First off I’m really not the person to ever write a bad review, but this place TRULY deserves a bad review. To the initial move in of being sold something not true by a former employee “Lima” and was told she was fired due to promising things, being told we can cancel our move in with a legit U-Haul parked in front because of us pointing out things Lima promised and they didn’t care. To the COUNTLESS times across the past year it’s taken me 10,20,30 times SERIOUSLY to even get them on the phone. To having a real bad roach problem and the pest control not caring AT ALL saying it is what it is so we had to fix it ourselves with front office not caring at all. Maintenance takes so so long to get things done, they tell you what you wanna hear to get you off the phone and never do what there saying there gonna do, you have to stay on them like children. The front gate was down forever for it to come back up for legit a week and half and it’s down again never works, pools always either dirty or shut down. There was so many hidden fees we didn’t know about until we were there signing for our lease on move in day and basically being bullied into it, We truly came in with great intentions and now we are SO HAPPY we are moving out tomorrow, This place ABSOLUTELY SUCKS and I thank god I don’t ever have to deal with these people again. Move somewhere better. This place is a 0/5 if I could press that. I’ve been waiting to write this review for MONTHS. Also think mold is growing. So trash

You pay so much for SO LITTLE. Staff is incompetent and responds to you like they’re bots with the same answers constantly. You can pay $35 for a reserved parking stall and then other people always park in and nothing gets done about it. They tell you to contact a courtesy patrol but out of the million times we’ve tried to call, we get no response back. So I’m sure it doesn’t exist. Was harassed by a neighbor after countless noise complaints on them and office staff didn't do anything, they just tell you to call the police. Trashy place, definitely move on and look elsewhere. I know it’s cheaper than a lot of places, but don’t live here!!! Trust me. There are a couple other places that are way nice and a couple hundred dollars cheaper. Tons of empty units because everyone is constantly moving out. Things break constantly. Paint on walls is so crappy if you try to wipe it then paint comes off and you’ll have to buy the paint to fix anything before you move out or you’ll be charged. It’s dark and feels like a cave. Pools are constantly closed. I could go on and on and on. And I know I’ll get some stupid robot responding to this telling me to contact them and they would love to discuss all this with me, but that’s not real either. So spare me!

Been here 2 years a bunch of broken promises pool bathroom been out of order since I moved here front gate as well maintenance request take forever to be completed if they even complete them they try to fine you for everything but never do there part currently looking to move out this is your sign not to move here can’t say you weren’t told I won’t give this place 1 star

Very strict community, but the office staff is very nice. Maintenance will come fast in an emergency but I’ve been waiting now 33 days to get my running toilet fixed and a light changed. I have to call to get things done. I finally asked them to just give me the parts so I can fix things my self.

We moved to The Retreat not so long ago, leasing experience was very good but once we moved to our unit problems started, they are few things that needs to be checked around and maintenance doesn’t seem to have a sense of urgency. We tried reaching out and everything delayed or no response sometimes. Maintenance Manager doesn’t seem to care or the Property Manager.If you can find something else, there are better options. Very disappointed with our experience so far.
I have mice in my apartment and initially I was told they were not responsible that I had to call wildlife control even though I pay for pest control every month
We rented an apartment in building 9. It was roach and mold infested. During our stay I got extremely ill and had to quit my job. At the time we had no idea there was mold until we deep cleaned before move out. I am convinced that my illness was because of that. Maintenance is very kind and will try their best. The offices could careless about your stay and if pest comes. We had to call several times a week to request pest control and get on the list for the next week. I was so thankful to move out and into a different apartment complex. This place is in a safe area of town but not worth the little money you save if you go to a newer apartment. I promise it’s worth staying away from.
I have been searching for a new rental, and found this listing. After contacting the leasing office by phone and by sending an e-mail request, I was able to speak to 2 (two) different agents within 45 minutes of each other. Both agents were extremely polite and friendly, and were very excited to give me ALL the info I wanted. In the end, I decided on a different property (price). But, the eagerness to help a potential tenant was incredible. I wish more companies would be as energetic and responsive as this group.

Do not rent apartment 11! They allowed us to move into a roach infested apartment, the exterminator told us that there has been a roach problem with that apartment for months because the apartment next to it is disgusting. After two months of dealing with them "taking care of" the problem they finally agreed to get us a different apartment when we pack up our lives and try to move into the new one the keys don't work. When we ask the girl working the office on a Saturday to give us thr right keys she says that only maintenance can handle that. We asked to speak with the property manager Whitney instead of the weekend girl and were told that she can't be bothered until Monday, she runs a complex with hundreds of apartments and can't be bothered to deal with problems on the weekend. I get apartment living comes with some negative aspects and accept that but the complete apathy from this complex is staggering. They have no problem letting you move into a roach infested apartment and take zero responsibility for it afterward.

moved in and the apartment looked just like I had hoped. Had a little trouble with my key being hard to open the door but the maintenance man took care of it right away. so far i love my new place

We are now being taken care of and moved to a bigger and nicer apartment considering ours wasnt painted cleaned nothing then everything kept breaking down. But im very satisfied that they took responsibility and are doing the best to make up happy. All place has faults its how they handle them. Thanks to them ill have my apartment clean to my standards and will even be happier here. Its been tuff but new management and they are kicking but to be the best. Also the neighborhood is friendly and safe. Thanks for making us happy and being honest.

