The Meadows Apartments Lakemoor

Molly was awesome!! She was incredibly transparent and answered all questions thoughtfully. We came in just to get more information on one type of apartment, and we ended up touring one! All of the explained as well as what each apartment is like. They really enforce the tenters to make the apartments their home, so painting, extra security, mounting on walls, etc. are all okay with no extra expense (as long as you leave it how it came). Overall, Loved the customer service and neighborhood!

The staff at The Meadows was very helpful and informative. I needed a few repairs done and a work order was put in and the maintenance team was there that same day. Maintenance guys are excellent at fixing things and very friendly. The ladies in the office are so helpful and friendly. It was a very smooth move-in process and I really like my apartment and neighbors.

I applied and they immediately responded. I had high hopes. They even called to change my move in date. Then I was approved, I was so happy. But then, the ladies at the leasing office said they hadn’t gotten notice. All of the sudden, a week later, I’m being denied for not getting in touch with them for further verification, even though I was in touch with them through email. Never got a response. Left a voicemail with the verification team and no response. Emailed the ladies at the leasing office, no response. But they were quick to put the unit I applied for back on the market! Would never recommend this place to anyone. Worse experience ever.

This is my third year at the Meadows. It is a quiet and comfortable place to live. This year we have had many community enhancements. They added a gas fire pit, large outdoor hammocks, two large gas grills by the pool, bean bag games, and 2 pickleball courts. Big repairs included parking lot pavements, pool , major landscaping. We have community events, my favorite being our fall fest. It included venders, doggie swim day, fantastic food and pumpkin painting. I would recommend the Meadows!

I love my apartment and the people & staff here are so nice and Welcoming. I love the peace and quiet and friendliness, so far so good.

Moved in a little over 1 week ago & everything was as seamless as possible. The Meadows staff are all extremely helpful and attentive, providing quick responses when needed. The neighborhood is beautiful and cozy. The layout of my apartment (Cypress floor plan) was designed so perfectly with attention to what matters- you can tell there was careful consideration that went into the dimensions of each room, closet, bathroom, etc. It feels even bigger than it is because of this. I have 0 complaints about my apartment/this neighborhood so far & am extremely happy to be living here!

The pet restrictions are ideal for someone who likes big dogs or doesn’t want to declaw their pet. The school district is 38 and what a wonderful school that is. Maintenance has always been there right when we needed them. The dog park makes it so you have a back yard like a house you just have to take a walk to get there so that’s very nice. My kid loves the parks around here, the new homes means it is a good place to be or people wouldnt build there or buy from there. They rent out townhomes. We are a growing family so we plan on moving to one of their townhomes. Woodmans is a great place to get most of what you need and even get car repairs. You get your own laundry machine which saves time and money. The business center and club house are only open when the office is open. I think that’s should change that because being able to get on the computer at 8pm or 6am would help with homework since I am back in college so I hope they do change that and let residents use the key to be able to use that business center. All in all, so far it is a great place. I just hope they stay affordable.

I was married for 34 years and we divorced in 2019, I moved here in December 2020, Amy was awesome helping me out and assisted me with the paperwork, what kind of place, I was looking for. The Staff here is amazing they treat you like Family.

Management staff is always available, helpful and pleasant. Maintenance staff is always timely, professional and skillful in any necessary repairs or services. Great place to live...

I've been here three years now. Very accommodating staff and excellent maintenance crew. Like having the in unit laundry and garage options and recommend them both. Ample sized patios/balconies are great for outdoor living.

I feel like when we first moved in about 2 years ago the meadows was clean and so new. Now I feel like they have let this complex go. There are light poles on the ground that haven't been fixed there are also gutters/drains that haven't been fixed in a long time and it looks bad just laying on the floor. The potholes are horrible and not fixed and there is extreme amount of gravel on the road.. and this winter the snow removal was horrible there was always snow everywhere and ice all over the place it was not safe to even walk.. I've had company fall and it was so embarrassing.. the meadows is not what it use to be

Going on 6 years living here. Extremely happy. The staff our like my family. I love it here. My neighbors are extremely friendly. We look out for each other.

The management and maintenance team at The Meadows are great, and on point. I've been here 9 years with no complaints.

