The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Preserve At Temple Terrace
My first mistake was not looking at this property during the day and/or on a weekend. I'm a current resident, but I'm counting down the days till my lease ends. Valet trash is inconsistent as your trash will sit on your front doorstep for days. The trash guy seems to come whenever he feels like it. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, the trash compactor located in the front entrance is always overflowing with trash. It's embarrassing to see, gross, and unhealthy, given all the rats and raccoons that feast there on weekends.
This is a wonderful community to live in. Do not be deterred by previous reviews. The units are very clean, spacious, and well maintained. We have never had any bug problems or major issues. The office staff is WONDERFUL and they have gone above and beyond to make living here very pleasant. Raysa is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. When we have needed repairs the maintenance crew has always been very prompt and exceed expectations. They genuinely care about making connections with their residents and are very quick to resolve any issues that you may have. Both the office staff and maintenance always stop to check on us and make sure that everything is as it should be. The garages are attached to the units which is very convenient. The closets are all very large and the bathrooms are nice as well. We started with a three bedroom unit and realized it was more space than we needed so we are transferring to a smaller two bedroom but it is still quite large! The amenities are great too! Two beautiful pools, a very nice gym, and a laundry room incase you do not have your own appliances. The community is very dog friendly. The staff here always goes above and beyond and we could not be happier to live here. The only suggestion I have as a resident is to be sure to put your trash in the bins during the day, not at night, as there are some hungry racoons around here but that is expected being surrounded by nature preserves. This took us a while to figure out LOL. Even when the creatures do get to our trash we try to clean it up the best we can and the crews come by and lend a hand. At the end of the day....we LOVE this place and hope you will too!
Stay away from this place. While the staff is very personable and responsive to small issues, they really do not take issues with the apartment very seriously. Especially in terms of pest control (cockroaches bedbugs). 1. Cockroaches: There is a very serious pest control issue at this place. It is right next a preserves and the cockroaches are everywhere. You can schedule weekly pest control to come fix it, but it will take about 2 months and then they will come back after you stop your weekly treatments. 2. Bedbugs: we got bedbugs in our apartment ( I did not realize that was a thing anymore). After 3 weeks of treating the apartment. Pest control and the staff gave us the clear (no more bedbugs!) to take all of our stuff out of bags and put our stuff away. I FOUND A BEDBUG 2 weeks later. I informed the staff and their response was that "they could not properly do their job the first day because not everything was put away appropriately. We can schedule another treatment if you want." Thanks for telling us that you didn't do the job right the first time, not scheduling an ADDITIONAL treatment, and then not recognizing how serious this is.
It was great 3 years ago when I moved in ,,Rules were implemented strictly and bad behaviors dealt with swiftly . Today anyone with a job or good money can move in fast regardless of their past or behavior ! Many Dogs owners refuse to use the designated areas and do not care where their pets defecate! it is a nightmare for you if you have kids .. New bad and Trashy comers who have trashy habits or background or places started everyday throwing and laying trash like liquor and beer bottles as well as fast food containers and bags everywhere especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We never used to see the police coming except super rarely for a mishap ,now it is a common occurrence by huge numbers sometimes for domestic violence and retaliatory actions from tenants against others ,, They used to fix stuff so fast like pot holes and others ..now it takes a while and you must wait a while ..always something to fix,,, Car Speed control is a joke ...I almost got ran over and saw a lot of kids do too by people who think they are driving on I-275 Last but not least the office have unleashed the tow company to harass any car parked peacefully even if you have a flat tire
was there for few months , here the summary - 1.OLD 1980's aprt., smell like old mension 2. lot of noise from top floor because of old flooring . 3. very less or once a month cleaning .. 4. people drive car , inside housing society at high speed 5. lots of bug , insect 6. near to Verizon office is plus for few . 7. unusual high charges when you leave the aprt . 8. no play area for toddlers . 9. no use of society both gate , they keep it remain open in noon timing for all :) 10 . office staff is good . 11. very old carpet
My apartment complex (in Temple Terrace) is great 85% of the time - even though that 15% of chaos is pretty annoying. It is what you should expect living in an apartment. The location is perfect for me as it is very near to my Office and also can Pick up / Drop my Daughter in between the Office hours. Also it very close to USF University, FL, which has given me an option to extend my Education.
