Palm Haven at Deer Creek

I've lived in this complex for almost eight years. Two years ago, a new owner took over, and since then, there have been four different management companies and more than a handful of managers and assistant managers. There has been no consistent maintenance team in the last two years, meaning that apartment issues often go unresolved for days or even weeks. While the newer apartments may look nice, the level of service does not match the price you're paying. One of the most serious issues is the lack of proper lighting outside at night, which is extremely dangerous. I have been asking for over two years for someone to fix the lights, and nothing has been done. The sidewalks are cracked and uneven, and despite repeated promises to repair them—promises made since I moved in—no work has been done. This makes walking around the complex at night very risky. You're forced to choose between walking on dark, broken sidewalks or risking your safety on the road,

Has partnered with company out of TX to do water, sewer, etc. Rate DOUBLED! New Amenity Fee but do not know what or why. Gates still broken and trash and parking is mess

The WORST management ever. Gate is always open, never closed, pool doors fully open at the first pool (doors barely hanging), fence is broken so people from near by places come to the community to use pool and gym. Now because everything is open homeless people come there and use pool and hang out there. There is a huge parking problem. There is trash problem, I’ve seen several mouses lately . Oh if you will have maintenance request, forget about it, they will either never come or will come take a look and say they will fix but it will never happen. This community got new management and guess what? It’s awful. We’ve got mold and been telling them for the past few months about it and nothing is done. There is bees on the balcony, it flies to the townhouse, they never fixed this issue. Got roaches, we had to wait more than a month for pest control to show up. Person from pest control told us we will be having roaches because the bottom of the cabinets is rotten, have some water and it’s perfect living conditions for roaches. There was a leak never fixed.. AC was leaking they came twice and it’s still leaking. This community will put some paint on the walls so you do not see mold just give it a little time it will show up and they will do nothing about it. Believe me there is good communities, but Preserve definitely not the one. STAY AWAY!!!

I regret to say that my experience with this apartment complex has been disappointing due to their consistent failure to address and fix repairs promptly. This lack of responsiveness has made my living situation less than satisfactory. They claim luxury, that is a lie. They claim to be a gated community, I have never seen that gate close. Stay away Presevre at Deercreek is not what it is portrayed as.

I’m still happy I have townhouse with nice view with a nice view of the lake the community is very clean and the maintenance team is excellent

Moved in to a gated community and rent has increased substantially and gate has been broken for at least two years! Should not have to pay for amenities which are not offered

My daughter had a situation with another tenant and the office staff took care of everything quickly and efficiently! It is good to live where you feel safe!

Quiet, very serene, I love the pool, as well as the wildlife during my morning jogs, again everything is so comfortable and convenient. The best apartments

Great view and great space in the apartment . The balcony is a cool little place to hang and the pond is a great scene. The personal car wash in the neighborhood is really good and it comes in very handy.

Just moved in. A few things definitely need to be fixed upon moving in, but overall good. Community is nice. Can't wait to start using the pool and gym.

I love my apartment and the quiet space. The gym is usually clean and the pool is nice most of the time as well. My one thing is the price of the rent, it’s really high when including other costs of living. But other than that it’s great!

Generally a good place to live. The neighbors are OK, the community is pretty safe, the maintenance is top-of-the-line. Those guys do a great job. The front office staff is usually good but they’ve had some problems. For what you were getting it’s a little over priced so I’d recommend doing some research but the wise good.

Great neighborhood, quiet and very close to shopping areas. Maintenance is efficient and timely and very helpful. It is also very quiet. Love the lake

So far so good. Parking is a little tough. The people in the office have been nice although not easy to get a hold of on the phone. Everyone seems to helpful however.

I don't have to worry about nothing like landlord or any others I call the office and the y come in second I highly recommend to any one that are looking for apartments The Preserve at Deer Creek is the best place to leave in

We love the little events that you provide. We haven’t been able to make many but it’s nice to know we can if our schedule allows. The food trucks are a plus because not everyone can cook a homemade meal and fast food gets old quickly!

The community is pretty quiet and calm in general. Some people leave trash outside in the parking lot, but the management try to maintain everything pretty neat. It feels secure, but would't mind if the gates were working.

This place has been very good for a first apartment. They are clean and quiet. I have enjoyed being here these last 2 years. I definitely recommend them. They are very spacious. The amenities are good. Love having the pools and gym on premises. The office tries to have many community events.

