The tidal creeks and marshes once used as hideouts for treasure-hungry pirates (including Blackbeard himself) now make up the scenic landscape enjoyed by South Myrtle Beach residents. A few miles down South Carolina’s Highway 17 will transport you from the tourist-filled streets of Myrtle Beach to the coastal properties of Murrells Inlet. This quaint fishing village is known for show-stopping flavors that make it “The Seafood Capital of South Carolina.” Each day fishing and shrimping boats deliver boatloads of fresh seafood to be cooked up at local eateries soon after.
During the day, the beaches of Murrell Inlet offer a more secluded sun and surf than Myrtle Beach. Residents can enjoy expert fishing tours, adventurous water sports, or simply a day of sunbathing on the warm coast.
The jewel of the inlet however, the MarshWalk, comes alive at night.

Poop all over, even in elevator, a staff that doesn't care and gives same lines from a manual over and over, dirty breezeways, no upkeep, outer paint of doors leading into all or most apartments are all scuffed and look crappy and maintenance doesn't even change air con filters anymore, it's been over 6 months since it was changed, we shouldn't have to ask. Many more issues but I don't have all day.

Good clean apartments. Great pool and Community gym is decent - not great but definitely better than other complexes’ in the area. 4 stars because there is a major lack of storage.

Searched throughout the area to find the right complex. The Lively has great amenities, the apartments are up to date and beautiful! The pool and gym facilities are very nice and clean.

I rented the Black Fin sight unseen because I lived in another state and did everything online and on the phone . When I walked into my apartment for the first time I felt like I was home. Everything is exactly like you see online. I love ?? my new home. It's perfect for me! There's a Clubhouse with coffee and wine, a dog and car wash area, and it's peaceful and everyone is friendly. ????????

Well after 3 months living here I can honestly say this has been the best place we have lived in, in all of South Carolina. Not only is the community friendly, their is so much to do, other residents greet you as if you were old friends, making you feel welcome. My husband and I really enjoy living at the Lively. Love the pool, club house ,fitness center and sky lounge. Office staff and maintence team are fantastic. The monthly activities are wonderful.. have met some nice neighbors there.

New management doesn’t seem satisfactory, why in the world they wouldn’t make Julia the manager is absolutely mind blowing. The provided apartments locks are less than acceptable and don’t work as stated. I have lived in luxury my whole life, this is most definitely not “Luxury Living.”

The pool is beautiful but needs to be cleaned more frequently as there is algal growth along the bottom sides of the bool. By and large, the Lively is being very well maintained by staff. The only blight are those residents who smoke on the property, litter, fail to clean-up after their pets and think their cars are part of the NASCAR circuit..

Been here for a few months and I love it! The amenities feel luxurious. I have a little fenced in yard area that is perfect for my dog. It’s close to so many great restaurants and minutes away from stores.

Great staff and amenities! Love the community and apartment’s! So close to the marsh and maintenance is very good as well! The hidden games are always a blast and the events they put on monthly are also very good and fun!
I love the pool the best! It’s always warm and inviting. It’s great that we’re allowed to have pets as I’ve been meeting such sweet furry friends. There are so many features I love about the lively, it’s hard to pick just one!
Apartments are nice. Staff is wonderful. Amenities are great. Neighbors are all very friendly. Lots of community events that are well planned. Love the monthly food truck visit. The only downside is the amount of smoking on property even though you sign a contract that it is a non smoking community.

I already love the place, location, features of The Lively Murrells Inlet. It’s attractive, well maintained and comfortable here. I love the landscaping and outdoor amenities which give it a resort feel. Plenty of parking so and handicap access.

It's beautiful here. The amenities are fantastic, the staff is great. The whole community is clean. Our apartment is just beautiful, the residents are friendly. We will definitely renew our lease for years to come.
Community as a whole are friendly and amenities like the pool and gym are really nice. The one bedroom Flounder unit is really nice. I love the layout and for the price including the porch is reasonable. Maintainance workers are friendly and are on site for whatever problems you may have. Leasing office could work on a couple things.

I moved into my apartment just a week ago and it’s already been a great experience! The move-in process was seamless, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities have been incredibly convenient—I’ve already taken advantage of the pool, the free coffee and wine, the car cleaning station, and the computer/printer area in the clubhouse. There have also been a couple of community events since I moved in, which I love. It’s a great way to meet neighbors, and I’m really looking forward to more of them!

Everything is as expected for apartment living. Some better than none. Parking is not the best. Don’t come home late. There are many different things good about The Lively not too many bad. The pros definitely outweigh the cons.

We enjoy living at The Lively. The Resort style pool is beautiful. There are enjoyable activities happening several times per month at the club house. The office staff do an excellent job.

Once again, like in every review, the breezeways are stained and crusted with hot chocolate, etc. they can be mopped or cleaned in some way but never are. Also when maintenance comes and blows the leaves and dust it comes right under the cracks of the doors. It's a mess!!! I never see the pest control guy on my ring doorbell, I haven't seen him in about 5 months? I saw him every time last summer so...

I love living at the Lively Murrells Inlet! Its quiet and safe and I feel at home here. The amenities are nice and the staff is great! Its in a great location near the beach and the Marshwalk.

The apartment is nice, but the hallways are a mess. I also didn't appreciate that I got my car toad because I forgot to put up my handicap card on the mirror one night. I got home late and had lots of packages and totally forgot and it ended up costing me $266. I'm 81 years old and forgetful. It would be nice to have assigned, numbered parking spots. We were one of the first tenants to move into The Lively. If I come home late, I can never get a spot near the door where the elevator is. Late at night I have to walk quite far to find a parking spot. Aside from that, the women in the office are very nice and try to help.

Amenities and apartments are lovely! Great location as well. Dog park, sky lounge, fire pit, pool w ping pong and lounge w a tv, computers in office, a car wash station, Storage units for rent, garages and carriage home too!

This is a very clean community with welcoming people and has beautiful amenities. It’s also very secluded and always peaceful, the staff is office/staff is also very helpful.
