South of the Souris River, the Souris Valley stretches south of Downtown Minot and to the east and west of the city, encompassing a large swath of farmland as you head out from the city center. The Souris Valley region is developing rapidly, with new homes and apartments being built in the neighborhood, but you can still find that wide-open space if that’s what you’re looking for.
When you want to shop, dine, or visit the theater, Downtown Minot is a short drive away and provides such great destinations at Taube Museum of Art and the Railroad Museum. South Broadway is filled with restaurants, from popular chains to local favorites like Broadway Bean and Bagel Co. Shopping is plentiful at Dakota Square Mall, which also offers a movie theater and the Splash Down Dakota Water Park.
