I have had a great experience living here. No problems at all. The staff is great Ms. wilkes and ms. Tracey is great workers. They are concerned about the tenant. The apartments are well kept. Lightning all around. Very nice place to live.

Ive been a resident at city center for 2 years, its a pleasure living here, the office staff is very outgoing and friendly. The maintenance is excellent!
DO NOT RENT HERE. I have been an on-time paying resident here for the past 4 years. I had a move out date of July 31st and the office closes at 6 p.m. I was charged $32 dollars for returning the keys at 12 noon the following day. That was the final straw. Here are the drawbacks of The Residence at City Center (Former name: Courtyard At Maple). Google their former name, look at the reviews and you will understand my dissatisfaction. Background information. Currently, I am a Research Scientist soon to be an Assistant professor. When I moved here I was an International Graduate Research Assistant. I say all that because I want you to understand that I didn't have unrealistic expectations. Roaches. I don't mean one or two. There was a persistent infestation of roaches.This is not the first review talking about this problem. They will tell you there is routine pest control. Do not be fooled. Their pest control services will not get rid of the roach problem. It required three types of roach control agents to target the different stages of the roach reproductive cycle. That expense came out of my pocket. Broken Gates and Break-Ins. The gates are constantly broken and many of my neighbors CARS got broken into. Two of my friends APARTMENTS (different apartments in this complex) got broken into. My female friend's apartment was broken into while she was in the apartment and she has been paranoid ever since. I personally never had a car here; however, when I would go to the front office I would frequently hear people tell management about their cars being broken into. Management told them they had nothing to do with it and could not help them. Please remember the gates were constantly open and constantly broken Attacked and Hospitalized. My roommate had been attacked from a homeless person in this area. She was beaten, her eyes were swollen and she was immediately hospitalized. I won't go into the details of the experience, but this is not a safe area. An apartment complex that leaves the gate open isn't safe. Along with that, many unknown people will dial your gate code, trying to get in when the gate IS closed. Poor Infrastructure. Because of the buildings construction (Thin walls) you hear every noise, splash made in the pool, every argument people have outside (which is alot), every footstep from upstairs. There is a new stadium that was built. This might seem like a wonderful thing; however, the bright lights will make it seem like the sun never sets.
The apartments grounds are pretty well kept and well lit at night. They create a welcoming ambiance. They do have security personnel in the complex which is good. The insides are very beautiful but the rooms do not come with lights. You have to bring you own lamp. They're very clean when you first move in. Its entirely up to you to keep that going. I moved here from a roach infested apt which makes me appreciate this apartments even more. Management is very prompt with responding to repairs and work orders. Expect inspection quite frequentily. Management is very strict about the rental agreement and won't bend on anything...No outside grilling and not pet friendly at all. No lounging outside or hanging outside. If you like to grill outside and have your beers with buddies on saturday night, this ain't the place for you. Overall iam satisfied.
