With its charming and historic downtown, brick-paved sidewalks, and rolling green hills Jackson is a hidden gem. It is located off I-40, roughly halfway between Memphis and Nashville. It is the county seat of Madison County, and it is home to several colleges and universities, including Jackson State Community College, the University of Memphis at Lambuth, and Union University. It's also the location of the Rock-A-Billy Hall of Fame and the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum.
When Jackson residents want to shop, they have plenty of options: Shoppes at the Columns is an outdoor shopping area filled with well-known stores and restaurants. Old Hickory Mall, an indoor shopping mall, is located off Old Hickory Boulevard and is surrounded by smaller strip malls. At Fairgrounds Park, residents can peruse the items at Friendly Frank's Flea Market. For fresh produce, they head to the West Tennessee Farmer's Market.

I would like to say regarding our community there is no togetherness. New management has made attempts at bringing the the tenants together. I’ve lived here for years. There was no pool for three years when I moved in there was a security gate two years later, no security gate. Was told, it wouldn’t affect their rent. But I thought that was part of the security of the complex and part of the rent. For safety. We’re paying three times for garage removal that usually is overloaded with garbage furniture. There were times where it stayed there three days. Before someone picked it up and cleaned up the area. There are a lot of things regarding maintenance that are awful. In the past and recently. You need to screen your maintenance people better.

There's gun fire at night. There are FREQUENT breaks and vandalism to vehicles because management refuses to fix the gate they advertise as a feature of the complex. There's black mold, and now we have cockroaches/pests.

It is very good, the only thing I don't like is that access to the complex is free... they should close the ENTRANCE gate and put more security at the entrance or privatize the complex more so that NOT everyone who wants to enter enters.

If you have to choose between a Beztak property or a 2 hour commute choose the commute. From top to bottom the company will make you feel inferior and helpless. If you do choose to move in here make sure you find access to a lawyer and build connections with city officials, you will need them.
just an average apartment. Expensive for money. hidden charges, i was never told.
I really like living here. Neighbors are friendly and respectful towards their neighbors. Crime is low. I feel at peace at home. I moved here March 2023 and I am planning on leasing another year. The apartment is spacious and I love the two bathroom as there are three ladies in the apartment. This is the nicest looking place I have ever lived in. There is always room for improvement but I am satisfied with my stay.
Very nice apartment and easy move in process. I've been here for 5 months and living it more everyday! Quiet, peaceful and noone ever bothers me for anything.
Worst living experience ever. Pray you get a good apartment if you do move here. I’ve had several maintenance issues since I’ve been here & all I hear is there’s a work order in. The maintenance will come fix half the problem & promise to finish the next day to never see them. Rent id to much for them not to fix the problems. I won’t be renewing my lease & advise anyone to NOT move here or any sister properties. I’ve stayed in cheaper apartments & maintenance would never let issues go on this long. Aweful….I’m calling corporate because I’m tired of this!!!

Rent is to much for the area. The trash situation is horrible especially on the weekends. The amount of dog poo laying around is ridiculous. There is no working pool and it hasn't worked in the last 2 summers that I've lived here.

Nothing gets done in a timely manner, the leasing office barely picks up the phone and they are rude if you push them to fix issues with the apartments. I haven’t had AC for a month of living here and they are in no rush to help us with anything.

The apartments are beautiful and have everything we need in the apartment shy of a trash shoot lol maintenance may take a hot minute or two seconds to get to your work order but that hasn’t been an issue.

My experience living here has been very unpleasant. I received an apartment with traces of the previous flooding. Half the apartment did not have power, this was fixed almost two months after I moved in. Also, one day the power went off and I spent a whole day without electricity. The same week I moved in, there was a water leak in the master bedroom. I was explained that the second-floor AC got clogged. There is a black stain on the ceiling. The apartment has always had a humidity smell. I might deal with the loud music from a resident's car late at night, but it is so disgusting that I have to walk through a lot of dog poop because the owners do not clean after their dogs, and the sidewalks are full of mud. The last event makes me decide to leave the apartment. The apartment was flooded again, this time there was water running through the bathroom walls and the master bedroom carpet was soaked. The humidity stench is worse and it is impossible to sleep in the master bedroom. I tried to open the windows but they were so hard to open that the maintenance guy had to come and help me. He needed a lot of strength to open them. This takes me to another concern; if there is a fire and I can't reach the front door, I will not be able to leave. This is a safety issue. There are black stains on the bathroom wall and yellow stains on the walls. I do not think this apartment is in the appropriate condition for a person to live in. I have to add that one of the reasons I chose this property was because it has a gate. This gate has been broken since October, consequently, Point Ridge is not complying with the security they offered when we sign the contract. Another "facility" that is not working is the dryer machines.

The newly remodeled apartments at the Pointe at Ridge Cove are specious, have a great layout, and have beautiful hard wood floors. Management, however, is terrible. They bait you in and once you become a tenant you are never able to contact them again.
The overall community is very welcoming and friendly. The leasing agents make an attempt to get to know you and handle any issues that arise.

I’ve been at The Pointe at Ridge Cove for 4 months. Since then the Property has new siding, new grilling area and fire pit coming soon. They are redoing the pool area and it has new furniture. They are renovating their apartment homes and they look amazing for a 20 year old property. If you are looking for a new home come be apart of The Pointe at Ridge Cove where customer service is outstanding.
