I have lived here for 5 years now and they have been amazing. Everyone here is wonderful and help full when helping me resolve issues I have had in the past. From maintenance to everyone else, especially Lilian she has gone above and beyond to help me solve any issues I have ever had. She is amazing at her job and I appreciate everything she has done. Over all my experience living here for the past have lived here has been amazing and everyone here is super friendly and help full. Thank you for making this place so accommodating to me and my family, and an amazing place to live at.

I've now spent a year living at the Retreat. I live in an apartment with a laundry machine of my own. It simplifies matters. When I have any worries, the management takes care of them right away. It's a fantastic area to live.

Overall my resident experience has been good. Every staff member has been friendly and work orders have been completed in a timely manner. I understand that prices do go up each year, but for the price it would be nice to have the landscaping in the unit hallways and in front of unit entrances to be improved. I have been here for over one year and these areas aren’t tended to or maintained. Plants are dead and it is basically areas of dirt. It would be nice if these areas matched the other improvements that have been made over the past several months.

I moved into that property six years ago and have been very happy with the nature of the management and staff. It’s nice to see all of the improvements with my property and the adjacent property acquired by the new ownership. It looks like they’re very forthcoming with improving both properties and making them appear and function the best they possibly can.

the 1st year living here was okay considering we didn't have a lot of maintenance issues. after resigning the lease there was a lot of things falling apart and leaks that went ignored or handled in a very untimely matter by the maintenance department. I made a work order in July about a leak coming into my living room via window frame being eaten away by mold its now November and nothing has been done I had to contact the city of Thousand Oaks and still no fixes have been made.

When something breaks in the unit they are fast to take care of it pool area looks well taken care of trash area parking lots everything always well kept

I have lived in this complex for around 3-4 years now and there have been many improvements and upgrades. Maintenance is friendly and helpful along with office staff.

Nice little community. Love being close to schools, restaurants and the two malls. Also great being close to the golf course and hiking and Mountain bike trails. I can jump right on my bike to the trail head.

Good: Great place to live; normally quick response on service requests. Bad: Yearly rent raises are between $100-200 per month making it almost impossible for families to live here. They do have a lot of college kids since they pile in the apartments four - six per and split the $3000.00 per month (4 bd) between them. A family with two incomes cannot compete with that.
The apartment is great and has everything we need. The A/C is a must living here during the summertime. The apartment layout is great and makes it great for entertaining. They also have a great club house for those who want to have a little more room to themselves or to party. There is new appliances but the cabinets in the kitchen needs updating. The outdoor patio sizes can vary by unit, we ended up with a smaller one but the rent doesn't adjust which was a little frustrating. Other than that I can't complain.
