The people at Quarters are so kind and helpful. They go extra and plan great monthly activities so that people can socialize. This is very consistent and always fun. When your package is delivered you can get a text, and friendly reminders for other important stuff too. Their website is good and easy to use. when I had some personal problems moving it. The staff was very good and brainstorming and problem-solving to fit my specific needs. This is truly the best apartment in Ames, undoubtedly. Random: Also the only place you'll casually meet athletes; so cool!! Lots of parking space too! I know places where parking was an issue!

I have lived here for three years and loved every second of it. I’d lived in 4 different apartments before hand and the staff was always difficult to deal with, mail got stolen, maintenance requests were ignored or so many other things that could have been solved with communication. Quarters staff are always easy to talk to and ready to help with a concern of mail/ maintenance or keys issue. I will definitely be sad the day I have to move out!!

Even though the quarters are off campus from Iowa State, they make up for it with all the amenities that they provide, such as the pool, golf simulator, and gym, to just name a few! Never a boring day at the Quarters as there is always something to do!

The quarters is definitely one of the best places to live in Ames. Great rooms with tons of space, an awesome atmosphere, and the pool and hot tub are an added bonus. So happy here!!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and share about your experience with us - we are sorry to hear it was less than stellar! All billing is clearly communicated in your lease and accompanying resident handbook! For issues with Internet and Noise Concerns, we have an after-hours line to call so that a staff member can assist with these issues ASAP! Further options to reduce pet waste are always being explored as well! The location is farther from campus than a number of other housing options, but there's a bus stop close by and we are within walking distance of the tailgating lots for football games! Each months there's a number of great events at the clubhouse and the amenities are great!
This is by far the EASIEST apartment to work with management wise. They are always kind and helpful. The apartments are really nice for the low cost and they provide plenty of amenities.
The Quarters may be farther off campus than preferred but that is made up with all the amazing amenities and the friendly staff. Nick and the team are kind and an always go above and beyond to meet your requests. The gym is well cleaned and the crew is constantly working to keep everything updated and running. Guest parking was recently added and more trash dumpsters so your walk isn’t too far. Definitely recommend living here!
The quarters is great for student living, the amenities are awesome, and the management is definitely the best. Recommend giving it a look!

Truly great apartment complex that has the best amenities in town and makes you feel like you are living in a home, not just an apartment or dorm. They recently got some new management and are constantly improving the property and are very friendly and easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to live in Ames!
Being in a student living, it would be assumed the neighbors wouldn't be all that awesome. However, I didn't expect to be listening to hold music for 10 minutes while calling in a noise complaint. After calling several weekends in a row with minimal attempt to fix the problem, and this time not even an answer, I've had it with the aloof staff and their pitiful attempts
Here is why nobody should ever move into the Quarters We do not have a Starbucks, we do not have on-site maintenance, we do not have a manager. We do not have on-site atms. The Quarters has a huge bug problem especially when it’s warmer when it’s cold. The walls are paper thin so we could hear everything that I neighbors are doing. From when they get up in the morning till they go to sleep at night if we’re home. They said that this would be a smoke free facility and we smell people smoking in the apartment all the time. They charge us for everything like a ridiculous amount. You cannot lean on the bathroom sinks because they are not secured into the wall and able to touch every time that you do it. They never enforce any parking rules Or have anyone here to monitor that only people with the Quarters pass can park here. They gave us a monthly budget out this is how much everything will be this is how much are utilities would be for paying over $100 every month because they lied. The only place that has cameras is the office but not the rest of the apartments. If you call maintenance it takes them days before they can accommodate to what you need done if they feel like it. This place is ridiculously expensive for such crappy service and crappy apartments. The paint chips extremely easy and the tile in the floor comes up extremely easy even with the rug there to catch the water when you’re getting out of the shower it will still come off. The Quarters is the worst places I’ve ever lived and I would never recommend anyone move here.

Hello! Thank you for your honesty concerning The Quarters, and I apologize that you have had such a negative experience living here. We hope that we can make the rest of your experience more enjoyable to the point where it feels like a perfect home for you. I would like to just clarify a few things for you and maybe we can make some adjustments just for you. We do not advertise that we have an ATM on site, so I am unsure where you got that information from. We do, in-fact, serve Starbucks coffee in our self serve coffee machine, but we do not advertise having an actual Starbucks on site. We have two full time office managers staffed, as well as a maintenance supervisor. In regards to your maintenance issues/bug problems, we have monthly pest control that comes out and sprays the buildings in ATTEMPT to keep those little pests out. Unfortunately, the reality of it is, its never going to be perfect. In regards to our onsite maintenance issue that you are having, we have a full time maintenance supervisor and prioritizes the work orders accurately, and our policy is to have regular work orders completed within 7 days, and we strive for a 2 day completion time. We will try to communicate if there are delays in any fashion, but please do not hesitate to bring any concerns to our office management. We appreciate your patience and you may let us know what your maintenance request is referring to so that we can fix it to the best of our ability. In regards to your utility bill, I am unsure who promised you a strict monthly budget, but it is entirely based on usage. We do not intentionally or manually charge, but the meters calculate the usage and charge based on that. With the extra cold months, the furnaces are working double time, so we can all expect to be paying more during these times. We apologize for this, but unfortunately this is how it is. We also have a third party utility bill vendor that you may contact for any more information regarding your utility bill. Thank you again for your concerns, and we hope we can use this constructive criticism to make your stay at the Quarters a more enjoyable experience.
