The tidal creeks and marshes once used as hideouts for treasure-hungry pirates (including Blackbeard himself) now make up the scenic landscape enjoyed by South Myrtle Beach residents. A few miles down South Carolina’s Highway 17 will transport you from the tourist-filled streets of Myrtle Beach to the coastal properties of Murrells Inlet. This quaint fishing village is known for show-stopping flavors that make it “The Seafood Capital of South Carolina.” Each day fishing and shrimping boats deliver boatloads of fresh seafood to be cooked up at local eateries soon after.
During the day, the beaches of Murrell Inlet offer a more secluded sun and surf than Myrtle Beach. Residents can enjoy expert fishing tours, adventurous water sports, or simply a day of sunbathing on the warm coast.
The jewel of the inlet however, the MarshWalk, comes alive at night.

I moved into my apartment just a week ago and it’s already been a great experience! The move-in process was seamless, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities have been incredibly convenient—I’ve already taken advantage of the pool, the free coffee and wine, the car cleaning station, and the computer/printer area in the clubhouse. There have also been a couple of community events since I moved in, which I love. It’s a great way to meet neighbors, and I’m really looking forward to more of them!

Everything is as expected for apartment living. Some better than none. Parking is not the best. Don’t come home late. There are many different things good about The Lively not too many bad. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

We enjoy living at The Lively. The Resort style pool is beautiful. There are enjoyable activities happening several times per month at the club house. The office staff do an excellent job.

Once again, like in every review, the breezeways are stained and crusted with hot chocolate, etc. they can be mopped or cleaned in some way but never are. Also when maintenance comes and blows the leaves and dust it comes right under the cracks of the doors. It's a mess!!! I never see the pest control guy on my ring doorbell, I haven't seen him in about 5 months? I saw him every time last summer so...

I love living at the Lively Murrells Inlet! Its quiet and safe and I feel at home here. The amenities are nice and the staff is great! Its in a great location near the beach and the Marshwalk.

The apartment is nice, but the hallways are a mess. I also didn't appreciate that I got my car toad because I forgot to put up my handicap card on the mirror one night. I got home late and had lots of packages and totally forgot and it ended up costing me $266. I'm 81 years old and forgetful. It would be nice to have assigned, numbered parking spots. We were one of the first tenants to move into The Lively. If I come home late, I can never get a spot near the door where the elevator is. Late at night I have to walk quite far to find a parking spot. Aside from that, the women in the office are very nice and try to help.

Amenities and apartments are lovely! Great location as well. Dog park, sky lounge, fire pit, pool w ping pong and lounge w a tv, computers in office, a car wash station, Storage units for rent, garages and carriage home too!

Love it here I have the greatest view to look at from my screened balcony. The Lake with fountain, pool and hammock and fire pit are my views. Parking is good and car wash is such a plus especially with all the pollen

Since I have arrived and began my new life here at lively, life has been quite peaceful. I have encountered fellow dog loving residents and had the pleasure of saying hi to their fur babies. People are friendly or they keep to themselves which I highly respect. The staff are professional and quick to accommodate your needs and are fair to situations that require attention. The gym has everything you need although a punching bag would definitely make it even more awesome cough cough hint hint Coffee selection is great! Hammock tried only once and need to do so again. Nothing beats chilling with your dog in a hammock Love the fire pit and the bike storage

Two words……LOVE IT!!!! This place is amazing! I’m not too close to the beach where I have to fight traffic but I’m close enough that everything is 20-30 minutes away.

The apartment layouts are nice for the price you pay, leasing and maintenance staff is very friendly and always willing to help with any questions. Location is great, close to a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping outlets. Only downside is the majority of residents who don’t follow the most simple rules.

This is a beautiful upbeat place to live. The ladies in the office are so pleasant and always ready to assist you. The maintenance is very professional and respond very quickly. They repair everything very well. My apartment is beautiful. I love the first floor Spade Fish overlooking the beautiful pool area. This is pure paradise living here.

I like having the dog park so the girls (dogs) can run around and burn off their energy. Also like the community events being able to meet neighbors and enjoy the time. Also very close to the beach so definitely love that

Moving to The Lively is one of the best decisions I have made. The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond and issues (which have been few and far between) are expediently resolved. The Lively is conveniently located to fine dining and shopping, but my favorite place to be is at home! I thoroughly enjoy sitting on the screened in balcony with lovely views of the manicured grounds. Absolute perfection!

The hallways are a mess. The trash people drop stuff all around the elevators and in the elevators. Nothing has been done to clean the hallways for the last 5 months. The wind has also been blowing debris into the hallways as well.

The whole community is super friendly and welcoming. Leasing office staff are amazing from the first time we came to the complex for a tour to communicating through email for our application process to arriving here on our move in date. The complex is beautiful, apartments are cozy and affordable, it has a lot to offer such as ammeneties, on-site services, and so much more. Location is perfect, there’s so much to do in the area but you don’t get the noise from inside your apartment or walking around in the community.

Nice place. My apartment is quite and like the view I have. Do wish I had a deck. I have great neighbors. Alot of people don't pickup after their dogs though.
