Property Ratings at The Reserve at Mayfaire
The location is good, and the apartments are nice, but the appliances are worn down and don't work well. There's also a roach problem (not just the big ones but lots of little ones). Might be coming from a neighbor or some other place, but I'm guessing the entire building is infested... It was still fine overall (besides the pests), but the one star comes from rude management.
I have been at The Reserve at Mayfaire now for 13 months. As the pandemic restrictions are slowly being removed, this community is like a flower blossoming in Springtime All the amenities that originally sold me on this community are now available to experience and take advantage of But the secret about this community is the staff Whoever hired them did an outstanding job. Everyone is polite, professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
Living at The Reserve at Mayfaire is wonderful. From the lovely landscaping to the exceptional and always friendly staff, every need is met!

Have been here for almost 9 years and have enjoyed my life here. Good staff and maintenance interaction. Excellent location.
I've lived here since November of 2009, that's almost 12 years!! I love this place.... location is perfect, staff is extremely courteous and best of all my grandkids are practically just around the corner!

The Reserve is a Resort-Like living community with friendly and efficient staff. The location is perfect for shopping, dining, outdoor activities and the beach.
Wonderful place to live! The staff is so professional and friendly. The grounds and buildings are beautiful and safe. Also, the Reserve is at an unparalleled location. The supermarket is only a few blocks away along with a multitude of stores in Mayfaire. Wrightsville Beach is only about 2 miles! I highly recommend the Reserve!
We discovered a real gem! The staff could not be more welcoming and friendly. Our every request has been taken seriously and acted on quickly. The clubhouse is gorgeous and offers many perks, including receiving our packages and offering grab & go meals on occasion. There is an outgoing mail slot and even a car wash!

The Reserve at Mayfaire is a great place to live. The upkeep, care, and communication are all phenomenal and the staff is always ready to address any need. The grounds are beautiful all year long and we are so glad we chose Reserve at Mayfaire to live.
Safest and cleanest community in Wilmington, NC. Very respectful and helpful staff. Every time I drive in the first thing I notice are the exotic looking plants and all the colors of the flowers, makes me feel like Im on a tropical island.

I live in building 1416, located close to everything. The office & swimming pool is across the street. The car wash is directly across the parking lot. Dory, Christine, Matt, JB, Don and Demetrius (?) are all friendly. Each has a calm and peaceful demeanor and are all easy to work with. I have only lived at The Reserve at Mayfair 4 months and cant imagine leaving.

My husband and I recently relocated to Wilmington. We moved to The Reserve at Mayfaire while we search for our new home. I was not excited about the temporary move, but feel completely at home here after less than a week. We had a few small glitches with the unit, but the staff were pleasant and sent someone to repair the issues immediately. We have two small dogs that we walk on the well lit pathways around the complex. We are enjoying our stay here and would highly recommend The Reserve at Mayfaire!!

I was thinking of moving in a larger 3 beds apartment but I could not find it. I like this area; it is a secure place, with a lot of green and flowers, and a beautiful big swimming pool. I will never think again to move.

It looks nothing like the pictures you see here which is to be expected but was especially true here. My biggest complaint is the staff of the main building who has consistently been rude and unprofessional. You could do worse but I personally wish I would have gone with somewhere else.
Landscaping is wonderful and the location is a peaceful place to live. I cannot hear my neighbors at all and I have endless places to walk my dog.

Community staff are attentive and polite. The maintenance crew is knowledgeable and keep engaged.
Great place to live
While I've never lived in an apartment before, I believe this is an above average complex. For health reasons you may want to invest in Filtrete or Honeywell Air filters for tenants. 18x18 air filters are not carried in Lowes or Home Depot stores in the area. I am allergic to dust and dust mites. I've been sick all week due to the low quality of air filters that come with the apartment.
I’ve lived at the Reserves since 2015. They’ve gone through three different phases of office staff. The old staff was lovely. The new staff since the beginning of 2019 is terrible. They are unresponsive to resident’s requests, they are extremely rude, not to mention the place has overall gone downhill. Numerous car break-ins, nosey neighbors that the staff does nothing about, and harassment from residents goes unnoticed and unpunished. The turnover rate of residents living on property has tripled in the last year! Most I’ve talked to have moved to other, more luxuries apartment complex’ in the Wilmington area. If you choose to live here, make sure you lock your vehicles and keep your blinds closed!

To live at The Reserve at Mayfaire is a very nice comfortable and quiet place. It has clean road, beautiful huge swimming pool surrounded with flowers and palm tree, and a big variety of fresh spices.

I like to live here, because is has a very good surrounding and a very good services. To have a small fresh spices garden is so fantastic, I don't think other community has this privilege.
Excellent place to live
My 3-1/2 years here at Mayfaire have been very enjoyable. The location is prime for walking to grocery, restaurants, and exercise. All the amenities are located at the apartment complex and are always clean. Landscaping truly gives you a tropical vacation feel. I am so happy I chose The Reserve as my home to downsize and enjoy my semi-retirement.
Enjoy the complex and the location is great. Minutes away from shopping, restaurants, Wrightsville Beach and the Municipal Golf Course.
