Property Ratings at The Plaza
I moved into my unit at the Plaza in 2023 and have been more than disappointed by the lack of community and detached management. Recent developments at the Plaza indicate that the Sares Regis' onsite manager, a short, portly groveler, and a disinterested, flaky, inept regional manager, will be departing the Plaza. This news has been met with relief by many who have found the current Plaza leadership lacking. Challenges Faced The experience under the current management has been described as tough, with a significant level of dissatisfaction among many residents and others. The phrase "it would be hard to set the bar any lower" suggests that the outgoing incompetent management has performed poorly, leading to a desire among the residents for change. Celebration Plans While there is a sense of celebration in the air due to the impending changes, it is noted that any festivities should be postponed until Sares Regis and their management team have completely vacated their positions. There is a cautious optimism among residents that things will improve.
The Plaza is an excellent apartment. The staff are incredible and the grounds are beautiful. I enjoy living here.

Plaza has direct access from 92 freeway. It is close to Safeway, Costco and other stores. It is safe and a sustainable community.

Community by the bay. Great community to live in with all the amenities. Walk able to big stores like Costco, Safeway , CVS etc. Bay trail is close by for biking, running and activity with kid.
Nice apartment, good value for the area, but be prepared for terrible traffic on a daily basis.
I have loved living here for the past 3 years. It has been a safe environment for my kid and me. Any issue that I have had has been resolved immediately by management and the maintenance team here is awesome!! They fix any issue immediately and are pleasant amd easy to work with. Also, online orders are safely held by the management team or through a mailbox. Great experience overall.

With generally responsive staff (both management and maintenance), and amenities including in-unit w/d, ample affordable parking, and spaces to do my favorite activities (swim, yoga, gym), The Plaza is just off the freeway and is in a nice location. I like the suburbs and really enjoy living here.
Noise just echoes all over this place. Outside, the courtyard design really locks in sounds to make it seem like people are yelling in a tunnel when they are actually talking in normal voices. Inside is much worse; every step neighbors above take reverberates and echoes. If they are a heavy walker, you will stay miserable. I think the earthquake fortification that may keep the building standing but sucks for soundproofing.
I have been living at The Plaza Luxury Apartments in Foster City for 2 years now. This place is beautiful and has everything you need. There are a few shops and cafes attached to the building, large lap pool (heated year round), two BBQ areas, pool table in the party room, modern large community office and theatre room, large gym, massage therapy (paid for separately), yoga classes, and a zen garden to top it off. The interiors of the apartments are very sleek/modern - yet cozy at the same time. The demographic is young professionals such as myself, and smaller young families. They have truley made this a great place to live and I definitely recommend checking it out.