Been at Meadows for several years, have moved to three different apartments because I like change. All personnel are professional and courteous, maintenance guys react quickly to the few problems I have had over the years. Landscape and grounds are nicely kept. Quiet community, with plenty of room, good value for the price.

We LOVE living at The Meadows. It is a quiet neighborhood with great people.

It has been pleasant so far. The Meadows is nicely located surrounded by nature. Close enough to shopping and conveniences although far enough to enjoy quality of life.

Love The Meadows, everyone in the office and maintenance are always so friendly. Maintenance gets problems fixed in reasonable time.

All maintenanceinside and outis great and I always feel safe and secure in my unit. Management is top notch as well. I love it here.

As a former House person, finding this Apartment complex has been a blessing.

I've lived here over 13 years and during that time I have see a general decline in the appearance overall. The parking lots have really taken a beating and show it. Downspouts are not being repaired and reattached. The bushes and grass are generally being kept cut, but there are large areas that need a lot of improvement. Especially near the entrances of our buildings.There are also safety railings that have broken off that are not being repaired or replaced.

Great place to live. Management/maintenance responds quickly to any issues, and common areas are always clean, and outdoor space nicely groomed. Love it here.

Good price for a great apartment. Has all the necessities for living and is in a great location close to Woodman's. Parking can be sparse for visitors on weekends. Management is extremely helpful and responsive.

Living at the Meadows during the pandemic has been great. My family is safe and they worked with me during these trying times.

I love living here! Its a clean, quiet and friendly area. My apartment is beautiful and just what I need! During Covid19 quarantine encouraging signs were places where we could all see them. They have had little fun contests for residents. Such as a beautiful balcony contest. The office staff have made my transition here very comfortable and calming. Especially Jill!

I have lived at The Meadows for two years now and have always felt satisfied with my apartment and The Meadows crew. This community is always helpful, caring, and very accommodating! I highly recommended living here, as there will always be smiles and cheerfulness, especially in such a hard time!

Ive lived in the Meadows for 6 years now & I really like it here. All the Employees are very nice I never had a problem with anyone here. Office girls are great & all the Maintenance Guys are so nice to & can fix everything. Theres a lot of grounds here & its so pretty the way they take care of their landscaping. The plow the parking lots when we get snow & shovel & salt the sidewalks. Its very quiet at night because were off the main road 120 & were set back quite a bit so you dont hear all the traffic sounds. Its a very nice place to call home.

Ive been with the Meadows now for 6 years now & I just love it here. Ive never rented before my husband & I always owned homes so after he passed away I had to find a place to rent. Our home was to large & taxes were very high so renting was my best option. When I first came here to look at the apartment I liked it right away so I told the girl in the office Becky that I would like this unit that Im in. I really like all the girls in the office. They are so nice & so helpful to me when I need something.,They are wonderful girls. The maintenance men are all so very nice & friendly. When I need something done theyre right there to fix it. They are a good group of guys. The snow is plowed in the parking lots & also the sidewalks with salt. The landscaping is very nice & neat & pretty. I just love it here Im hoping to make it my home.

Love living at the Meadows. The common areas are nicely maintained and the management personal are always extremely polite and helpful in any situation. Cant wait until next year when I can hopefully make use of the pool and exercise facilities. Would recommend the Meadows to everyone.

Dog friendly, safe and happy community with luxury apartments without the luxury price. Office staff are amiable and always available when you have questions.

The first time i saw my unit I knew right away it was what I wanted. I felt safe comfortable the girls in the office are so nice they make you feel like you belong like family. The landscaping is so pretty they keep it up so nice.i have a walk in closet which is so nice & theres another big closet in the spare room. Theres a linen closet in the hall bathroom pantry in the kitchen a storage room off the front outside porch. They have a nice swimming pool that I used pretty much tennis courts & Golf unfortunately I dont play. I love when they vacuume the hallways its so clean looking. You meet a lot of people here eventually. Ive never had a bad experience here.Theres a lot to say but I will be here all day. Im very happy here.

Do not live here! I've been here for 3 months and had problems with every little thing. Maintainence takes days to come "fix" the problem. The problems keep coming back. None of the amenities such as the pool or gym are open. This place is a joke and waste of money.

I am thoroughly enjoying living here ! Our apartment faces the real meadow, so it is extremely private.