Maintenance people are pleasant and punctual but the admin will nickel and dime you for every penny. If there is a way for them to charge you for something, they will. Would not suggest living here.

This place is very old... and broken and dirty everywhere. even try to call and ask for the maintenance, its takes forever... plus office staff and maintenance guys always lie to the customers. Bad customer service....
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DO NOT RENT HERE. I have made numerous complaints and requests to management and they have fallen on deaf ears. They are quick to collect rent and applicable fees but are absent when you need something. I pay rent as expected every month. I therefore expect service, a safe area and a clean environment to live. The property manager is never at the property. I have asked for him numerous times in the four long months that I have been here. I can't wait until August so I can finally leave this place. I often wonder if the property owners are aware that their investment property is deteriorating.

I've been living here a couple years. I'm disabled so moving would be terribly expensive, but I may not have a choice since they increase the rent so much each year. First lease renewal was $78 more the next was $110. They nickle and dime on everything so expect to pay $100 more than the base rent after you add water, trash removal, monthly pest extermination fee, paper fee... Etc. They offer newly remodeled apartments for several hundred more per month but I went with the cheaper model and the appliances are from when the complex was built in 1988. The water heater flooded my apartment 3 times before they replaced it and I went a couple weeks with no hot water. The pipes leaking on several different occasions has left my place looking and smelling like a dump. It ALWAYS takes months and constant badgering to get anything? fixed. Don't be fooled into getting a "wooded view", the trees are dying, many have fallen and they don't pick them up. They also use the wooded view as a dumping ground for all the dead leaves they collect from everywhere else on the property. The wooded view is by the main road and it's loud. They don't clean out the gutters so it's a breeding ground for blood sucking bugs. Don't get me started on the cockroaches... To top it all off the office staff is VERY rude. I can't wait to get out of here!

I have lived at the Paddock club for 2 years now. We loved it when we first moved in. We even had two sets of friends move in to other appartments because it was so nice and friendly. Within the last year the management has changed. Now the management is always cranky, and never listens or helps tenants. No complaint is taken seriously. Above all I recently found out that they made a contract with a local tow company, so they have been towing any car they seem "inopperable", with little or no notice. As soon as we can we are leaving this appartment!

Great area. Very close to shopping centers, a mall, and restaurants. There are two very nice pools that are well maintained. Plus a good gym. Parking can be an issue at times. But neighbors are very friendly. Maintenance crews are professional and on time. Some months they have fun community activities. Area is very spacious. Good schools nearby.
THE PADDOCK CLUB APARTMENTS ARE BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED! NICE ROOMY APARTMENTS, GREAT AMENITIES QUIET LIVING. PET FRIENDLY PEOPLE FRIENDLY AND THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND PERSONABLE. THE RENT IS VERY REASONABLE. JUST LOVE IT HERE!!
I would not recommend the Paddock Club to anyone seeking an apartment. Where do I begin? I pay for pest control each month but they rarely if ever spray my apartment. As a result, my place is infested with roaches, misquitos, and small bugs. I had a leak in my laundry room. They fixed the leak. They never replaced the fixture. Mold began to grow where the fixture should have been. I was without light in my kitchen for a week over thanksgiving. I had to cook for the potluck I was going to without light. I called the day after thanksgiving to see when they were going to replace the light and was told they couldn't give me a definite time. After going off, they sent someone over. I have put in minor work orders. They will cancel the order online without doing the work. I have to resubmit work orders. I currently have a hole in my dining room ceiling caused by a leak. A guy came out to seal the hole but couldn't because he said there was a lot of moisture. I let the property manager know. I'm still waiting on the hole to be fixed. A colleague of mine stays in a different building. She had them come out to repair leaks as well.
I've been living at the paddock club for going on a year. It was never my preference but it's very close to family an im adjusting to life outside the military and decided this will be best. After moving in I quickly noticed the bug issue I reports the issue and was told they would spray my places for bugs the coming Monday. Well several months went by and the issue just got worst an worst. One night while sleeping a roach fail on my husband in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Once he sweeper to the floor he was able to kill it with raid. I reported that and they made it seem like it was a minor issue. I don't know about many people but roaches should not be part of everyday living. Most recently I was using the bathroom and I had a roach fall right into my head. I was extremely shaken up. I reported and they said they would have my place sprayed the following Monday. The best advice I can give anyone is not to rent at the paddock club. The staff does not care about your concerns, they brush it off like it doesn't mean anything. I feel if I pay my rent each month on time these issues should be solved.
Great Customer service. The office personnel is always ready to listen and help. Areas are kept clean. Nice pool for family and specially kids. Administration keeps us informed and also have activities for the community. Apartments are comfortable; nice rooms... Great relaxing forest view.
