The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Park at Milano
I'm not really sure where the 5 star reviews are coming from, we just moved into this community and our unit is a complete dump. The entire thing is on a slant which makes you feel nauseous, ok whatever, but the unit itself is so dirty and falling apart it's honestly embarrassing, one of the cabinets is on its last legs and there are multiple unpainted areas across the unit with large visible chips, everything that has been painted was lazily slapped on without a care in the world, roach droppings are everywhere and we found several alive ones in our first times in the unit, as well as worms constantly finding there way into our home despite how clean we keep it. Also can't forget the roaches that were literally painted into the walls as well as human hair and potentially hair on an unknown animal, nearly every fixture in the house has at least 1 thing wrong with it, we spend a total of over 18 hours in labor in cleaning and repairs and a total of over $200 between the deep cleaning of the carpet (awful smell and clearly not cleaned in years with roaches baked into the carpet EVERYWHERE) and cleaning supplies, of course this is not counting the value of our labor and our time (since the maintenance team is only 1 person and clearly has no experience or care, their "improvements" actively made the unit worse and less liveable). This place is really disappointing and at this point it's just a matter of making the best of it during our lease. To sum it up, if you want to live in an old building with a company that doesn't care about maintaining it at all and actively makes the unit worse and cause more work for you to make the unit liveable, I'm not even joking when I say the first month at the place was pure hell with the amount of work, money and the psychological effect of getting used to living somewhere unsafe. I have lived in many places in central Florida and this is by far one of if not the worst.
I am a little nervous living here. I heard 8 to 10 gun shots last night. I don't think this neighborhood is safe anymore. I seen young kids look like they are in there 20's cussing and fighting. This neighborhood used to be peaceful, but these young kids are loud sometimes. There are people that live here be parking where they should not parking that is not a parking space and there is no security. The trash piles up every weekend. We need another dumpster. The gate is always broke. This is crazy.
The apartments are really small there are tiny bugs in our guest bathroom , this is the second night in our new apartment and we have fire ants and giant cockroaches there freaking huge ,the washer and dryer unit makes load noises like it going to break any minute had a lizard in our apartment this morning , this apartment is horrible I feel like we got played and I can't wait to move out 2days in !!
They never fix anything and if you call and a leave a message. They will lie and say you didn't. AC has been broke for 3 months mold in my walls. If you complain, they make up fake accusations and post bogus violation notices on your door, but never show up to fix anything. You have to pay them for insurance as apart of your rent and it is a waste of money. Better off staying in a motel. The gates are always open and I have been living there for 6 months. It is not worth the money. I would recommend misty oaks than here. They need a new staff. It seems the staff lives there l for free and won't do anything but make your life miserable.
I just recently moved to this apartment and it is not all that great. The first day we moved in they just walked us through the apartment real quick didn't really get to check everything. It wasn't till later in the day when we started realizing little by little that things were broken. Then we told the office the day of and Maintanance just came and fixed it today. It's been a month since we've been here and it took them that long. Also the gate is always opened which does not feel safe because that's the point of a gate when it stays open for about 20 minutes or so after each car that comes in. Crime around this area is also pretty bad.
Great complex, great staff. Maintenance is fast to respond to any issue. The entire staff knows and acknowledges the tenants anytime I drive past them on their golf carts. They are patrolling the complex as they go about their daily routine. I feel very safe and welcome.
