It’s quiet here. A lot of Navy & Marines on short leases. As an older woman I love this. I feel safe. It’s a little dated but they’re redoing apartments. Nice little place for the location, price & safety.

Management is friendly and so are the neighbors. It's nice having a big area to walk my dog. I enjoy living here because it's peaceful and quiet.

The staff are very helpful and informative. And the neighborhood is very quiet during the day and night. The apartments are very affordable and compared to other places I have viewed you can't beat their rates. I would recommend these apartments to all of my friends, family, and co-workers.

The move in and transition was very easy. Everybody is super nice here and it's a great quiet community that I'm glad I can be apart of. It's peaceful.

It's a very quiet & peaceful community. Management is very friendly and the neighbors are friendly as well. If something needs to be fixed they make sure to take care of it right away. I really enjoy living here!

Very Blessed to be able to lay my head down here every night. The place seems to somehow get better each day. Totally because of Alyssa, and Heather in the front office. Also Dylan running the maintenance crew Tyler and a shout out to Ryan a very talented and skilled contractor painter! It’s simply amazing what these people do for tenets here.

Amazing staff, and friendly community. Would recommend The Retreat to anyone looking for an apartment close to town. They are quick to tend to work orders, or any questions.

Always a very special place to live. We love it here. Good things are coming to the complex we hear. Hoping for a bigger dog park. We are thankful for the office staff and the maintenance staff. We are lucky to have them.

The neighbors that we’ve met so far have been super friendly! We love our new home and so do our fur babies. The community overall is welcoming and a great place to stay.

I love it here xoxo, everyone in the community is very kind, the rooms are quite spacious. There is even a secondary compartment next to you that allows for extra storage, very innovative.

The move in process was fast and super easy. I already love it here. I cant wait to make my apartment into my own and have an amazing home to come home to

It has been such a great experience living here. The office is always very quick and nice to talk to if I have any questions, the area is really nice, very quiet.

For apartment living I would say all my neighbors are friendly and it’s a seemingly safe neighborhood. Also I love the sharing library by the mail boxes.

As always we love living here. We are going on 3 years now. Office Staff and the Maintenance Staff are always on point. I see us here a lot longer.

Nice, quiet apartments. They have lots of different lease types. A lot of Navy/Marines residents. It's very clean. They are mowing all the time. The grounds are well maintained. Maintenance is there quick if you need something. I live here alone with my dogs. I have never even once felt not safe. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the apartments are a little dated.

Hard to reach people at the office if help is needed or if you have questions but overall, quick move in process and great apartment for value! Love my new home

Best place to live, we are going on 3 years here. Best office staff and the best maintenance staff. The landscape people keep the yard up. Love it here.

The move in process was informative and straight to the point. The keys! The property manager was very friendly and was ready and willing to help!

Enjoy living here. Staff and maintenance are top notch. Overall no complaints. It being winter time, flowers and plants are becoming dormant. Maybe more flowers and sprucing up walkways.

Me and my family love living here .the neighbors are nice and the nights are quiet..the playground are keep nice and clean so when my stepdaughter is here it's nice to sit on the bench and watch her play.

I feel blessed to be allowed to live here!!! 70 years old and treated very well!!! Maintenance team and Alyssa along with Heather in the management office run this complex fantastically. They all work extremely hard!!!!!

The Staff @Retreat our incredibly hardworking, resourceful, and friendly. The upper management do not give the staff the resources to do their job. I've been a resident here for 7 years 5 ms.

The lady that helped us was really great. She was very friendly. She answered all our questions and made the move in process super easy. So far we have no concerns.

I couldn't be happier! The management team is incredibly responsive and friendly, making the leasing process a breeze. The amenities are fantastic, especially the pool and fitness center, which are always well-maintained. The location is perfect, with easy access to shopping and dining. Overall, a great place to live! Highly recommend!

Communication wasn't up to par, couldn't ever reach anyone in the leasing office. Then the whole rental process was done online. Whatever happened to dealing with a live person and customer service??

Decent value for the times. Quality varies from unit to unit. Nice, quiet place with a better parking situation than most. Apartments are fairly spacious

Pretty good so far, love the apartment but some of the features didn’t work when I first moved in. However maintenance was quick and helpful with fixing them.

The move in process was simple and I had options for my deposits that fit my financial situation. The office staff were friendly and answered all my questions.

Amazing set of employees! They are so attentive and in tune to all of our needs. The property is always mowed and edged. Maintenance is constantly picking up the trash and on the ball for our needs.

We love living here, just renewed are lease for the 3rd year. The office staff are amazing and can not leave out the our fantastic maintenance staff.

The apartment layout is nice and it is very comfortable. The front desk is usually very nice. Lately it's hard to get a parking space in front of my apartment so I have to park a lot further down the lot. When the temperatures reach around 80 outside, the apartment starts getting a lot of flies which were not sure where they're coming from. This was never an issue until about 2 years ago when we had VERY dirty neighbors living below us. We also have wasp nests outside of our apartment that come back every year. Rent has raise about $350-$400 since moving in 6 years ago despite our apartment having no improvements installed since moving in. We have had 2 instances of our AC breaking and having to wait anywhere from 3 weeks to at most 3 months (on and off) to have it fixed.

It's a quiet neighborhood and I like that plus everyone seems friendly ilike the amenities the kids love the pool and the dog loves the dog park.

Love it so far it’s something new for me I’m young and it’s my first apartment so I don’t know what to compare it to but it’s something I’m enjoying for sure

Always a great experience at Retreat at Hidden Bay. We truly enjoy living here. Great Maintenance Staff and Office Staff are the best. Plan on living here for awhile.

The staff is super nice and friendly however I feel like the up keep on the apartments could be better. For example we pay a pest control fee very month with our rent but I've let to see anyone come and spray the property for its major bug problem. The apartment has a big bug problem and I've asked the office to send them out to spray however no one ever shows up. I have been paying out of pocket to try and control the problem. Rent is also increasing but the apartment haven't been up dated in a good couple decades, there is a clear mold/mildew issues. Definitely needs a good renovation especially if they are going to raise the prices. Plus the pool is never open. It's a nice quit and peaceful neighborhood however there are alot of things the apartment company could do MUCH better. My first suggestion would be to us the maintenance fee and pest control fee we pay every month to hire professionals to handle pest control and mold issues.

Beautiful and quiet little patch of heaven out here! Move in process was so smooth! Plus management is so helpful and on top of there their stuff! So excited to be living here!

Very friendly community and very clean! Have had no noise issues and all appliances are working well. The apartment was very clean and has minor issues when moved in nothing too serious. But overall a great experience so far.

Large living room closet, small hallway closet, large walk-in bedroom closet). Really nice to have small washer and dryer in unit. Small porch is nice. Neighborhood complex fairly quiet except for a few random people who enjoy annoying their neighbors with their loud cars (only two though). Complex is neat and clean except for selfish and lazy people who dump their garbage by the dumpster instead of putting it in the dumpster (not the apartment people’s fault). Maintenance guy was very quick and helpful with initial issues. Pets allowed, no issues with barking or stuff like that so far. Overall worth it for the price so far, not sure in the future -if the rent gets raised after the first year- because of the minor annoyances.

Great place to live. Staff is wonderful and maintenance is great. Lawn service keeps things nice and clean. Would recommend to anyone that needs a great location apartment.

Not the best parking lot to park in, not enough space I’ve had to park down the road from my apartment a couple times. I wish the bedrooms were bigger too

Apartment was spotless when we moved in, brand new outlet covers and a clean carpet. After renting at other complexes in the area, we are more than satisfied and love our unit.