Very clean, peaceful community. I love how convenient the area is, shopping centers are right around the corner. You can jog in or outside of the community. It’s lovely

I love preserve at deer creek because it is very quiet, clean, they have excellent staff in the office, maintenance and cleaning, a very good location, everything is very close

Still no gate and we live in a gated community. We just got our renewal and we have to make a decision within two weeks or else it’ll go up. Two weeks isn’t sufficient for anyone to decide if they’re moving. This place is a trap. Don’t move here.

Great amenities and the location is perfect. The maintenance staff comes really quick and the pools are great when the weather is nice. The landscapes are well kept as well

It is a friendly place to live! There is always something happening. We love the food trucks and the option of not cooking but staying on premises! The office is friendly and helpful! They are always quick with a smile .

Very homely experience so far. Just moved in not too long ago and am excited to be here! The staff in the leasing office were all extremely helpful and informative. This fact making all into a smooth transition.

This is a great place to live! It's $$, but for the area, it's honestly pretty reasonable. Cool property with a lot of green, Tennis court and soccer pad. Needs a basketball goal (or at least I haven't found it). Small dog park, but it's close, included, and it's big enough to run out a bit of energy. Two pools, with a few grills. Lots of pool chairs, tables, and umbrellas, well maintained. The pond in the middle is pretty with a walking path around it; it also makes for a nice flood reservoir. Location is awesome. Right next door to Target, Hobby Lobby, and PetCo (also Starbucks, TD Bank, and a Mobil in the same parking lot), across the street from a NAPA, Aldi, and on the corner with Publix, and the Deerfield Mall. Quiet Waters park is half a block away, 15 minutes to the beach, 20 in traffic. 30 minutes to Delray, 40 to West Palm. Absolutely love living here!

A bit expensive for what you get but maybe that’s just the times. Pools often have raccoon or dog poop around. The trash issue that builds up massively at the trash area is horrible! And the valet trash is nice but lots of liquid trash and dirt get left in the halls between apartments and it never gets cleaned.

I moved in 2 days ago and have a roach problem, very upsetting. Not the way I wanted to start out at my new development. Plus moved in and apartment had a few problems besides roaches.

The community is great so far. Friendly neighbors, nice amenities and trails for walking. The apartment I moved into was filthy, so I spent 2 days cleaning before I could unpack much.

Really great place in a great area! It is in an awesome location and it is beautiful. The pond, pool, weight room, etc. the apartment I’m in has a beautiful patio.

Very quiet an md save neighborhood. Parking isn’t the best but they do have a lot amenities for all ages. The townhouse is very big and spacious!

Apartment was not ready to be rented AT ALL. Very thin walls so you hear people up and down the stairs. Layouts are nice and a decent size. Appliances are out dated

Pretty good so far, any issues I have I know the management will ensure it's taken care of. I love how well maintained the property is. Even though the interior could use some updating for the state that it's in its pretty well kept.

It’s a nice quiet place to live. I have not had a big issue with parking. Maintenance staff is very good and timely. Overall it is close to shopping and convenient area to live in.

I think the place is great, the only thing is I think parking sometimes is not practical when it comes to parking late. You can’t find parking so I think it would be best to have your own assigned parking and have guests parking in case you have guests

A pleasant place, even worse is the access to the entrance, the gate, which has been open for over a year. Moreover, it is a well located place.

So we’re never going to be a gated community. It’s been years since we were given these little plastic things to get inside the complex. Trees don’t get maintained but dudes in tree booms come yo take coconuts from them. It’s so dirty here. The garbage compactor is always full. People leave their liquor bottles everywhere and it smells like pee. Live where we live. Can’t wait to move.

I think the parking situation is getting better but still needs improvement! The people are friendly for the most part and living in the apartments is very nice and quite quiet ! Love the activities you throw!

Not enough parking. Come home in the evening and there is no where to park! Why? The garbage situation is disgusting when everyone piles their garbage at the dumpster and the garbage company leave’s garbage around the community.

My apartment i like just because i make it mine but everything else about the community sucks. Had raccoons and still have raccoons living in my attic and of course they don’t do anything about it, gate has been opened for aver 1yr, stairs are disgusting, and so much more.

Amazing facility and staff! I adore this complex so much! The second pool seems to be broken a lot but I’m not much of a pool person anyway! The only flaw this complex has would be the pigeons!!!

Living here has been great. Maintenance is on top of it most of the time. My only issue is the apartment seems to be made cheaply as the fixtures fall off and break easily.

Love the amenities and the pool is always quiet, both of them. The area is nice and close to many essentials and the gym is 24/7. Trash is picked up everyday

This community is horrible at cleaning it’s grounds, for a place that just raised my rent by 30%, which by itself is deplorable, they should have the funds to pay a company to clean the community. Lower the rent and clean the community. Please do yourself a favor and don’t move here!
