Property Ratings at The Landings
Horrible since new owner, Focus. Many fees, gas is not included as listed. Feel like they want me out because I am an old tenant. Never had issues prior. I have lived here almost 5 years and loved it. No maintenance or management on site.
This apartment complex charges fee's for everything. 25.00 per month maintenence fee. Service fee to pay the utilities monthly. Account service fee 14.99 to set account to pay utilities. No manager on site. No microwave in unit. Expect to pay much more per month than expected.
I just moved in but i have already been made to feel at home. The property manager and staff have been excellent!!! I have met some wonderful neighbors.....all in all this seems like a most pleasant place to live.....thank you so much Evan for your efforts to make this a desirable place to live.
About 3 plus years this location was given to me by an organization called " A place for Mom." Checked it out on MapQuest and liked the location and surroundings. Lake Michigan, the Y, located between two towns, schools, hospitals, parks. The apartment I chose is back of the building facing the wood, where I can enjoy the peacefulness of nature. The apartment itself is very comfortable, the colors are light and cheerful, and always taken care of should there be a problem, or something just needs to be fixed. Hallway and laundry room is always kept very clean and in good working condition. There are two managers on the premises, one for office etc.and one for maintenance. Both very helpful. There is also a playground and a Community Centre, when you want to meet your neighbor. So when you are looking for an apartment, I would highly recommend to check these out with all they have to offer. Personally I know when my lease is up, God willing, I will sign up for another year because these apartments are like a home.
I really am enjoying my first time living in what I call the city. I have lived in the country my whole life and was a little worried. Very quiet and the people are VERY nice and respectful here. I am in a one bedroom and they are VERY spacious.
The management staff worked with me long distance since I was relocating from Arizona. An apartment was held for me, without any monies being collected. Except for what I could see online, I rented an apartment sight unseen. As promised I had newly painted walls, new carpet and linoleum. The manager came in after the office had closed so I could sign my lease and get the keys. This is a decision I am so glad I made. No regrets!
We have lived here for almost a year now and have had nothing but good experiences! Keith the property manager is wonderful, he's always available to help out when needed or just to sit around and chat! The neighbors are all very friendly and courteous. The wildlife is awesome, deer, rabbits, squirrels, hummingbirds, all always around and very fun to watch! The apartments themselves are beautiful, nicely laid out and well taken care of. The lake right across the street makes these apartments the perfect location!
From the application process to getting situated the onsite management has been tremendously helpful,always called us back within minutes of contacting him and made time for us when he was busy. We viewed several locations and this offered the most spoce for what we wanted to pay and the service was the selling point. A place I would recommend to anybody looking in this area.
Walking distance to Michigan Lake for peaceful walks. We've been enjoying our two bedroom apartment, which is plenty spacious for us. Walk-in closets for both bedrooms, a large bathroom, kitchen has lots of cupboard space. We value our home zone protected.
Lovely views of Lake Michigan with a very well maintained exercise walkway along the lake. Apartments are large and clean, and the older apartments are being updated with new wood floors or wall-wall carpet. Each unit has a patio or balcony. The business manager and maintains man both live in the complex. Wonderful neighbors, pet friendly. I would suggest Lakeview Terrace to anyone looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment.
Very nice view. Spacious rooms newly painted. Washer dryer hookups. Security entrance makes me feel safe. Great neighbor. Maintenance staff is always friendly and very fast to respond and fix issue when they arrive.
Keith the property manager has been excellent to work with. He always answers his phone and has been extremely flexible. The apartment is clean and well maintained. The responsiveness and kindness of the property manager was a major deciding factor as we did not experience this when searching for other options.
for being the first time renting and in a apartment complex it seems to be a decent facility for the most part. has been relatively quiet in our complex, no problems that haven't been addressed, a decent place to live if you are a apartment living type of person, at least as far as our time here has been so far.
The Person who met me for a showing, is more of a maintenance guy and not an office person. It does look good from the outside and from the road. The Apartments aren't terrible but there is a musty smell to them. After talking around in town, people do recommend you stay away from there, the community isn't the greatest. Would not recommend.
FIRST OF ALL, THE APARTMENT MANAGER FAILED TO MEET US AT THE DESIGNATED TIME TO VIEW THE PLACE, AND WHILE WE WERE WAITING, WE NOTICED IT WASN'T VERY WELL KEPT. LOOKS NICE FROM THE ROAD, BUT BEHIND THE SCENES IS ANOTHER STORY.
