Front office funnels traffic onto 3009. Locked back gate, which is a safer exit for parents driving school children to school. Claims furniture dumping from residents when moving. Who moves and places their own furniture by the gate? Evicted folks don't put in that kind of effort.
The Apartments themselves are decent, but the management and maintenance are awful. is very difficult to get maintenance staff over and they actually do something productive, half the time they "check something" outside the building and just never return. not to mention having my apartment ready by the starting date was a terrible experience. they had months to make sure the place was ready and available for move in, but they didn't do anything. The carpets weren't aligned and cut evenly; the wall spray they did for the paint is on the floor along basically every wall; so much water leaks, cracks and damages were everywhere, not to mention to this day in my lease I've experienced 6 different occurrences where there was a new leak in the unit. overall, just save your money, time by not going to this place.
The staff was amazing and made my move in effortless Great community and Deanna and her staff are always there to help if needed
Stonecrest has been one of the best communities I have lived at! The office and maintenance staff are so friendly and helpful! The complex is very quiet and has a very safe feeling. I love that you are also pretty close to everything in the area. The grounds are always so clean, and there has been plenty of parking. ?? Kayla Johnson
While there has been quite a few transitions the office staff has been available and understanding. The current staffs communication is delivered in various ways in regards to reminders, upcoming events and encouraging community engagement. The area is quite and the grounds are maintained, any request have had fairly quick resolve.
I am a resident at Stone Crest Apartments in Schertz, TX. I pay for a cover parking space and there has been someone parked in my space for 2 days now. Today, Dec 19, 2017 I went to the office to seek assistance with getting the vehicle moved. I showed a picture of the vehicle with the license plate to a staff member. She said she would try to find out who it belongs to and have it moved. I few hours later I came back and she had not found out who it belongs to so I asked if we can have it towed. She said she would put a warning letter on it first to give them a chance to move it. 4 hours later I still do not see a note. I go back to the office. They do not know who the car belongs to. I ask again for it to be towed. Winter tells me that I need to call Bexar Towing and have the vehicle towed. I call Bexar Towing and they tell me that the property manager must call. I go back to the office and tell them what’s told to me by the towing company. Staff go into manager’s office behind closed doors and come out after their pow-wow and say they are not sure if they have a valid contract and must call corporate. I wait. I am told corporate is sending a contract. Management notifies towing company. I go back to my vehicle and wait. 45 minutes later, towing comes and then immediately leaves. I call towing company and this time they tell me that a different company has the contract for this property. In the meantime, both management staff and maintenance staff have gone home for the day. I call the after hours number and am told that all they can do is take a message and have management call me sometime tomorrow. She would not give me any number to call for an on-call maintenance or manager. This is completely unacceptable. I was very patient all day in working with management. The job did not get done. They never should have left if my problem was not resolved. This is not fair to me who is now paying for a spot that I can not use or to other residents. Our safety could be jeopardized being as the property management has no idea who the car belongs to or if it is even a residents car. If it does not belong to a resident than it should not be on the property, period. It took 3 days for the car to be moved and I am told I will not be compensated in any way for the lost of the use of my parking space. I would not recommend renting here.
This was a nice neighborhood when I first moved in 3 years ago but its fell off since then. The internet in the business room has been down for months, which is such an inconvenience because I can't print things off when I need to. This has been an ongoing problem since March 2017. What's the point of having a business room with computers that have no wifi. I don't understand what's taking so long for management to fix the issue but it's really annoying. Then we put an a request to get our carpets cleaned and after they took a month to get back to us about it they finally came and did a horrible job. The carpet is still filthy with the same stains that were there before. Whoever cleaned the carpets didn't put much effort into it. At this point I think the carpet is just outdated and needs to be pulled up and replaced with a new carpet but you think there going to want to make those changes? I doubt it.
This place is poorly managed. People here are filthy and the complex cannot seem to make improvements towards that. The entries to all apartments are filthy due to people leaving leaky trash bags outside their doors (trash Valet). This is mostly due to the complex not providing the trash bins. I did not have one for 3 weeks but I managed to walk myself to the dumpster every day. The grass area has an extreme amount of pet poop that the tenants cant seem to bend their lazy tails over to pick up their pets poop. Yes, your kids will play in that grass. All that filth gets tracked into your apartment. On my move in, the place was poorly cleaned. Carpet was not cleaned and I had to get them back in to clean the carpet. I cleaned the rest of the apartment. Maintenance scheduling is horrible. My water heater went out and they sent me an email saying it would take up to three days. I waited until they closed and called the after hours maintenance. It was fixed within the hour. I would recommend before you plan to move in, see if you can read their local tenant blog. you might get 1 out of 5 ok comments but I promise that you will see it a bit different.
I am a current resident of this community and wow the current staff is amazing! My apartment is quiet, I have a first floor apartment and I don't hear my neighbors around me or above me. Any time I need something fixed or addressed with my apartment its fixed within the same day. The parking outside my building isn't bad at all but I ended up getting a covered reserved spot so my car didn't cook in the sun in the afternoons and so far I have never come home to anyone parked in my space. I enjoy being able to have my trashed picked up outside my door in the evenings, I could take it to the dumpster but instead I can do other things with my time which is great. Its also nice being able to pay my bill online and there are no extra fee's for this service. All in all I would absolutely recommend this complex to others, just make sure you utilize the feature on their website to see all the currently available and future available apartments so you can compare them and get the best rate as well as desired location in the complex.
Great apartments, and great staff. The apartments are beautiful and well kept. The appliances are new and if you have a problem, the maintenance is very prompt to fix the problem. The staff are very helpful and polite. Candice from Waterford Ridge sat down with me and help me find another apartment when I was leaving the apartments due to work. It is the best complex I have ever lived in. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Very quiet, well kept property. People in the office are very nice and answered all my questions. Maintenance is quick with work orders. I'm glad I chose this place for my family.
I enjoy living at Waterford Ridge. I have been here for 2 1/2 years. The grounds are always kept clean, the neighborhood is quiet and appealing to military and veterans. I plan to live here for a long time. My dog and I have enjoyed it thus far.
The management team is very friendly & helpful. They offer 1,2 & 3 bedroom apartments. It is a gated community, the neighborhood is great and it is a few miles away from highway I-35. In the hot Texas summers you can cool off in the beautiful pool & in the winters you can be cozy in the clubhouse & watch TV with some hot coffee/cocoa! A fitness center is available 24/7 as well. I love the outdoors, so my porch has comfy outdoor furniture on the balcony. They even have washers & dryers in each unit, which was very important to me! I enjoy living at Waterford Ridge!
No matter what's going on they always try to make you feel at home.
