Great management

I lived here for about a year. It was my first time moving into an apartment complex and people in the office were quick to reply and update me. From signing to check-out, I had my questions answered really quickly and management was always super friendly. Maintenance came quite quickly too. Any sort of plumbing or maintenance issue would be resolved within a week or management would reach out to keep me informed about when I might expect something done. Notices about community-wide maintenance were either posted in an email or on a notice on my door. Also, maintenance would leave notes updating me about what had been done. The property is well-maintained and fairly quiet (with people outside the community adding a bit of noise, but nothing concerning). At check-out, I had a lot of help asking questions about what was required of me and final charges. Shout out to Jonathan for the consistent updates and life check-ins throughout my time with the Reserve. I would have stayed had not personal stuff interfered! Thanks everyone at the Reserve :)

Professionalism

One reason why I enjoy living at Reserve @ Capital Center for the simple fact of the professionalism they provide all across the board. When it comes to maintenance I can always count on my needs being met the same exact day. As a tenant it’s nice to know that the staff within the apartment complex looks out for our needs and goes the extra step to make sure everyone in the community is taken care of. Nate always maintains a selfless attitude and making sure the apartment complex is clean and up to date.

Beautiful property

My fiancé and I moved in a few months ago and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect community for our first place together. The staff Alexus and Jonathan are very sweet and helpful and the maintenance team is always so quick and efficient!

Overall great experience

These apartments truly go above and beyond to be pet-friendly, which was a big plus for me. I just moved in and all I have to say is the staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. Special shoutout to John for providing an outstanding apartment tour experience for me and my partner — he really was informative. If you ever meet Nate and Tony they are extremely friendly and I would like to thank them for their quick and efficient maintenance service. If you're looking for a welcoming, well-maintained, and clean community, I highly recommend these apartments!

I like it..

Its been more than a year and half that we are staying in Reserve Apartments. First thing, I like the location and the nieghborhood. Second, I like the maintenance staff as they are prompt with their service and the requests get attended within 24 hrs. The management is doing a great job in keeping the Apartments clean and safe with all the appropriate measures.

Comfort Living!!

We moved here from another apartment complex on this street and it’s night and day! We’ve loved living here from day one. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance team — Nate, Tony and Saidu are always so quick to respond and take care of work orders. With a smile too! The cleanliness of the property is refreshing. Unfair Cleaning Charges

I recently moved out of The Reserve at Capitol Center, and I’m extremely disappointed with how they handled the move-out process. Despite spending two full days cleaning my apartment—ensuring it was left in excellent condition—the management hit me with an outrageous $300+ cleaning fee. I had no pets, no kids, and took great care of the space during my time there, so this charge is completely unfair. I found out that I’m not the only one who has experienced this. Numerous other reviews mention similar surprise fees, which suggests a pattern of unfair practices by the management. It feels like they’re taking advantage of residents on their way out, which is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly advise against renting there. There are plenty of other places that treat their residents with more respect and transparency.

Lived here for 10 years

I've lived here for almost 10 years at this point. I can honestly say that it's been a very positive experience overall. The apartment unit itself experience may vary. I can only speak for my apartment, but my unit tends to get sun all day which makes it pretty warm at times, especially during the summer. They did install dual-pane windows a few years ago which have absolutely helped regulate the temps and my SMUD bill thanks them. They also offer patio sunshades which blocks the sun really well, and also adds some privacy. Extra quality of life considerations like these make a difference in my opinion. The staff has come and gone over the years but they have all been kind and professional at times I've interacted with them. They usually have themed social events and raffles in the office every couple months where you can grab food or treats and mingle with your neighbors if that's your kinda thing. They are also very dog friendly! There is a small dog run in the back of the property. There are also a few spots on the property where they have dog poop bag dispensers for free, which is a great touch. They really try to take care of the property and it shows. It's definitely the nicest looking place on the block. While i don't plan to live here for another decade, i wouldn't be upset if it turned out that way. It might be a little more expensive than other places on the block, but honestly who would you rather live next to?

This is my second time living at these apartments. I lived here in 2016/17 moved away for a year and when I moved back to Sacramento in 2018 I knew I wanted to move back into these apartments. Best apartments I’ve ever lived at. Never had an issue here. Office staff and maintanence always awesome, and go above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of. The apartments are renovated with full washer/dryer in unit and dish washer. The kitchen is amazing too. Perfect if you are in the kitchen a lot; super spacious. The apartment community is quit, always feel safe and friendly. Great amenities... pool area is so nice and spa. There is a gym, car wash station, storage units on site to rent and car garage. Everyone that has came to these apartments to visit me are so impressed with the complex. I would highly recommend these apartments!
