The Preserve at Carteret Place

The Preserve is very friendly and clean. I love that there is a dog park for dogs. Everyone is very friendly and kind in this community. I definitely feel at home at the Preserve. It has a lovely scenery and very spacious to go out for a walk.

I have lived at the Preserve for over a year now and I absolutely love it. My apartment is beautiful. The grounds are always kept so clean and landscaped. Maintenance is great and quick to respond. The office staff are very friendly, caring and attentive to your needs and any questions you may have. The amenities are a plus too!! It’s a great place to live!

I have been here at The Preserve for 2 years now. I was displaced by hurricane from my home of 9 years.The devastation that I was going through was the hardest point in my life. I was so blessed to be able to move into the #1 hotspot to live on our beautiful Crystal Coast. The office staff and our maintenance crew is absolutely amazing. The condos are so beautiful and modern. With the amenities that we have. You never have to leave home to have an awesome summer. Our community here is like family, we look out for each other. I am so thankful to call Preserves home. I have truly been blessed ??

My husband and I were among the first few residents to move into the complex, while the majority of the buildings were still under construction. We are coming up on signing our third lease and could not be happier with our experience at the Preserve. We were a little hesitant to go into an apartment to be honest, but we feel this absolutely was the right choice for our current life chapter. The apartments are clean, spacious, very modern, and beautiful. All of our friends and family compliment the space whenever they come over. We also love using the pool, fire place area, and gym. But overall, the best part about living here has been the staff. The maintenance staff is very timely and makes minor things needed here and there a literal breeze. Treasure, the manager, was the assistant when we first moved in and quickly moved up to the property management position because she is AMAZING! From literally day 1 moving in, she has anticipated every single tiny need we may have, or jumped to help with whatever we may need. She is attentive, kind, understanding, warm, and we genuinely feel she has made our experience here wonderful. When we do move and buy a house one day we will miss her and all of her help! We cannot say enough great things about this complex, you will NOT be disappointed!!

My experience at the Preserve has been an excellent one. I have never had an issue while I’ve lived here. The smart home features are wonderful! It’s been great being able to lock or unlock my doors and change my thermostat setting anywhere at anytime. The app keeps me updated on events/normal upcoming maintenance. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. Every time I visit the office I’m greeted with enthusiasm. My apartment itself is nice and has plenty of space. I haven’t had any issues with the craftsmanship or any of the appliances. I have a first floor and don’t hear much from my upstairs neighbors and what I do hear is nothing crazy. Overall, it was definitely worth moving in.

I have lived in apartment complexes from Panama City Beach, FL to Raleigh, NC and finally here at the Preserve. I can confidently say this is the best complex I have resided in. I have always felt completely safe and secure here. All of my neighbors are friendly and respectful! The office staff are always completely friendly and ready to help when needed! I rarely need anything but when I do my requests are handled immediately and professionally. I will definitely be renewing my lease when it’s time!

They actually reward renters for good reviews. The buildings are all molding. Dog park has glass and holes. Cheap appliances and floors and walls very thin. The dog grooming room is always dirty and filled with dog hair they don’t have a pool service,, just the handy man so chairs are dirty and pool is always just kind of clean. Property just wants your money and doesn’t care about people, all about turn over- they actually don’t want you to stay! Although when your stuff starts to mold in your apartment you won’t want to stay.

I can confidently say that this is hands down the best apartment community we have ever lived at! The building and apartments themselves are brand new and beautiful, but what we fell in love with is the community here at The Preserve. The other residents are all so friendly, neighborly and respectful. Plus, the staff is always smiling and helpful and always go out of their way to assit you.

I will be relocating to Morehead City soon. Today I toured Carteret Preserve. The property is top notch and the floor plans are spacious. The staff was welcoming and I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in the clubhouse. Hope and Treasure are knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I think I've found my home!

I moved to Morehead City earlier this summer and after an extensive search for apartments in the area, I was lucky to have stumbled upon The Preserve. Close to just about everything. I have two bedrooms and two full baths. My apartment is very spacious and has a great layout and modern design. The management staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, and they offer amazing ammentities. Some of my favorites are the smart app that allows me to unlock my front door from my phone, and the fitness center! They are pet friendly and even have a special area for dogs to run around and exercise. I have been quite happy here, the complex has made me very comfortable and I feel very welcome. There really is no other apartment community in the area like The Preserve.

I've been living at The Preserve since August 2018 when the property officially opened. This is a brand new and immaculate apartment complex that just opened in Morehead City. The 2 bedroom unit I selected was 1185 sq feet which is on the bigger side and is just stunning. The unit is modern, sleek, and the appliances are top of the line. I have a large patio which isn't included in the square footage. The walk in closet is breathtaking, and built with lots of storage/shelving. The bathrooms are outfitted with oversized soaking garden tubs and double sinks in the master. I absolutely LOVE the dog grooming station which has a washing basin and a dryer for your pups! All the amenities are high end and just beautiful. I'm super excited about making this my home for the foreseeable future.

I lived here for a couple of months. The building had some sort of major moisture/mold issue. From day one the apartment had a terrible smell. The cabinets had visible mold in them. When I did move, it was only then that I could smell just how terrible it really was. I had to throw away a huge bulk of my belongings because the smell had penetrated into everything. I also had a garage on site, everything was covered with fuzzy green mold and completely ruined. Everything. I woke up every morning with a terrible headache and my children coughing and sneezing, constantly. The overhead noise was unbearable, it was not normal apartment noise that is to be expected...poor construction...paper thin ceiling. I would not reccomend the place solely based on it being a health hazard.
