out of service, and guess what, they're still broken. One of the machines was taken away, maybe thrown away. When anyone needs to do laundry, they have to wait if someone is already using the last 2 working washing machines. Some people aren't courteous and leave their clothes inside for longer than they should. The washing machines don't wash your clothes well either. I strongly recommend not washing heavily soiled clothes in those cheap outdated washing machines. I doubt they wash at all. One more thing, the pool is always closed. It was only worth living there for the cheap rent. That made up for a lot of it.
This is a smaller complex just as I was hoping for the people here are so Welcoming I really am happy to live here the complex manager Ms Sylvia really explained in detail all the rules and regulations and gave me a well informed tour of the complex as to why I applied on the spot I really felt like this was the place for us it has fantastic water pressure even the faucet water is good to drink and I never do that but found myself having to and boy was I surprised the 2 bedroom unit is so much larger then what I found elsewhere also the laundry washing machines also do a great job on our clothing the people that live here are such friendly kind neighbors Thank you Coronado trails for having us and for the beautiful unit we will call home for years to come!
Well first of all, the room sizes are perfect. The complex are very good. The neigborhood very nice and very quiet area. But all this have two bad things: the lady from the office “Candy” she is nice but she does with the office hours what she wants sometimes she is never in the office and she just put the sign that “will be back in seconds” but never come back even that she live in the front of the office. Also, sometimes she smokes in the pool area with her puddle dog, RULES ON THE POOL AREA (NOT ANIMALS ALLOWED). Second, The maintenance guy is nice but he is old and he doesn’t clean all the area, all the time he only clean the pool area and that’s it, in the other hand, always is bird poop, leaves, and dog poop in all the place. Therefore, sometimes death birds appear in the pool and they just put a cup of Clorox on it.
Close to Coronado High School, it is a surprisingly quiet neighborhood. I have accidentally, left my car lights on, and I got called by the landlady giving me heads up. I have not had a single issue with any of my the multiple neighbors in the two years I have been here. The upper management is the only issue. If you leave a message after hours, the landlady doesn't get it until three days later. If you sign up for paperless, sometimes you wont get a bill. However, the local management is very responsive, professional, and easy to talk to. Candy, the landlady, is very professional. She gets things done in a promptly manner and if there is an issue keeps you informed. The apartment are old so they have had some issues with the air conditioners and some appliances, but for they get them resolved. The exterior on the side of the street isn't really anything to look at but the interior landscape is decent. The single bedroom and bath is 720sq ft, which is a good size. The bedroom can fit a queen comfortably with some room for a small dresser. There is no lack of storage space except in the kitchen. You have 2 closets at the entrance and 2 closets in the bedroom. My only desire for the floor plan is to have removed the wall between the kitchen and the eating section. The kitchen could be better organized and with some more storage for pot/pans, but then again I cook a lot. Also wish they could update the bathroom a bit, but it is functional. Overall, very nice apartments.
