The Residences at First Street

Great place to live. The maintenance staff does an excellent job of keeping the grounds clean and their response time for in unit repairs couldn’t be faster. They are always polite and professional.

I toured here a while back, and loved it! All the amenities were clean, and the customer service at the front office was top notch. Unfortunately, I ended up moving into a home instead, but would definitely recommend the Residences to anyone else who is looking for an apartment.

My husband and I were newlyweds and this was our first apartment together. Our luxury apartments was beautiful and brand new. Mostly, I want to talk about the staff. The apartment manager Erin was absolutely marvelous. She and her staff took care of us throughout our 11-month lease. They treated us nothing more than spectacular the entire time we were there. Always on top of their game. And they treated other residents the exact same way. I wish I could give them more than a 5-star rating. We love you residences on 1st Street. Me miss you all. Thank you for one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had living in an apartment.

Rent is my biggest expense as I'm sure it's the same for most everybody, so I do my research. Not only have I found the best value for my money, I've found the best experience you could possibly have in the market. I've lived in many different apartments, one of which, the landlord was even a close friend, and none can even compare to the level of service you get from the team at The residences. I work and talk with a lot of people at work, and the constant complaint I hear about in people's lives is how much they hate their landlord. I can no longer relate. And it isn't just talk and friendly service either, they take ACTION. I voiced an issue I was having with the internet, something out of their power and not even their fault. Erin and her team took it on themselves to fix the problem, go above and beyond and help me with a problem they had hardly anything to do with. I know what good customer service is but this team is more. Not just talk, but action as well. That's just the service! I could talk for pages more about them and pages about how every penny is worth its value 10 fold! A pool, hot tub, a decked out gym, and basically brand new apartments!? It's truly a no-brainer. Erin and her team cannot be appreciated enough. 10 stars.

They will do anything to get you to sign, but they treat you poorly once you are in. Especially if you have children. We have three children and we were told when we signed that we could keep no boxes, bikes, or storage on our patio, but that kids toys were fine. Come to find out the fine print says you can't keep toys on your balcony. They are now "changing staff and cleaning things up" but that doesn't change the fact that I have three young children who are not allowed to play with toys on their balcony patio. You can, however, keep grills and furniture and pets and plants on your balcony, just not outdoor children's toys. Because they are unsightly. Unlike grills and furniture and pets and plants, apparently. Watch management try to weasel their way out of this review. No matter what they say in reply to this, they have been awful to me personally on multiple occasions regarding this issue, and I do not recommend them whatsoever. I honestly tried to work with them and let them be good people, but they value money and appearances over their tenants. They won't let children play with outdoor toys on their own balcony, but they have no problem with grills and furniture.

Lived here for 8 months now and have 0 complaints, seriously (I'm not just some random person with no true experience with the apartments who just wanted to vent negativity on the internet). Price is a bit high but you absolutely get what you pay for with the amenities and management/maintenance taking care of any issue that comes up immediately. Very high quality and best noise insulation I've ever had in an apartment. Great upscale community feeling.

I'd seen pictures of their apartments online and thought they looked nice so I wanted to check them out in person. I stopped by 3 different times at different times of day and each time there was nobody around to help me. Not only that but the last time I stopped by, the door to the leasing office was locked even though there was an employee in there. She was dealing with someone else but that is not a reason to lock every other potential renter outside. She could have just let people know as they were coming in that she was busy with a customer and they could have a seat in the lounge area. These events were very frustrating, and I will not be renting from them.
