Property Ratings at The Osprey at Lake Norman
The apartments are nice (as one would expect based on their age) and the staff is generally friendly. However, the management is a nightmare. Since moving in they have been plagued with system issues. The amenities are pretty good. The pickleball court they showed on their brochure 3 years ago when I moved is is finally nearing completion. Working with them is quite the pain the rear, compounded by the fact that they change management companies and therefore some of the staff constantly. I expect by the time I finish writing this I'll yet another portal I need to access to pay my bill.

Disappointed, the views are stunning but communication from the leasing office is awful. They don’t call you back and have issues with follow through.
The Osprey is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The office staff is the best and is always very helpful to any issues. I truly enjoy living at the Osprey and would highly recommend to anyone.

Great location. You actually live on Lake Norman. Not near it, but next to it. Beautiful apartments with crown molding. Covered garage. Close to everything and the community is wonderful. Ideal. What is wrong, Greystar management. They don’t know how to manage a luxury apartment complex. Lacking in communication and social events. Dismissed cleaning crew and hallways starting to smell. Poolside furniture dirty and grills subpar. Most of the onsite management team is young and green. It’s a shame. The previous team were wonderful, engaging and scheduled many events throughout the year. Maintenance team are an exception, they are excellent. By the way, Antonio is mentioned in earlier reviews, he and the others have left since Greystar rolled in. It’s too bad, The Osprey is the diamond in the rough.

There is no soundproofing in the ceiling/floors. It is the worst I have ever lived in…. I can hear when my upstairs neighbor rolls over in bed and her bed creaks. My downstairs neighbors complain about how loud I am also. You cannot perform daily tasks let alone walk in your apartment without the person below hearing you. It is a nightmare I cannot wait to move out. 2 white noise machines in my room still cannot drown out the footsteps that sound like an elephant stomping and bed creaking above me.

The Osprey was the 9th and last property I toured at the end of 2023. Hands down, a 5-star resort-like community with amenities abound. I was in the market for a place to call home…At Osprey I found spacious apartments, lake views, large balconies, security, a fitness center, valet trash, a gorgeous pool, rooftop cabanas, a clubhouse, and a professional, kind, office staff and maintenance team. Jessica, Michelle, and Antonio have been a joy to work with and I feel fortunate to call them my friends. The maintenance team responds promptly to any issues or problems. When I first moved into Osprey it was very nice but during the year I was there problems started to occur - First hallways inside the building smelled awful, trash area and carpet in front of trash door was wet and smelled really bad. In the summer the big porch areas are nice but just wait because roaches will take over the patio at night time - making really hard to enjoy the patio. Silverfish bugs are all over the apartment and hallways of the building and when you report it - they say... it's apartment living. Spending the money they want monthly you should have a clean trash area, paito free of roaches and NO silverfish bugs.

I found this apartment online while it was being built. Fell in love with it and I kept in touch until the complex was completed. It is a beautiful place to live. We retired early, left SC and moved to Mooresville the moment the last construction was complete. We LOVE it here. This is home. The Adminstrative staff is like family as well as the maintenance folks. The complex is in front of Lake Norman and the fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating is wonderful. All of the amenities are fantastic. Definitely a place to call home.

The Osprey is an absolutely gorgeous place to live! The lake views are breath taking year round. The apartments are SO spacious, beautiful finishes with a ton of light! The staff is incredible friendly and helpful, couldn’t be happier with this place!

Apartment living is not always easy. There always seems to be something that makes living in an apartment an unpleasant experience. The Osprey at Lake Norman is the exception to that rule! Just being on the shore of Lake Norman is one thing, but the apartments are designed so nearly everyone has a view of the lake. Even if the view isn't directly of the lake, at least they didn't build in such a way to block the view. The layout is quite well done as well. The rooms are spacious and come with ceiling fans. In the kitchen, not only are the appliances stainless steel, they are high-end. For the stove, you get a glass top, instead of traditional burners, and the refrigerator comes with water and ice in the door. If you like dogs, this is the place for you. There is close to a 2:1 ratio of dogs to humans! When you walk around the complex you are certain to meet another person walking their dog. They are also welcome in the clubhouse where the management team has treats waiting for them. The clubhouse is also very modern with a gourmet kitchen waiting for dinner parties. It would be hard to find nicer, better-maintained apartments, than The Osprey at Lake Norman.

Recently had the pleasure of touring with Michelle and I was in awe during the entire experience. Beautifully decorated, unmatched accommodations, and a staff that goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. She went over all of our options without us feeling pushed into making a decision. My husband and I have gone to quite a few places and the Osprey checks all the boxes by far! Can’t wait for move in day!

We love our view from our large patio. Rooms are very spacious and a lot of closets. Great amenities!! Very pet friendly!! Landscaping is beautiful!! Even our dogs love living at The Osprey!!
