The Links & The Greens at Oxford

They do not do their job, you have to put in multiple work orders and it’s like oh they will come the next day type no 3-4 days later they come. Our air was out a whole week before somebody came to fix it and I have kids both under the age of two!!! No air for a WEEK!!! With two small children! as if it is like they do not care anyway. They have roaches. They are not helpful at all. They have attitudes and talk to you as if you’re incompetent. Dog poop everywhere. Increases rent with low quality equipment, we literally had something broke or stop working like every other day/week! Excessive trash and overall unclean conditions. We had no lights in our bathroom living room area nor kitchen for a week until we moved out due to an accident that happen from a whole other apartment! Remind you I have two kids under two!! We move out and come to find out they took our whole deposit?? Overall this is the worst place to stay in Oxford

We moved here because it was cheaper than other apartments. They told us it would be one price when we toured and signed the lease. When we got the apartment, it was almost 40$ a month more than they told us it would be. That's because the apartment they gave us was on the bottom floor, and faced the golf course. This confused me, since, while there was an option to pay more to get a bottom-floor apartment or face the golf course for more money, we never selected that option. Yet they charged us anyway. They also just offered us a new lease and jacked up the rate by 80$. However, at this point, it's too expensive to move. We were also late on rent one time because we were out of town for the holidays and forgot. You accrue late fees daily, and if you are more than five days late, you get charged a nonrefundable lawyer's fee (and they won't tell you how much it's going to be until after they charge you). They also lock you out of the online system if you haven't paid the rent within two days of the due date, and don't send a reminder that you forgot to pay rent until after you've been locked out of the system. We had to spend 80$ to overnight a money order to pay rent, all because they refused to unlock the online payment system. I honestly hate this place and wish I never moved here. The office staff is terrible and treats you like garbage. But we're stuck for now since it's too expensive to move. I feel trapped. Please don't let this be you.

Maintenance men are either not well trained or literally do not care about their work because I’ve had issues with my AC SINCE MOVING IN & the issue has never been resolved by anyone! Leaks continuously & has left moldy areas in not only my wall but the roof. Also the price rise as of recent is somewhat understandable due to pandemic but not worth the price when its already a pretty small 1 bedroom 1 bathroom and there are no new adjustments or enhancements to justify the spike. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone family nor stranger.

As a new resident of MS, I completed an application with this property as a potential residence. I paid the application fee upfront, then spoke with the apartment complex and set up an onsite visit for 1 month from now. I was informed that I was on a wait list and had plenty of time to come view the property before proceeding. The very same day my credit card was charged another $350 processing fee. I have called and emailed daily since, not agreeing to the $350 processing fee that I was charged. I was informed by Tori/Chelsey (mgt) that the $350 fee was non-refundable. I would not recommend this property, especially if this is how they do business before a potential new tenant even decides to live here. I am very upset, feel like this was a unethical process and lost $380 for a "potential" apartment in May 2022.

Mold popped up because of how old the walls and home complex is besides Noisy all hours of the night. People race through the complex in loud cars all hours as well. If you have a job and need to get rest for work, rent somewhere else. The worst apartment complex I have every lived at. Management is incredibly unwilling to help at any turn. They attempt to get all the money they can; we talk To management they said; we’re not getting are deposited back; and they can’t help! With nothing

The apartment complex must have given tenants the legal right to smoke marijuana as you smell it when you pull up, through the walls, and individuals are puffing away on their patios in plain sight. The apartments are not cleaned and prepped properly for move in. Be prepared to have to clean old residue and debris from the previous tenants. The property is extremely dark at night as the lights do not work; unsafe and scary. Very dissatisfied with the apartment and community. It’s unacceptable!

I lived here for over a year. In my opinion this place is the worse place to live. They are completely and utterly disrespectful. Living here is like living in hell! The walls are thin and you can hear everything the people are saying and doing next door. If you want to be completely miserable and abosultely HATE where you live, deal with miscommunication then by all means live in The Links.

Don’t move here. Most apartments have roaches, I have had to fog my own apartment at least 5 times at my own expense to get rid of them. The Links exterminator just sprays around the base boards and leaves. There is black mold outside on the porch and they’ve had three police reports filed this past week about maintenance staff breaking into cars and apartments, stealing from tenants. My down stairs neighbor got hit this week. I’m thinking of breaking my lease and getting my family out of here.

I love the location but the apartment is old and so are the appliances. The maintenance guys are perverted! The first time using dishwasher, it bagged up into the sinks. Now I see roaches and I was told my building isn't scheduled to be sprayed til Nov. Come on September 2016

I currently reside in the The Links apartment complex in Oxford Ms. I would recommend this apartment complex to any individual looking to rent in the Oxford area. The manager is very nice and helpful the property is cleaned and well kept well supervised and a safe environment. There's a golf course jacuzzi and pool area that's always clean and open and available to all.
