The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Manager at The Otis, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for sharing your positive experience and kind words about the community and team. It’s wonderful to hear that you’re enjoying the spacious, well-designed units and the friendly atmosphere at The Otis. Your recommendation means a lot!
As a long time resident of this complex, STAY AWAY. The new management company does not care about you, only your money. The gates are always broken. There are people constantly out in the parking lots at night blasting music and talking loudly/arguing/yelling. More and more crimes are happening in the complex. All they did was paint the doors and stairwells and then tried to double the rent, which forced us to find somewhere else to move but now they want to charge all these ridiculous fees and will not work with someone that has lived in the complex for many years, always paid rent on time, and never caused any issues or did anything illegal. Please find another complex if you are searching. This complex is not worth the price, front office is incompetent, and the management company will try and nickel and dime you for everything you have.

Hi there, Even though your review is nearly two years old, as the new ownership and management, I wanted to personally reach out and introduce myself. Hunters Run, which recently changed owners at the beginning of 2024, will be going through some beautiful renovations. While we may not be able to change your experience in the past, we can assure you that our goal is to provide the best service and invite you to see the new, re-imagined Hunters Run. Should we be of any additional assistance, please feel free to reach out to us directly at MTyson@mmgmgt.com. Here's to Better Living, Michele - Community Manager
I must say! I've had my share of apartments here in macon and this is the BEST ONE I've experienced. I don't plan to move until I become a homeowner. It's peaceful, spacious, modern-contemporary, the pics do it no justice. I love the ground-keep, it's always well maintained. my kids love the play area. Also when I have a maintenance issue Justin comes and fixes it quickly. I appreciate that. the office staff is nice and friendly. Sabrina is the one who gave me the initial tour and I loved her energy. Overall I love where I live and I feel safe. (my only con is the gate not working, but I'm sure it'll be repaired soon, hopefully.)
I've stayed here for 3 years now and moving these apartments are not the same anymore at all staff has become very rude random suspicious guy walking around the complex like he's plotting to rob someone, very loud music and talking after quiet hours...I'm glad I'm moving
Hunters Run is a great place to live. It's nice, peaceful, clean, and spacious. The maintenance men are always on site and on duty. The staff makes you feel welcomed and like family. They are always attentive to the tenants. I would recommend to anyone. Also a great place for starters or families.
Hunters Run's Apartments is a quiet & serene gated community where you will feel safe & secure. From Management to Maintenance there is always a level of professionalism. If there is an issue they like to make sure that swift action is taken. Our reasonably priced 2bd/2bth has a great amount of space with an office studio area that is perfect for my husband. There is a great fitness center, playground/volleyball area, business center & last but not least a salt water swimming pool & they also have parties once in awhile( Who doesn't love a PARTY!!!). You truly get a bang for your buck! Become a part of the Hunter's Run Community & I promise you wont be disappointed!
Hunters Run Apartments are centrally located to everything, convenient to the major hub of Macon, whether its on Zebulon Road or going towards downtown Macon to going to the new Mall on Riverside Drive. Apartments are luxurious, large bedrooms.
