Avoid at All Costs

If you're considering Oliver Apartment Homes, let me save you the trouble: run in the opposite direction. This place embodies everything you don't want in a living situation—unreliable management, a blatant disregard for tenant comfort, and a penchant for empty promises. Let's start with the most basic necessity: air conditioning. For an entire week during scorching summer heat, we were left sweltering because the air conditioning was out. Did management rush to fix it? No. Their priority seemed to be pinching pennies rather than ensuring the well-being of their paying tenants. It's appalling how they handled the situation, pacifying us with lies and false assurances when they knew full well that the issue wouldn't be resolved promptly. I chose Oliver primarily for its location in a good school zone and its affordability. But let me tell you, living in what passes for affordable here is far from worth it. The constant stress of wondering when the next maintenance disaster will strike outweighs any perceived benefit. Their passive-aggressive and lackluster response to our complaints about the unbearable heat—treating it as a mere inconvenience rather than the health and safety issue it was—reveals their true colors. It's clear they prioritize saving a few bucks over ensuring their tenants are comfortable and safe. Save yourself the headache and disappointment. Living in an actual house, where you have control over your living conditions and responsive management, is far superior to the circus act they run at Oliver Apartment Homes. They deserve to be called out for their negligence and complete lack of empathy towards their residents.

I love living in Plantation Apartments! It feels like home to me, everything you need is very convenient! I have been living here for 6 years an love it! The staff is very friendly an helpful in any way you need them wheather it is putting in a filter to changing a lightbulb. I love sitting out on the patio in the evening very relaxing ! Management is AWFUL

This is a very difficult apartment complex to work with when there are issues. How ironic we terminated our lease early and I understand the fees for that, but just as the stimulus checks were supposedly posted we get a collection notice for over $2700. We already paid $1300 almost a year ago. Now we have received this collection notice. This company is not to be trusted. They don't do what they say they are going to do. DON'T RENT FROM HERE! Not willing to talk or work with you.

Get ready to be screwed

If you like living in Memphis than you will love this place. Gun shots on a frequent basis. Drug dealers all over. We lived there for 8 years and paid over 100,000 in rent. We were never late. We paid a full deposit, pet deposit, and increases rent for the pet. After we moved out they sent a bill for 1500.00 saying the carpet was ruined. I don’t understand what the additional costs are for if they are just going to send you another bill after you move out. They would not arrange payments and are sending straight to collections with penalties and interest. They will not return phone calls. Great way to treat your customers!

We have grown to love apartment life !!!

At first our family had a hard time adjusting to apartment living. We were use to a house. But our complex is a work in process. The complex our making some wonderful changes to our little apartment community. We have been here almost three years and have never had a problem. We have great neighbors and our maintance team are great. My 9 yr old has lots of friends and he loves the pools and playgrounds. We love the changes that have been made and we hope to see more. If you are thinking of looking here , Come on I promise you will like it !!! Doug and Shelia Bennington

Review for apartment

I enjoy my apartment because I have a lake view but they charge more just because the apartment is right on the lake(a small man-made lake but still pretty). They keep the grounds clean and have recently painted the shutters and doors and repaved the parking lot. Yet, they will not work with you on payment plans and I have never been late on rent. I noticed every time someone new moves in, they get new carpet but not with me when I moved in. It looked new because they had shampoo'd it and then the stains started resurfacing and my neighbor told me the previous tenants had 2 big dogs that swam in the lake and came back in the apartment wet. On a positive note, I love that it has a wood burning fire place and they keep the 2 pools open year round

A home to love!

I toured your models and can see why so many of my friends enjoy living there. My grandaughter and new husband live in a 2 bdrm unit and it is very cozy and homey. Seeing theirs and the surroundings made me want to be a part of it. Of all the apartments I have lived in, Plantation is the best.
